Rapmaestro:You mean NEPA? No worry, Bubu is already working on that. ![]() |
adamawa:Exactly what I was thinking. I cannot call a dealer just to know the price of his vehicle. If you can't drop the number here, no need looking further. |
Please call. |
Sprumbaba:Here's something that you should know. An intellectually mature person would never type this much insult in one post. Only an immature mind driven by grief and low self-esteem goes full throttle on insults. A few words of advice for you: - Find a good job for yourself this recession. - Earn some money for yourself. - Feed well. - Dress well. - Make new friends. - Live well. - Even get yourself a nice little car to pad up your self esteem and moisten your ego. I also know a bunch of clinical psychologists, in case you need the services of one (*in case*). Happier, better living does wonders for the human mind: sanity restoration, self pride, public decorum amongst others. Let me know if you need my help with any of these. Cheers. PS: If only your dad knew... he would have aborted (for the ones behind). Too bad he didn't.

Please call if you have this car for sale. |
amanikondo:If you paid attention, you would have noticed that I refrained from using personal insults in all my comments and replies to you. One more time I tell you: mind the way you talk to your father's mate, if you really wish to see old age yourself. Edit: you are about to receive a certain message from "somebody". |
bomis2014:Is this car still available? |
amanikondo:Small minds insult their father's mate. |
gidis1stson:Do you still have this Outlander available? Let me know ASAP. Thanks. |
amanikondo:Wait, are you directing me to a movie by an American, telling the "untold story" of America? I already know what to expect. But here's my response to you in a famous African quote: "Until the lions get their own historian, the tale of the hunt will always glorify the hunter." So tell me a story, NOT written by an American and I just might consider taking a read. |
amanikondo:You are even funnier than I thought. Well, most of the appliances in my bedroom right now are either "Made in China" or they bear logos from Japan or Korea. Samsung, Panasonic, Sony and even my Toyota. My map tells me that China and Japan and Korea are EAST of the meridien. Hardly Western. |
amanikondo:WRONG. "Western technology" is hardly "Western". Example, did you know that the Russians invented the satellite that is allowing you to comment here on Nairaland? First satellite = Sputnik 1. Western education... Western technology... Western dressing... It's all just in the name. The "Eastern" world have just as much to do with the technology you're using, as do the West. And, just so you know, Russia is actually "Western" in civilisation. Go read up about the relationship between Russia and Europe. Historically, Russia has far more in common with Germany and France, than these two countries have with America. |
amanikondo:FALSE. America did not "reconstruct Germany and Japan" after World War II, as you claimed. Those countries rebuilt themselves using their own hands, their own effort, and with funds delivered to them by America, and every last cent of that money they received under the Marshall Plan was paid back in full, with interest. Besides, the Marshall Plan was more of a business move than a "friendship" move. WW2 destroyed most of the industrialised world, except America, which was totally untouched (save for Pearl Harbour). So it was a natural business decision to loan Europe and Japan money to rebuild their countries, and guess who they bought their supplies from? America! The American economy boomed in the aftermath of WW2, fuelled strongly by demand from Europe and Japan for all sorts of goods. US factories could barely keep up with the demand. And that's how America grew its economy into the giant it became. The Marshall Plan benefited America far more than it did Europe and Japan. Look at Iraq and Afghanistan today. They were destroyed by American bombs. Now guess which country's construction companies won almost all the reconstruction contracts? America! Have they started fixing Libya yet? |
Still needed. Contact me ASAP. |
Provide photos of the 2007 Outlander, please. Interior plus engine bay. |
buffalowings:Syria was INDEED a democracy. A flawed one, just like Nigeria, or Zimbabwe, or Malawi, but still a democracy. They had regional and national elections in Syria, and even had one during the war. Syria is (was) more democratic than Zimbabwe or even Nigeria. "Elections" is a word you will hardly hear in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar or the Emirates. And these are the same countries trying to deliver democracy and freedom to Syrians. |
kidman96:And today, Allepo has "fallen", aye? That's the same F word CNN and the MSM used to describe the liberation of Aleppo, so long as that liberation did not come via American bombs. How's the liberation of Libya from Gaddafi going so far? I guess Libyans are enjoying their new found freedom at last. Russians don't know about "moderate terrorists" or "moderate fighters". "If it looks like a terrorist, if it walks like a terrorist, and fights like a terrorist, IT IS A TERRORIST." - Sergei Lavrov, Russian Foreign Minister Perfect definition. |
