There may be some element of truth in what Ellacity and doncharlso have been saying because I was chatting with a friend of mine this morning and he told me he received his invite last week and he sounded very sure and serious, though I told him I would come see the text today, so as soon as I do that I would let you guys know whats up. This country is bleeped up. Am just new here.

Enough of this friend of mine....haba. This era of smart phones that u have to go ucfriends house to see a text msg....pls if u don't av anything reasonable to say please keep quiet n don't make urself look foolish.

Why would you share your questions? to allow the person do better than you? I was not even in support of the one who posted the CBT questions either. Posting the invite is completely different, all your doing is passing information, all tests have been conducted, you cannot gate crash and demand the award, you cannot steal the award either so hiding the details achieves what exactly?

there is nothing to post. That date time and venue have not been set. U cannot tell me u got an invite on the 5th if June and this is 16th of June almost 2 weeks and u have not attended the briefing. Either d guy na pure scam or na special candidate that never had any test or interview. The way things are, the former might b d case

I have no problem with u being a special candidate. My problem wit u is coming here acting like u got it the normal process, which u did not. This means there is no date yet for any briefing just that yeah u scaled through being a special candidate. Which is fine but don't make others feel like they didn't make it while in fact they still have a chamce. U are not playing with kids here. well u have shadiness written all over u. First of all if u received an invited and other people have not u should be worried. Worried in d sense that people that have links to nddc have come here and said there are no invites yet. Now people asked OK...when did this happen what was the invite like. U said nothing. U ignored everything. They asked u oya paste what was sent to u. U refused. U did not paste claiming security reason! What lame excuse. During d invite for test n interview people were posting their invites time date scores. So if there was any foul play u will quickly point it out in case u want to be scammed. But everybody's story was consistentbwit dates of interview n test. Now 5th of June u create ur account from nowhere n claim to have received an invite. Now u were asked questions u didn't say anything. What was ur teat score. Nothing. Venue nothing. U claimed the sms was from Nddc. People from last year cried foul that text normally from weird number. U kept quiet. All u stood by was u received an invite. Now the only reason something likenthat would happen is DAT u are one of the special candidates that never had test or interviewed but will still get d scholarship which we knw there will n many like DAT. Probably u were asked to keep everything confidential. But let me tell anyone that truly went through stress of test n interview would gladly share what he or she heard so DAT u know u are on the right page wit others and not being scammed. Period. So I were u I would be worried DAT i got "invite" and after 2 weeks no else had mentioned anything. Bro ask questions u hear. Unless it a special candidate then u are good. N don't tell me crap about batches......that is scam.

I am not attacking anyone. But for him to say this is a joke shouldn't be a joke. This is how rumours start n spread. " oh Nddc has done that done this..." People should knw when not to cross the line. Plus this us what he does. Create havoc on threads for what reason? I mean the only reason there were batches in first place cos tests and interviews were conducted on different dates! N there were thousands of d invites to be sent. So to send out 220 SMS for a briefing to be held one day at same venue n time there will be batches too!!!! People should use their brains...stop being gullible!

I have categorically stated herein that I was invited and some people will soon receive their invitation and yet you are still doubting it. Any ways keep your hope high so that you will be among the batch they are inviting now. I put a call across to the merg guy and he said that they are sending second batch text. Good luck to the people that are receiving theirs now. We will see soon in the briefing.

ESSO actually gives preference to Geosciences(especially Geophysics), it's even stated in the advert.

funny thing about that account is that he was speaking Shakespear when he started now he can't even complete a clear statement. Plus he already set himself for "oh I got the text before you" scenario when they officially start inviting others. He claims to have met nairaland people during interview and discussed "about their comments" on nairaland. Yet not one of this nairalander he claims to have discussed with has been mentioned. No date no venue has been mentioned. Of all the people u discussed with on interview day from nairaland u r the only one that got text without date n venue. Dude if I were u I will be worried. Congrats either way.

Visa application time is very close, too much delay and this year won't be feasible again till maybe Sept 2016 intake.

If u really want to go this year. Plans should be made for u to go regardless. What if what happened last year happens again? When results came very late around November? So one should have a plan B in place..... Even plan C...there's no guarantee that any of us would get it either way

Until normal people that have been on this forum start receiving I am not going to buy any of those claim. Not from people that just created their profiles on 5th of June and just want create confusion.....People stand ur ground! End is near. Do not be mislead. If the next person claiming invite doesn't give details then just keep quiet and go to ur briefing alone.......Congratulations

For the avoidance of doubted, The statement I made with respect to briefing was contained in the last statement of my conclusive syllogism. I have made it categorically clear and its seems people don't understand. Note also that the last set of people that were invited for the interview were originally not invited until they complained. That's why they weren't given the 5k because they were not part of the budget and there chances is so slim.

For the briefing, just wait a while if you have not received yours, it will soon come, we are always too forward in concluding the inevitable evidence.

This one also created his profile yesterday just like the that claims to have received invite. This is definitely time people will be mislead.....

I don't have a problem with slots and all that. Let it not affect people on merit that's all. Create more allocation instead of replacing peeps. Like last 210 were awarded. Probably that extra 10 came from slots. As far the 200 were not touched......
