Luzebox:Mr Man , rice is the most stable Nigeria food and by my assumption over 190 million Nigerian consume it every day . Benin inbord rice may likely assume more than 70 percent of this Consumption rate . Markudi in Benue state will not be able to that . Let's forgets frozen cheaken and ground oil . Benin doesn't depends on Nigeria for food supply , it is the older way . You have lock border , Benin hasn't stop paying civil servant , guess who are affected. Your best guess is as good as mine |
Kazikazi:maybe he is on fresh Gh gold from hohoe |
Luzebox:You are an idiot , Nigeria are the one complaining the worse effect not beninoire. The way Benin goods has become more expensive for average nigerians. You guys can't do visiting Benin for cars , livestock's , groundnut oil, rice etc. So tell me who is influencing who |
GeneralDae:An average poor beninoire bought from black market because Nigeria illegal buisness men are it available ( that should be the right word ) why well to do and govt official maintain buying from legal filling station in Benin republic. It is more modest and country friendly to buy from legal filling station of their country , they will empower their country by doing so. Unfortunately , the incident affect nigerians buisness men more. It is nigerians who largely run the infamous business of black market in Benin , it is the same nigerians who profit more by opening fillings station close to the border line . The consequence is visible in Nigeria now. I don't need to talk much. Nigeria imported large volumes of fuel and this previously saved Benin from importing as much from Algeria and sourcing for scarce dollars to meet their total consumption. Now they have to do that, coupled with the likely inflation and the slowdown of their informal economy.Nigerians and her problem , Benin has just gotten one of her headache solve thru Tinubu. The economy now will be more formal in the oil sector ,the money invite can easily be accounted and allocated for sourcing other ventures. The ultimate goal , Benin govt will not be sharing the fuel market with nigerians illegal busint men. Using dollar to by imported fuel isn't the issue here but getting the turnover quick as possible.. payback method( the quicker , the investment incurred) is more important than profit in this essence |
GeneralDae:Nigerians illegal business men made the business available in Benin republic. Some of your big men open up fuel stations close to the border to augment their black trade . The ones they sold in jerricans and send thru motorcycle into Benin republic. An average beninoire who loves his country and prefer the success of his country surely still buy from fuel station regardless of the cheap fuel available thru Nigerian in Benin republic. Now Tinubu had made the work easier for talon, talon is not going to Eve used forced to let them buy from fuel station . Beninoire will gladly comply |
Luzebox:who complained more now , the beninoire who eat different kind of rice breed and export the cheapest kind of rice breed to Nigeria . Yet his breed is Eve very expensive in Nigeria |
GeneralDae:Hopefully , you are aware Nigeria inflation has jump from its initial figure . Nigeria is currently facing an inflation crisis . You will begin to see the effect in the next 3 to six month depending on how Tinubu can managed it . Benin govt are likely to benefit more from Tinubu subsidy removals , I have given you the clue . People will buy from filling station now instead of the usual Nigeria oil available in black market. Largely this business are even made available by nigerian buisness men . |
GeneralDae:You are dumb like your fellow Nigeria, he hasn't visit Nigeria on at kind of negotiation on either your border closure or your subsidy removal . That is what I ask you , if has visit Nigeria based in above reasons. |
Luzebox:Very dumb excuse, but the rice banned is not Benin republic law yet you are feeling the effect . You must be mad to think I possess your kind of IQ. Whatever laws you passes there only affect nigerians. If it will affect beninoire, it will surely those who originally trade in black market . You banned common rice , and you have been filling the effect for the last time years . |
Luzebox:You are an idiot ? Are you guys in Nigeria ( drivers in particular ) complaining or not for the current subsidy removal , even common rice has refused to drop down from 35 thousand to its original price of 18k when the border was open ?.. You guys think abnormally . You guys are even complaining more than Beninoire |
Go and study whom Talon is . Have you heard him coming to Nigeria since he become president of Benin republic? GeneralDae:I gave you a fact yesterday, Benin republic govt are more likely to benefit from Tinubu announcement. It will forced beninoire to buy from fuel from legal filling station since there will be no black market to trade again. Revenue are likely to increased with more sales therefore increasing employment opportunity for filling station attendee and govt pulse as well |
