At vanity may I ask which local government in your own opinion do you think is best in Lagos State in terms of opportunities,growth , easy climbing up the ladder, and others I know what I mean.

Also why do u wanna switch from this current work with the commissioner to local government.Just tell the commissioner to link you to civil service proper so u staffed as a Lagos State government worker then u continue with him(in my own opinion ohhh ).my. Bro in law receives his salary normal from the state government then the commissioner he works with pays him I think close to 200monthly.then u know all dose extras that comes with working with a commissioner.someone wants to see him they tip you and all that extra take home be that without touching your salary.

I work in government and am aware of whatever decision that is taken.. Am a personal assistant to a current commissioner and I have first hand information.. To the person who said if the Governor drop then interview is not needed.. Well, even if Tinubu drop list, interview is needed for formality sake.. Subsequent government might come in and ask those who were employed without due process to be saked so the need for interview for them .. The benefit of it all is that the weight attached to it can just be minimal as either they pass or fail, they will be upgraded as it was done last week Friday when some candidate were upgraded to the lass level. Am not Mr no it all but whatever I put here, just take it as the source.

Every Local govt is juicy if you know your way Sir.. The situation in Local Govt is diff from civil service proper and I prefer Local govt because many eyes are not on you unlike the state civil service where everybody can use you as they wish.. And am not leaving my job totally as the commissioner is my Bro.. So am still on salary. I applied for state counsel as a lawyer, its best to work independently without much pressure. But in Local Govt, you work with the chairman and the chairman respect you because you work for the Local Govt not him but its best u keep good attitude so you can eat good food.

Bro, this is government.. They can employ as many as they want.. You talking of LAHA list alone.. Each commissioners dropped two names.. PS dropped one each and every directors.. I know of a Director that dropped four because of her closeness to the first Lady.. Even the Mother of the Governor dropped names.. Its how powerful your lobbying is bro..

I know they are typing the letters am aware of that.. But am telling u when you getting it . yesterday board meeting ending at 9pm and as the chaiman Son, I should presume u know what was discussed.. But for public knowledge sake, its d 100 names from the Governor and how to conduct their interview on Friday.. Which put a temporary stop on letters till next week Thursday. Do tour findings Sir.

My take is they should give the current ones letter then conduct the interview for the new intakes but they won't do that reason been that the juicy local government might have finished and this new ones might take priority over the ordinary civilians. Lolz.

Local government commission don't recruit yearly bro.. Its every 4years except there is an urgent need in some departments..

Let's appreciate the fact that we have hope.. We don't know how many hundred of thousands of our mate who would appreciate the situation that we are in.. Thank God .

You guys should relax.. The list is ready and awaiting Governor's final approval.. At this point instead of worrying, I think its d best time to pray because it is at this point some people names would be struck out to accommodate Government budget as reflected in the 2018 budget. Am not a story teller. If the Governor don't give the approval today (Friday) it will be done early next week God willing. So let's hope for the best. As for those who did not take the interview and waiting for appointment letter.. Well nothing is beyong God .

Good day house.. I just booked my Interview for 9th of Jan. Am a lawyer and I earn good money alongside property management for my clients. I intend to spend ten days in Austin Texas with my male friend who is a Nurse.. Am 33, married with two kids..previous trip to Saudi Arabia for my hajj. My wife decided to spend her own vacation in Dubai two months ago ago with the kids base on the fact that she wears hijab and does not feel comfortably with the American attitude with Hijab Ladies.( no intention to state this thou) so she gave me the permission to spend the ten days with my friend in Texas.
