Actually, you don't. The only right you have is to look and walk away. Quietly. Someone selling their own property has the right to set their price. Whether it is too high or too low is not your business. If you can afford it, you buy; if you can't afford it, you walk. An attempt to publicly badmouth the item and its owner is an invitation to trouble. You called this a marketplace, right? Do you know what happens to such people in a real marketplace? THEY GET SUED. Try this experiment: Write up a really nasty article about the pricing, performance, fuel economy etc of Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon or Lexus LX 570 and make it go viral. Really viral. Like, continental-level viral. Better if you can sound it global. If you fail to make it seriously viral, you might be lucky. They'd see it but might ignore you. But if you manage to gain serious traction with your negative publicity stunt, get ready to lose your house, your stove, and your chickens. Their lawyers will descend upon you faster than gravity. There's a clear line between FREE SPEECH and LIBEL. Know the difference and stay safe (don't forget the younger sister of Libel called Slander). 'Nuff said. numen: |

So she still went ahead with the bresss enlargement thing. She was nowhere near this big last time we met. Or was it childbirth? Unlikely. |

nurey:They only started getting it right from 2012 model years. |
nurey:INVECS III is Mitsubishi's proprietary gimmick layered upon the base gearbox. The base gearbox is designed by Jatco; the same company supplies Nissan (majority owner) and a host of other automakers with CVT gearboxes. And I believe you are well aware of the Murano fiasco. Several class action lawsuits have been filed by consumers in the United States against automakers specifically about their failing CVTs. The core of the problem had to do with a poorly designed bearing in the belly of the gearbox, which was not properly designed to handle loads above a certain typical magnitude, causing it to fail early. It can't be repaired, only replaced. And the replacement is expensive, so expensive that Nissan actually lowered the price of CVTs to help lessen the plight of stranded owners, and also opened a temporary customer service mechanism for resolving the issue! A TSB was issued, for certain. Jatco itself even saw a drop in market valuation, stemming from the market turmoil their transmissions were embroiled in. They only started to get it right after 2012 model year vehicles. So, vehicles before 2012 using a Jatco supplied CVT are best avoided. There's a lot of literature on this issue on the Net. Feel free to read more. Have you ever wondered why Toyota was noticeably slower to introduce CVTs in its lineups, compared to other automakers? Toyota gets its CVTs from another supplier called Aisin (owned by Toyota itself); the company also supplies several automakers with gearboxes. There have been comparatively fewer controversies over Aisin CVTs. On power delivery, there's a good reason CVTs are rarely, if ever, paired with V6, or bigger, engines. CVTs are predominantly married to 4-cylinders, while V6 options are sold with "regular" automatic trannies. So, you're right about that. GAZZUZZ:@GAZZUZ, thanks for dropping by. The guy no understand say selling price depends more on individual vehicle condition than on some "market average" that gives no consideration to owners' personal maintenance culture. You cannot value / price a used car until you've seen it in person. |
nurey:I'd recommend the V6 engine, rather than the 4-cylinder. The V6 comes with a regular automatic transmission, but the 4 cylinder comes with a CVT, which is known to be problematic (actually problematic). |

firstolalekan:The owner has the right to price their property anyhow they wish. It is not your business to tell them what price they should sell their property. If you want a new car, find your way to VI or Ikeja. BTW, @OP, are you sure this Matrix is 2008? This body shape is 2009+ |
