samorobo: A bit about the ghana's trending investment so I can properly google it out Volkswagen is open up his business in Ghana . One of the largest technological company ""Google"" just open up. It is now cheaper to import cars from Ghana port than anywhere in west Africa. The Goverment of Ghana cut off the tariff at 50 percent early this month which means there will be more inflow of commodity thru ghana. One of the largest shipping line had gotten a signatory with Ghana harbour and about to use Ghana as its west Africa base. Etc. Technologically, the shipping line in Ghana is more attractive than anywhere in west africa. |

theenchanter: there's no much difference between price of oil in 2018 and now, do u really know what u're talking about when you study oil price and stability, common sense will tell you this year is more stable and realistic. Are you really following the trend? |

theenchanter: so, why's FDI now over 100% in Nigeria in comparison with last year? 2.5 million barrels of oil a day is pumping at 70 dollars unlike the 2018 price which scared away investors , but it still does not make it more attractive than what is currently happening in Ghana. |

samorobo: Ghana received more than Nigeria due to nigeria's recession. We have held that tittle for long as one the countries on the continent with the highest fdi. GHANA needs to be wary of us because I don't see ghana stealing that position in 2020 owing to the massive investment our govt Is putting in just type the trending investment in Ghana in 2020. Only Egypt can do it sincerely again. NIGERIA is not in reccestion in 2018. |

You can do the litmus test., i have given the explanation earlier. Try and check what is happening in Ghana now. |

We need visionary leaders like Nana Addo, Kagame and Ouattara – Aliko Dangote
Africa’s richest man and owner of the Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote has showered praise on the presidents of Ghana, Rwanda and Ivory Coast.
Speaking at the forum organized by Africa Center for Economic Transformation (ACET), the businessman referred to them as ‘visionary leaders’ and are the kind of persons African countries need.
He also mentioned that all Africa needs is about 20 presidents out of a total of 54 who possess these qualities and are capable of moving Africa to the next level.
ACET @AcetforAfrica “We do not need to have all 54 countries to have visionary leaders. What we need is a maximum of 20 of the likes of the presidents of #Ghana, #Rwanda and Côte d’Ivoire.” – @AlikoDangote 72 9:35 AM - Apr 15, 2019 Twitter Ads info and privacy 61 people are talking about this

tylann: Some posts ranks countries by number of tourists received per year others by the revenues Even if you follow a lay man approach, assuming you have been to both Accra and lagos. You will easily notice Ghana is more cosmopolitan than Nigeria. In GHANA, the Americans and the British and other westerners used the public transport , low housing unit, engage in buying food from the road side instead of the usual hotels or the eye glowing area you will find them in Nigeria. It is nearly impossible for you to see a westerners in Nigeria public transport. |

samorobo: Vaxx I don't know about how much nigeria raked from tourism but it sure did raked alot compared to Ghana going by tylann post. I am sure you know that they are various forms of tourism e.g business tourism, leisure tourism, entertainment tourism. When you talk of business and entertainment tourism nigeria is there and it knows how to pull millions of people from all over the world.A perfect example would be calabar festival, lagos marathon, lagos boat regatta, lagos festival but when you talk of leisure ghana might be ahead but in standard of hotels nigeria is ahead. Let me even tell you that there is a 7 star hotel currently under construction in lagos which would be the first in africa. What matter is that at the end of the day we get this visitors and siphon their money when you don't know, don't talk about it. What i gave is a Wikipedia and cbnc report. More realistic on the topic. The fact that Ghana earn more on foreing direct investment than Nigeria in 2018 should give you a clue. |

AskiaHarem: [s]As stated before "Nigeria does have many tourist spots and events that Nigerians themeselves mostly participate in. It's just they realized they have far more important sectors to develop rather than focusing on creating exclusive closed off paradises for Oyibos". In Nigeria they focus facilities built for the population not hotels for foreigners[/s]. only a fool will underate the potential capacity of tourism. Europe is a success story. |

samorobo: Tylann from your post it was said that nigeria is ranked second largest tourism economy in sub Saharan with kenya coming third place. Wow I must say I am surprised. BUT I wonder why kenyans and ghanians keep insulting our tourism sector when we rake more and equally received more visitors than you guys. I am sure you have heard ghanians calling their tourism sector the most lucrative in west africa, this is a clear indication that their claims are false. Nigeria those have alot potentials in the tourism but as of now it is under developed. So ask yourself if these sector is truly explored what impact would it make on our economy?Infact every state here has at least one tourism potentials.Do you know that nigeria still has caves from the stone age era? All we need now is for them to finish their tourism masterplan and implement it so we can rake billions. Stop celibrating mediocre. Even senegal is ahead of Nigeria I will be posting a Wikipedia screenshot below and that of cbnc which stipulate Ghana revenue on tourism and ranking accordingly. I want to know how much does Nigeria generate on tourism

Yeah we use them in gis and remote sensing practicals Toy drones are meant for practical. Real drones can even withstand rough weather, like that of the health sector, it will open up its own cover in form of parachute to cover itself to safety. |