GeneralDae:it is either you yourself don't know anything or a subjective reader who refuse to acknowledge and be objective in reading from the both sides . Anyway the Trans-border commerce between so called giant of Africa Nigeria and Benin republic are mutually beneficial. One needs one another and stating benin republic will suffer alone only shows how egotistic nature of Nigerians who knows nothing or blind to reason behave . Nigerians traders import all kind of things from grains, tubers, vegetables and livestock from Benin republics to make up for the deficits in Nigeria market, While some manufactured household products and building materials are exported from Nigeria to Benin as well . These trade exchange are very vital to Nigeria economy, infact it can qdetermine the strength of the naira for a longer time. ever since Nigeria had come up with border closure , Nigeria naira has lost value to Benin CFA and there is no assurance it is covering the gap soon. Now you remove subsidy , you are thinking it will affect Benin republic , ( una be mumu) how many beninoire plight that route , Nigeria frequently travel to Benin than vice-versa , more nigerians having petrol filling station across the border route are there simply because of Benin available black market , the market had already hit a blow with the announcement of subsidy removal. You just put more nigerians household into stubborn poverty, Anyway, i agree with (Tinubu on subsidy removal) I only disagree when you think Benin republic will suffer the worse hit. It is your sneeze , therefore it is your cold |
GeneralDae:Bullshit . Yoruba are native to Benin republic , they are not foreigner ( a whole port Novo is for them ) that is ajase, the administrative and seat of govt. Wherever you get you key of agenda is what I don't know , reshuffle of govt can happen anytime. Benin republic is likely to benefit from the subsidy than Nigeria govt , the citizen's will be forced to buy from fuel station instead of black market, therefore increasing tax revenue and increasing job prospects fo the citizen's. It is also to note that Benin republic buys most of her fuel from Algeria . Talon didn't engaged buhari during the border closure , what give you the idea he will engaged Tinubu now for subsidy removal when his govt is more likely to benefit . |
GeneralDae:I am sure you are not aware Ghana had once support Nigeria govt by donating relives materia and cash to IDP camp. Ghana is not walkover country for a nigerians . You guys have been schooled so badly for too long . thinking Ghana is small therefore Nigeria must then be like mecca of ecowas . Well some of you do say you Nigeria csupply Ghana electrity and you will even say it without remorse |
Just40:for the first time in about 20 years , Nigeria will be paying for using Ghana keys on lotto numbers. It is entirely more or less free in Nigeria back then. Imagine it is the other way round, nigerians will have taken it up the street like gas debt case that Ghana is owing them.

vankelvin:A good reason to play along . |
samorobo:no be only colos , na loud you go soon shout. |
Obaaderemi2:this is it
|
samorobo:why we have also choose to counter that with evidence that your country is just about numbers . Nothing more |
samorobo:I hear you , you are hangry |
samorobo:I doubt it . American chooses country to visit , hence the reason Trump didn't travel to africa during his tenure . You must be that important for you to have US visiting you. And not when Obama an historical president choose to ignore Nigeria |
samorobo:Do you an iota idea of international relations |
samorobo:Don't be stupid , you guys are not making sense . Get what |
samorobo:and you think the same issues wasn't the same reason for the minister too. If Nigeria issue were that important like gbajabiamila thought for coming to Ghana, why is the minister not visiting Nigeria directly or summoning Nigeria ambassador in Ghana ? |
samorobo:Your headache bro |
Obaaderemi2:I just gave you this screenshot where alomo says the market recover itself from another market that is more successful than Nigeria . Ghana with its average population is not doing bad with her handful size pocket company . We are only 30 million here . I have given you the screenshot, the company report that the market has been offset in another alternative market ( perhaps more successful ones like the European market where number doesn't determine success. It is more profitable to trade with switzerland of 9 million market size than to trade with Nigeria 200 million population . Nigeria market is big indeed but it is not successful |
Obaaderemi2:Apart from Nigeria , the hausa you hear from other west africa are not native language , it is spoken by community of traders who have found those country hospitable enough to settle . And hear this, it is broken hausa , the hausa has been influence by the native language. |
Obaaderemi2:can it be worse more than this ..... Ghana alomo 2 million dollar market was recover in an alternative market benin and Togo.... Just read the screenshot
|
ItooWorWor:Yet you send a whole delegate to come beg Ghanaian govt when your shop was under lock |
Obaaderemi2:That is tangible president. it is really a big deal. We have Obama who becomes a usa president on historic record . Such man should have visited Nigeria simply because Nigeria is the largest black country with more citizens in american. Comparing to other Africa state. If you value international relations and know what is all about , then you will value the worth of such historic visit .and anyway another power usa powerful delegate has visit Ghana recently , that is perosi and usa vice president . That is a whole lot |
GeneralDae:Ghana remain an alternative market . You already have your town saturated with plenty of traders |
Obaaderemi2:mtchew , I was thinking you will come up with lapses where the money expected from Ghana had been reduced |