olagold79:You want my sources? You said: "I live near Russia, I had Turkish, Syrians and thousands of Russians as acquaintances. I have first hand info..." Sorry mate, "first hand info" comes from someone who actually lives INSIDE Syria and heard fighter jets overhead dropping bombs and firing missiles. From the quoted above, you most likely live in Chechnya. Hardly a place to have "first hand info". You came at my comment with so much certainty like you knew or had any idea who I was. I owe you no explanation. Again, I never tried to make Russia look like a saint. Truth is, "Russia" is a saint, as far as wars and foreign destruction go. But, then again, how can a country be a saint? I. thought sainthood was for PEOPLE? Now, Obama vs. Putin, who is the saint in Syria? History itself is already answering that question for you and I. And it certainly isn't the American! You mentioned the Assad family being in power for 45 years. Are you aware that the House of Saud has been in power in Saudi Arabia for 500+ years? And the one in Bahrain has been in power for 300+ years. The Bahraini leadership is an even smaller minority compared to the Syrian leadership. Bahrain is a predominantly Shia country, but ruled by a tiny Sunni minority...for 300 years. The opposite of Syria! But can you compare 45 years in a country (Syria) that actually holds government elections to 300 or 500 years in a country (Bahrain / Saudi) that doesn't even have a voter's register, where women are not allowed even to drive a car? You want to talk to me about facts and "first hand info". Try again later. |
ThatIgboBoy:...and Saudi Arabia is a democracy? And Bahrain? And the UAE. Mind you, there were also Arab Spring uprisings in those countries, as there was in Syria. Were there any changes in these countries? Any new constitution? Any democratic reforms? People and journalists were imprisoned just for tweeting "freedom" in Saudi Arabia. A flawed democracy is still a democracy. Syria is / was a democracy, a deeply flawed one, but a democracy nonetheless. They hold elections. Regional and general elections. Try that in Saudi Arabia and see yourself in a windowless prison. |
kennyhydee:You seem to be feeding on too much CNN served with Al Jazeera, and washed down with BBC. Here's what is certainly, definitely, absolutely sure about Syria. 1) It was the most liberal and prosperous Arab country in the Middle East. 2) 40% of the population is Syria is/was Christian, and Syrian Christians enjoyed the most secure environment in all of the Arab world. 3) The countries openly sponsoring and arming rebels against Assad to provide "freedom" are definitions of dictatorships themselves: Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and UAE. 4) Syria is / was a democracy but none of these countries mentioned above is a democracy, and they none has any intentions of becoming a democracy in the near future. 5) US and NATO "freedom" delivered to Libya, Iraq and Afghanistan have transformed those countries into paradises. So they really want to bring paradise to Syria, too. Look, regardless of which news source you choose to believe, one last thing is sure: SYRIA WAS BETTER OFF FIVE YEARS AGO THAN IT CAN EVER BE IN THE NEXT 100 YEARS. The scale of the destruction is such that will require a century just to rebuild infrastructure to pre-war levels. And if not for Russia's intervention, Syria would have been bombed into oblivion by "America and the Gang". Syrians set out to protest / remove a dictator in 2011, but ended up totally destroying their country. That's FREEDOM...dropped from the sky...from America planes...with love. I thank God for Russia. Without RUSSIA, this world would become a playground for the warmongering "Freedom Bringers" from the West. But Russia can't do it all alone. The Chinese are not ready to weigh in, despite suffering their own antagonism from the West. The Indians are too busy sitting on the fence. Ever wondered why they keep imposing sanctions on Russia for no just reason? Putin is badly spoiling their plans. America and Europe are very angry with Russia because of this. |
lofty900:Your ignorance is audible from Venus. The "headquarters" of the so-called Islamic State is Raqqa, not Aleppo. Aleppo is significant because, before the war, it was the 2nd largest city in Syria, after Damascus. And it is (was) under rebel control, not even ISIS control. |
And still waiting. |
I'm not an auto/parts dealer. Have no engine for sale. Just curious, what happened to the current engine? No hope for a repair (engine rebuild)? Had a 2007 Civic that crashed it's valves. Timing chain slipped. Pistons smashed into valves (you know, interference engine, bla bla bla). Bent 8 out of 16 valves. Damaged piston rings. Would not even crank AT ALL (expectedly). Engine was rebuilt and she moved again. Just saying... You might want to try an engine rebuild. Find a very good Mech. Most Mechs are not capable of rebuilding an engine, hence they quickly suggest changing it once presented with the challenge. Again, I don't know what's wrong with your engine, don't know its history, or what efforts you might have put in already up till this point. Just saying its worth the try. They'll tell you it's NOT worth it - that you should replace it - mainly because they can't do it and get it right. Google "Honda Accord 2008 V6 engine rebuild." Interesting info available to show you that it is, indeed, possible (and cheaper). IF the right hands handle it. Good luck. |
Still here... waiting |
CHECK the transmission (gear box) very well, especially the fluid (first clue). The transmission fluid for the Murano gearbox is very, very specific because it is a CVT. Any attempt to use anything else (e.g. ATF) is sure to kill the gearbox. And it is very expensive to find and replace. Costs up to N400,000 or more. A cheap Murano is a definitely a Murano with a failing or failed CVT transmission. That's the MAIN problem with the Murano. |
Waiting... |
Dereformer:I would suggest you go for the Toyota Matrix (same 03-05), instead. The Matrix is based on the Corolla (same engine, almost identical parts), but you WILL appreciate the difference on the road. Matrix is sportier, looks better, larger, same fuel economy (the FWD version), and, perhaps best of all, you DON'T SEE IT 200 TIMES A DAY on the road. Oh, I hate Corolla for that reason. ![]() Bonus: the Matrix also comes in 4WD option, with its advantages. PHOTOS BELOW: Matrix vs. Corolla (same model year)
