Which companies are talking about, apart from geometrics and maybe one or two others, or are u talking of foreign companies. |
Politics › Re: Atiku To Buhari: Reverse PHCN Privatisation by vanunu: 5:48am On Apr 29, 2015 |
Kog45: pls I don't want us to see d issue as GEJ vs GMB bcs electricity is one of d critical factor of Nigeria economy. The history of privatization of PHCN is still very fresh in our memory and we Nigerians demanded for it bcs we believe that selling of PHCN will give us d same success recorded in d telecom sector, but d reverse is d case in d electricity sector. What we are witnessing in electricity is a serious issue that must be address by incoming administration. If I may ask is privatization of electricity working,is it a sham or are we ready for privatization or we just do it for privatization sake, these are d questions we need to ask ourselves as a Nigerian. If telecom can recorded a success with little frame of time, why not electricity. We don't need to give excuses on behalf of d investors bcs what they promise us and d govt is giving stable electricity. If GEJ knew thing will turn out like this.he will never privatize PHCN bcs electricity improvement alone would have gv GEJ 2nd term.Let us be sincere,is there any difference btw PHCN and d new companies In term of operation and discharge of duties, honestly no difference bcs d privatization was done on paper and not technical ground. If it is reversation of selling of PHCN will give us light let it be but if it is privatization that will give us light let it be bcs Nigerians are tired of
lack of electricity. Are u a mad man, why compare investment in telecom with that of electricity. Did the telecom companies cover the whole country in less than two years? Do u know that some parts of this country still don't have telephone network coverage. |

Deregulation of transmission lines should not be a priority for now, it should be left with the company that is managing it. |

podosci: The IGBOS never learn from history The SS were not the one that lost close to 3million of their people during the foolish Biafra war but yet the IGBO are thinking of aligning with them A trial of war in 1967 should be enough evidence for the IGBO to run away from war mongers like ASARI Lets assume the SS AND SE get their wish, start war, win the war and start an independent state Whats the Guarantee that the SS would not betray the IGBO and cut themselves out of the UNION, because I don't see the SS let the IGBO near their oil Look at SouthSudan after years of Agitation for separation from the north, they got their wish and started killing their selves over oil and leadership
We should all strive to make this country better rather than divide it because their is no guarantee that the divided units would not continue fighting themselves into further divisions. Its only our oneness has Nigeria that's holding us together like a glue and we need to make the glue stronger.
God Bless Nigeria My man is not your business, why are u taking panadol for them. The fact remains that Nigeria is supposed to be a great nation if there is peace unity, love anf equality amongst the various nationalities that constitute this nation, but since these things are not there, there is bound to be agitation from ethnic nationalities that felt shortchanged by the nigerian state. Do u know that bornu state alone has more military barracks than the whole of south south, Do u know that there is no federal research institute in the whole of south east. Do u know that no south easterners has been made minister of works before. Why some people can take this, some prefer to die because of these obvious discrmination in nigeria. |

koladebrainiac: so if you go to South Africa as business man,and you pay taxes, because you pay your taxes, you will now start claiming Lord over the indigenes? Or because igbos are many in ghana who do good business and pay their taxes now means they can claim lordship over political environment in the land?
See,we value Igbos input in Lagos, their business sense and success are highly recognized! Samething for hausas who in sabo market scattered all over lagos. But it doesn't mean igbo should now start to pgetting agitated on our political issues- that naturally will trigger hate or resentment among the Yoruba- as far as west is concern, yorubas are the real owner of the land- we have obas, baale, land owners who are yoruba and they are not igbo. Igbo should recognize and respect yoruba here . That's what we are saying- saying no man land or igbo will be governor of lagos or igbo will decides the political environment of lagos can bring resentment from yoruba- Yoruba are politically wise-we know what we want when it comes to politics. We are very calculative and objective when it comes with voting- Igbo can not bring in their sentimental voting here it and spoil our vision for good governance- go to Ekiti-they know what they want-they want Fayose, even me as a yoruba does not understand why they are still clinching to Fayose- and I respect them for that. So please-nobody says you should not do your business in lagos.we all need each other that's what we call it unity-
PS- you claiming niger delta owns the oil,and feed nigeria? Yes I agreed, but what are the Niger deltans have be eating before oil boom? Who has been feeding them since?whose money used in building their pre-oil boom government institutions? Please enough pf it. We all need each other it as simple as that. Yoruba will never claim land ownership on niger delta or seeking for political relevant in their land. So dig it U are an animal, u don't deserve to live. It is ur type that are causing trouble in south africa. Igbo this and igbo that, edioot. I am neither igbo or niger deltan. |
