Yet they live with you peacefully... I'm a Proud Muslim and I'm not a terrorist It's only a matter of time. All muslims are potential terrorists. |

kunleeko: not only that, they blatantly refused to honor the adedavoh woman who died in a bid to prevent the Ebola guy from returning to calabar. Btw, national honors were dished out a few days after she died, criminals like slams were honored in that event. I weep for Nigeria. Patriotism and professionalism are not honored, but mediocity and criminality are. Thanks for the reminder. Lemme add it up there. |

Much as i condemn the government neglect of our past heroes, these sportsmen and entertainers earn much money during their prime and when alive. They should invest wisely and build legacies that will outlive them. Not waiting for government bailout from their challenges after retirement, & monuments after death. |

OREMUSSANCTUS: I blame Buhari for dat, assuming we got a ministre of sport by now, he wld ve issued a statement on behalf . Buhari is a slowpoke! MUMUSSANCTUS! Jonathan and his SportsMinisters did absolutely nothing to honour the memory of late Samuel Okwaraji throughout their 6year reign of looting. Also, what did Jonathan and his HealthMinister do to honour Dr Adadevoh for sacrificing her life to fight Ebola? |

Do they ever make arrest in the north like they do in the south? The cause of neglect is because Police job is less lucrative up there. An officer that makes at least 20k daily will not use that as an office. |

DDoubleUps: THis is the same man that our new VP decided to go and celebrate his election victory with, forgeting what he did in darfur and the image that fellows him You obviously dont know that Nigeria govt, thru GEJ also extended an invitation to the same Bashir for the Buhari Inauguration. This is strictly diplomacy...and Nigeria still maintain cordial diplomatic ties with Sudan. |

natas22: That's why Nigeria is a safe haven for thief's/murderers during Charles Taylor issue obj took him. I commend the SA government on that, the blood of innocent souls that died wants justice. OBJ took Charles Taylor in to restore peace to the war-torn county. He also handed Taylor over to the Liberian govt, which later sent him to the Hague to face war crime charges. Obasanjo displayed a high level of diplomacy and commitment to peace building. |

doctokwus: Can't be done.South Africa cannot hand over Bashir. The repercussions would be felt all over. Bashir committed war crimes, but it would be left for a subsequent Sudanese govt to repatriate him or not, not to a foreign govt he was allowed to set foot on.Its like kidnapping a foreign president,it's not done. My thoughts exactly. Omar al-Bashir is a war criminal who must face justice, but the Sudanese leader was in South Africa on a diplomatic ticket and mission. Arresting him wil be the most irresponsible act of any government. Even the USA have failed to arrest the Iranian leader on there soil on several occasion. |
