tylann:Almost every sector, but Ghana aim was initially focus on health sector. Never knew the Goverment have a plan for the agric sector too |
So it is not only the health sector, agriculture sector is also benefiting. : Ghana deploys drones in farming Ghana has begun the use of drone technologies in farming as it takes steps to digitize and revolutionize its agricultural sector. The Amdrone Tech drones are being used in precision farm spraying and in crop diagnostics respectively. Currently, according to Managing Director of Qualitrace, Kenneth Nelson, the drones are being designed in Germany. He noted that there are plans to set up an assembling plant in Ghana for the drones. tylann: lol.In all honesty, i don't like the idea of using natural resources to create wealth. But if push comes to shoves, i will employ an expert on it, they will be the best people to give a clear verdict. And if the verdict does not favour the water bodies and the enviroment , i will drop the agenda for the sake of unborn generation unless the economical importance outweigh the ecological destruction. After all , Singapore water is renewable. Though expensive. |
tylann:This is true, but i think people are really going against it demonstration from both local and international organization . People have express their rejection about it. Infact it is a home to some of the last species of certain butterfly , birds and monkey. |
tylann:The atewa forest is very rich in mineral resources. It contain lots of gold and bauxite. |
tylann:lolllll What do you choose water or bauxite. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5SmKOuepDo |
Atewa forest ( home to several species of birds, monkey and butterfly that are very rare to see anywhere. Infact they have gone into extinction in many part of the world. Ghana Goverment is been forced to make this place an eco park instead of mining area.
|
tylann:so many factor, political interest (i.e) opposition party will always disagree , ecological factor which i think make sense. Though the Goverment had made interest not to temper with Atewa forest which probably house the single highest amount of bauxite in Ghana. They intend to choose other two other location. The very high index of biodiversity in Atewa forest make it a thing of environmental concern , the presence of many endemic species, source of major rivers and several other species known from nowhere else in Ghana, like the last species of white nabbed magabe monkey and some several butterfly and birds that are not available elsewhere.likewise the pan-African rarity status of many of the species present in the Atewa Forest combine to indicate that its conservation importance is of the highest priority that the area should not be subject to development of any kind. |
tylann:The whole package is 19 billion dollar from diffrence source in China, the two billion dollar which is part of the 19 billion dollar is a deal from a construction firm in china. So at a later stage, bauxite refinary will be built in Ghana within the span of three years. This alone could made Ghana become a powerful country in the world if Goverment get the priority right. The bauxite refined product is expected to rake in 1. 5 trillion dollar and create about 2.3 million job. From valco company themselves. Though there is ecological challenges to this prospect
|
tylann:It is not a loan but trade by barter. |
tylann:valco is 100 percent goverment company |
tylann:in exchange of aluminium proceeds from bauxite resources. GHANA has an aluminium company and is intending to build ANOTHER one |
Just30:Is the project not part of the 15 billion dollar arrangement.. where bauxite are going to be exchange? The process aluminium from valco right? |
donkizzydaboss:You think Ghana is sleeping. Just type on your Google tap: current infrastructure in Ghana. Ghana needs to spend at least 1.5 billion dollar annually to close its infrastructure deficit, do you know how much Nigeria needs. This is to tell you how much Nigeria needs to go. |
jaycent:what are you saying? So citizens SHOULD not criticize their Goverment? |
samorobo:This is not the best way to debate. In every political sphere, there is always an opposition. They will never support what the other party do. Beside what is wrong in taking a loan from china to have this project done. Abuja rail was constructed by china MONEY and so is lagos current project. The good thing about the project is, Ghana is not paying back in cash but with resources worth 2 billion dollars. |
Just30:suame itself is a municipal district. |

All the cars i show you are made in Ghana Kantaka even manufacture robots |
samorobo:it is industrial village where artisans are working and learning automobile work. The artisans make a breakthru by building the vehicle. The industrial village is fully owned by Ghanaians |
samorobo:Yes.... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kantanka_cars |
samorobo:now check kantaka cars, the Goverment of Ghana are even using it. Kantaka cars
|
samorobo:the car is built by artisans in the industrial park. You don't actually read it. |
samorobo:lol. You didn't actually read it well. Suame is a name of the place in Ghana where the industrials park was established. The park is called suame magazine |
samorobo:Dont you read the Wikipedia report i sent to you. Lol https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suame_Magazine |
samorobo:You request for evidence, i have posted it. Now it is picture. While i am doing that Google kantaka motors. This is smart turtle 1 and some others.
|
samorobo:https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suame_Magazine,_Kumasi#SMATI_Turtle_1 That is Ghana made (land of the warriors) have you try to check the meaning of Ghana. .it means warrior kings. |
jaycent:Buhari had done well. But mbape and mabushi need urgent development. Mbape is even closed to maitama second most developed part of abuja after Azokoro. ABUJA IS SITTING IN THE MIDST OF SLUM |
samorobo:Have you hear of smart turtule 1? And many electric cars model from the land of the warriors |
samorobo:kubwa , kpaduma has a lot of slums . Pls spare me... remove Azokoro from Abuja. You will see almost Everything willl be a sad story. |
Some country don't make noise. Ruwanda President appoint Ghananian millionaire Chairperson to key gov’t institution Founder and CEO, Africa Leadership Academy, Ghanaian-born Fred Swaniker has joined the pool of other global CEOs who advise President Kagame. The 43-year-old who believes many of Africa’s problems boil down to lack of good leadership, and hopes to develop Africa’s own Steve Jobs, has been appointed by President Kagame as chairperson for Rwanda Convention Bureau (RCB), a strategic business unit of Rwanda Development Board’s Tourism and Conservation Department. RCB is tasked with milking every little from the global tourism market, specifically targeting Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE), a strategy Rwanda believes will create value in the tourism sector, the country’s largest foreign exchange earner, fetching an annual average of about $500 million. This is an area that is playing an important role in Rwanda’s growth, bringing in 15% of all tourism revenue. The MICE tourism contributed $52million in 2018, from $47million in 2017 with aim to increase it to $88 million in 2019. Kagame brings the successful Ghanaian mogul on board as chairperson of board of directors with hope that his global business acumen will add value and help push the country’s agenda of generating more revenues from tourism. The development comes at a time when Rwanda has just signed a promotional deal with Arsenal Football Club to advertise Rwanda under “Visit Rwanda” project as a touristic destination and a country ripe for green investment opportunities.
