Very insightful observations.

USAID gives America that soft power which gives them entry into the third world especially now that China and Russia are slowly encroaching on their turf where they traditionally held sway eg. Ethiopia, Niger.

[b]Ghana beyond aid [/b]has nothing to do with it. The countries with the most aids are either fighting wars, conflicts, or diseases. Ghana have naturally very peaceful people and so would hardly instigate conflicts.

But I do think the supposed effect from the removal of these U.S fundings especially from countries like Naija and SA are over-exaggerated.

In Nigeria these fundings go to corrupt individuals and there’s good evidence (especially from our chief of defence staff) to believe they fuel the insecurity as their activities have been suspicious for years.
In South Africa, the HIV funding from America doesn’t make up more than 17% of the entire funds used by S.A.

I think countries like Dr Congo, Mali, Bfaso, Niger, Sudan and Ethiopia are in more trouble from this and the AU must do something about this.

Tell me why Trump would or even should care about any third world country?? He shouldn't even care about other developed countries. He was elected to serve American interests not some black mofos who cant run their affairs. He just stopped the funding of the Kenyan mission to Haiti. The money that comes to Nigeria through USAID is used to control Nigeria so that you can never become free. You'd be surprised how much of the so-called USAID money ends up in the hands of Boko Haram and the Niger Delta terrorists and finances banditry and their preferred candidates in elections including your current president who I said few days back is a former drug Lord turned CIA mole. What USAID does so well is not the violence it ferments but the psychological tinkering of your brain. Trump is indirectly telling African presidents, you collect enough to depend on yourself. USAID was just promoting corruption and thievery. I dont expect you to connect the dots but eventually you'll come to it. Many countries stopped funding their own HIV programs and left it to USAID. Why would any sane country do that? The leaders of these countries have been looting such healthcare money. But then again useful idiots are too hungry for food to see the big picture. Take a good look at the image below and tell me whether the endless aid to these countries has helped them or has there been more and more chaos.
