They don't know that the number of political and economic pressure groups in Ghana alone can make the United States government pee in its pants everyday. They all criticize every single government policy,announcement, statements, daily press conference,interviews, etc etc.They always put tremendous pressure on the government and institutions that the government has to respond back at their backlash and analysis.

Occupy Ghana alone headed by the formidable Lawyer Ace Ankomah and his team makes the government sweat everyday.They sue the government and institutions all the time and currently has won a massive case against The Auditor General's Department at the supreme court.

Imani Ghana is the craziest of them all.Franklin Cuddjoe and his group of great economic and law experts caused the downfall of the former government together with Alliance For Accountable Government (AFAG) always on the toes of government. GUTA will make the government paralysed,they force the government to scrap some taxes on port duties. Kwesi Pratt Junior of the New Crusading Guide and Kwaku Baako Junior who trained Anas ,"Africa's number one investigative journalist "will not let you have peace.IDEG will suppress every move.

There are over 100 pressure groups in Ghana with great experts and minds and you the government can not afford to bring out fake statistics. You will be disgraced totally.These groups do their own investigations,write to all independent statistics bodies, various embassies,etc just to expose and keep the government of the day in check.The opposition party has not even stepped in yet.Professor Gyampo who was recently interdicted was another torn in the flesh of governments.

The information minister organizes a press conference everyday to account for everything the government does everyday.The kind of checks and balances in Ghana far supersede any country in Africa.And there's 100% freedom and right to say anything anywhere against the government and the law courts will always back you up.Remember when Martin Amity making a citizen vigilante case against Woyome who was in power then at both the supreme court and high court who all ruled in the favour of Martin Amidu and ordered Woyome to refund every single penny of the contract money.

i wonder if this people don't follow news . our media are one of the finnest in Africa. we are African best according to 2018 report in terms of freedom of speech.

Though our media house is not financially supported like the rest of them but the kind of technical skills and intellect of our journalist is unmatched in Africa.... the record is there for them to read.

Don't compare Gh with an extended province of Beijing. Go check our macro and micro economy growth based on factual statistics.... Go check our employment rate based on objective record .Go check on social development goals agenda per UNO record .

We Africans, especially our Western bros have a habit of conmanship and make believe. That's been my real life experience confirmed by this thread! I actually advocated for Gh to float their massive 50 bn $ century bond they first spoke of last year. To build and develop all their infrastructure , the GDP growth ebablers based on a superficial analysis of their fake stats!
I WAS CONNED! THEY KNOW IT TOO. Anyway as things stand chances are way higher we can take that route based on our REAL STATS! We shouldn't lie and denigrate each other do to pride in falsity.

But to change your narrative, Ghana is not an authoritarian country, we have independent thinker that will burst any fake lies from goverment ( IMAN) is an example , they are non biased and respect no political party... hardly can Ghana fake its growth. it almost impossible. our export growth will easily expose us , our inflation rate can also expose us . we are having our inflation under serious control.

Ghana may be small but it has taken some gaint initiative first before majority of Africa country, we are the first post-colonial country to gain independence and the first African country to hold multi-party elections by universal suffrage. Ghana is the first trully democratic state in Africa , we are true African democracy. our election system is one of the best in the continent ....our news media channel easily predict winner even before the election commission released result.... both the scores gap and the winner

The Afro Barometer’s Africa Index 2019 attested that Ghana have recorded exceptional advances in fighting corruption. we can't doctor statistics.. .it will be very impossible. we even cancelled the 190 million dollar aid program from the USA just to save Ghanaian heritage that is worth over 3 billion dollars ( ECG) we are kicking against aid , that is the president motto . Ghana beyond aid which UNO body have adopt as a slogan for africa development . which they practically nickname as Africa beyond aid.


we will not roll out any so billion dollar bond if our parliamentarian and our independent body found it to be detrimental to Ghanaian future . we kick against 200 million dollar for building new parliamentary chamber . so we can easily kick against anything that can harm our economy and our future....

just a nobody from the youth wing shouted on the parliamentarian when the notion of passing the 200 million dollar parliament chamber was raised in the parliament. we aren't fake , we can easily spot fake economic growth. Ghana and the rest of east Africa aren't on the same gap not even current impressive performance of ruwanda can match it.

you've forgotten that the Chinese vice premier and the Barbados prime minister was also in Ghana this very week.And that the 2 billion dollars sinohydro loan has been realeased for road construction. China also cancelled some debts owned them by Ghana

bro,don't bother yourself to show anything to anyone to prove anything. We don't have to prove anything to anyone that we're better than them cos it's a fact and if they doubt it,they can check the stats.We have no safari and we don't engage in sex tourism buh we sure have gold and vision with progress amidst our struggles for a developed nation and betterment of Black Africa as a whole.

An average Ghanaian lives far better than an average Nigerian,Kenyan or Tanzanian. Everyone on this thread hating on a blessed nation such as Ghana is a mad person.I don't tolerate hatred .And we don't even know if Kenya or Tanzania exists over here in Ghana. We don't give a f**k about them.I always say I have nothing buh respect for all these African nations regardless of their struggles except maybe Nigeria whom we knew from Adam buh that respect doesn't mean they disrespect us back.We won't take that.

We fought our whole history against imperialists for centuries regardless of our small population so I don't even see these eastern african mountain climbers as a threat.
