Its is according to Oil Revenues derived From your State (not volume of oil produced, but oil revenue which depends on type of oil and volume). So also are contributions these states make to NDDC.

While Akwa Ibom has the highest, Bayelsa is actually the place to come from as they have a higher slots to local government ratio.

So the order is Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Delta, Bayelsa, Ondo, Edo, Imo, Abia and Cross River.

last year, the top three had Forty Something, Bayelsa had Twenty Something, and the others between 15 to 10.

All that dis one Na speculation. No one knows what will happen abeg. Let's just keep fingers crossed. N the hell people fussing about 5k. Am more concern about d questions asked n if I made it and people r still talking 5k. Abeg. Because they were giving abi people now think they r entitled to it. Yea, they sent many peeps away cos of choice of courses. For instance, a guy did EEE as his 1st Degree, and had admission to study Agric Engr. In his MSc. He was sent back. All they wanted was peeps choosing courses related to their 1st Degree course.

I wasnt sent away. Just meant either d man is a prof or lecturer in my area. So he was ready. The kind questions e hammer me sha. Those r not fresh anymore to me

i took bus from Lagos yesterday o, Sunday, from Jibowu and there were plenty, chiscco.. all of them. though it cost almost double the normal price. my flight was cancelled so that was my only alternative and i made it and got to ph at midnight and ive done my interview. I dont know how i am getting back to lagos though but i will Get back in one piece by Gods grace. heard the strike has been called off though, dont know how true

I think all the new invitees were moved. Like they don't want interview to reach June. Plus not everybody is on nairalnad so there definitely will b people moved from 30 to 29. Just show up u will see others

What I mean is that the probability they ask you something you will read in this short timeframe is less than 1%. Say u read engineering 5 years, they could a question from any area in ur 5 years study, or even after the five years...as long as they feel u should know the answer.

the way they asked entropy and achemedes principle shock catch me for that test.

Well I have had my interview. Like has been said earlier get all ur documents set with photocopies of each of them. All the documents required are listed in the text invite for the interview. If u don't have a first leaving school certificate (for people like me that didn't attend primary school,lol) then go with ur birth certificate and waec- they cover for the flsc. Errhm...dress well. Both ladies and guys. Heard dressing counts. Peps had to borrow jacket and ties sef. So carry ur own. The current affairs questions were really really really random. So were the technical questions too. My thought is that no technical reading will make any difference right now. On the average they seem to ask each applicants three or four questions.
Ehn ehn, the tfare is 5k not ten. I collect am like that sha.
Then based on some document I saw(as a sharp Delta guy) the interview and cbt both contribute to the final score. The interview has more weight tho.
The stuff is really competitive and a lot of things seem to be coincidental. So regardless of how the interview goes, don't loose hope. I no this sounds cliche but a bit of prayer should help.

That is not their issue, it is yours. After they pay the entire 19k to your school, you will need to find the remaining 9.5k before you even get visa.
My advice. Just go for the interview, if you are successful, find another school or even country where the course is cheaper.
How u go take tell ur people say u get scholarship, yet they need to help you raise £9500?. that one don reach to do five MSc for Nigeria.
I also had the same challenge and that is what I did.
geobukky, instead of geophysics, you fit do geoscience, petroleum geoscience or engineering geology, and do your project in something related to geophysics.

so once u can find the remaining money u are OK then? Or will they ask u to change?

All in all, go for your interview, I know of someone who didn't come with nysc cert. n he was able to explain himself through n b interviewed.

if am allowed to? They didn't ask for it during application. They didn't ask for it in text msg they sent....n they won't allow me because of primary school certificate? Looool. Na them sabi. Ofcos I will go n present what I have n play MIMD games with them. Who asks for that sef. Might as well tell me to come with junior waec too...

My guy if you were following this thread from page 29 you will know that this advice does not apply to me. I was just describing how I felt last year. And Yes, I am a current scholar.
Today, my DELTA people starts their own interview. Abeg make una do well con join me.

