Buharis nepotistic stand cannot be said to have worked well for his administration afterall. This lends credence to the fact that loyalty has no geographical location.
Let's hope Buhari has learnt a lesson. |

Butterflyleo: This is what Saraki should have done the moment he switched to the minority party. But being the thief and diabolical soul he is, he chose to contravene the law and expected everyone to accept it like that. Good one from Akpabio. No impunity from him Scripts playing out well so far, provoking a pre-2015 nostalgia. This is the kind of drama and intrigues that we expected to unfold immediately after the unholy ascendancy of Saraki at the Senate. Why didn't we have an Oshiomole at the helms of APC all this while? Oyegun's docility and treachery, not Saraki's betrayal, was the greatest undoing of APC. The former birthed the latter. |

Avedonn: APC are indeed smart because this is a simple plan work. They advised Buhari to travel out to enable them execute their plan because if Buhari were to be in Nigeria, people will start calling him military dictator. So the best thing is to travel out and allow Osinbanjo execute the plan. Nobody will blame Buhari for this because he's not in charge that was the plan. Akpabio knows this will happen hence he's defection. The culprits are Tinubu, Osho and the sanate majority leader. They planned all this. Smart move APC. This operation is long overdue. Oyegun has been a waste... unless he's been in the Saraki/Atiku camp all this while. |

Saraki will eventually move with all his loyalists to the pdp, so why wait 4 him to do that before reorganizing the party? The best time to dissolve that saraki led kwara Apc leadership is now,so that by the time he's moving with his loyalists to the pdp,the new kwara Apc led by lai Mohammed and co would've fully stabilized for the battle ahead. This smartness and proactivity is what has been lacking under Buhari administration, this has been the bane of his regime, making many of his initial supporters (myself included) to become his critics. Though I can't say if I'll support him again. But let's see what happens. |

Miracle center is the answer Stop rationalizing the decline of education in the SW. SW leaders failed to build on the legacies of Awolowo. What you have now are stooges of the sokoto caliphate. I was a teacher for some years and currently a senior waec examiner. The best students in a class are always Igbos. Even Igbos come up tops in SW schools. When you read through the attendance and Mark Sheet of any SW schools, the candidates that score the highest marks are always either Igbos, or SS origins. Read my old posts, you'll know that I'm not pro igbo. |

I'm surprised You lots have been silenced. So Easily. Kanu, the most prominent Igbo leader, has obviously been killed by one trigger-happy soldier of the Fulani ethnic militia. His wife, parents and other family members are nowhere to be found. They have obviously suffered the same fate. Yet none of your political and traditional leaders even dared to talk. Not even the youths. Is there a better definition of cowardice? |

Yeah...PDP muscled Edo APC into defeat with the force of the military, connivance of the police, and the instrumentality of federal might. We were all living witnesses. I am not saying that Buhari has done enough to win Edo hearts and minds (actually, I want Oshomole to betray that patron of Islamic terror herdsmen by making sure bubu loses the presidential ticket. This will be for the good of the country and party), but 2019 is sure gonna be a different ball game. |

Abaribe and Shehu Sani are the other two- bright men with youthful vigor. Presidential materials. Meanwhile Remi Tinubu is confused. Don't be too sure. Parliamentary government will be a disaster for Nigeria democracy. Granted, monies will be saved by reducing the cost of government but much more will be lost through corruption and a watered-down legislative oversight. |