And truly, I don't know what they told others, but I knew what I was told and it felt so good. Which one be humility after interview. If you did well, go and top it up with prayer, praise and thanksgiving, its faith you need.

oh that explains it. I was wondering y someone this year would sound so confident just after am interview. Meanwhile I noticed u no write IMO that means other states have higher priority abi. Or do u know how many from each state was allocated from last year?

Yes I did.
But more importantly it shows that they only reach a decision concerning you after the interview. If they allocated 24/50 to everybody, then there was no need for the interview, as the outcome will be completely identical to the CBT.

back to your question. Were you congratulated during this current exercise? if no, there were others that weren't congratulated that still got the award.

Congratulations requires a lot of coincidence, some of which are, at least 2:1, Come from Bayesla, Delta, Akwa Ibom or Rivers in that order, have at least 70% in the CBT, have all your documentation, don't bring admission letter to read aerospace engineering, etc. Finally, be lucky to answer all the questions you were asked correctly. Even if na you, you no go congratulate this kind of candidate.

My sister or brother, the congratulations dey sweet wela, almost as sweet as the award.

just dont get overconfident. Na naija we dey. Be humble n know anything can change. I bet u people felt like the way u did when they saw 44/50 during the test n expected to b called for interview only for people with way lower scores to b called first. U don't know what they tell others after their own interviews. So just keep calm n know anything thing is possible. This one there's no score to see n nothing to fight with. I suggest be humble n pray than being over confident. At end of the day it might not be what u think they use to choose. Unless u get Abraham in NDDC then u can be......lol

It was part of the requirements last year when I wrote. Dunno about this year. But if you can get it, try and get it o. I just walked into my primary school and asked for mine last year and to my greatest surprise, it was available. May be u should try urs.

well it wasn't part of what we uploaded while applying and theybdidnt mention it in the text message. I only heard it here. I have everything they asked for. So will leave that out. I don't think it will be that important.

Well thank God the SMS said nothing about that first school leaving certificate. I don't think I ever went bk to my primary school after I left for JS1 I wonder magic I wld av performed to get that.

I would say stick with the job cos the pay is quite solid n the whole UK policy of coming bk after masters. But depends on where u want to be career wise too. It is a huge risk I must say. Talk with family n friends n weigh ur options well. A lot of things come into play when ur making decisions like this. Area of study, school, if ur working in multinational company that has a branch in UK u can apply n try out. I've had friends that came bk others were lucky enough to get jobs. But one recently resigned here but the UK branch called him for interview when he got there for masters n is still in recruitment process. I also know people that left came bk are doing customer service jobs n regretted ever leaving. So ask a lot questions and research online too

So if person get 2:2, no need bother go the interview?

Why did they invite 2.2 holders in the first place?

just go for the interview n present urself. Forget hearsay. Sell urself Na market u dey go. They invited 2.2 so they will consider everybody. No one knows what criteria they will use. Don't be discouraged. Just go there with confidence. Two people that I knw got last year had 2.2 n they didn't fall from heaven. Just remain focused

the last time I checked someone confirmed its 5k. Another said u should know ur course well in and out. Another said u should knw currrebt affairs and that questions r based on their mood. Someome else said u should b bold n not shake n should dress smart n make sure u greet when u enter. Now let me ask u. What else do u want people to talk about. U do realise dis is the interview stage n u expect people to come here n tell exactly what they were asked so u automatically have an edge over them? To me enough have been said. Anyone looking for any other thing wants expo. Someone confirmed that nddc knows what is going on here n u still expect people to come n give u expo. We don't even know what put some of us in dis mess at first place. Could be they follow this page m found out about the whole brainfriend saga n had to scramble to change up the questions n in the process disorganised themselves to. Enough has been said about interview. If u are looking for expo them try n DM people n beg them for their questions. Just 200 slots avaible for 3000 applicants n u still expect people to be dumb.
