It is well oh.
Make I climb mountain go meet pastor bee.
Hmmm !! Who tell you say I dey mountain? ... being there since last week, in fact out of my break time, I'm typing from the mountain right now.
Joke aside, I always spend like first 3 weeks of every year on the mountain. Anointing and spiritual protection is not cheap.

But the companies have been coming out to deny it.
BUA denied the rumour, that EFCC never raid their office.
Everything will die down soon.

i cant wait for the merger as well but a bug question on on my mind is, DOES DANGOTE ACTUALLY PRODUCE RICE?

i have never seen any rice with that brand anywhere in the past 3 years. I hope that is not the cause of the delay from SEC
I really wonder what's delaying the merger ... See as I tied up my funds there ... missing many opportunities undecided

Thank you but i am being curious here; if the market news is close, isn't it suppose to lead to higher demand and price increase?
Some folks may not want their capital tied down during the suspension period.

BTW, who knows how long the suspension should be, ... up to a month?

I thought in that direction too. ... don't you think that he may like to beat rabiu with the refinery, thereby delaying the food merging? BTW, I still want to know the value of dangrice

Looks more like this......but Providus is not doing badly too.

That was how an "unknown" Titan Trust came from nowhere to swallow a whole Union Bank of over 100yrs. grin

We are still watching what Providus is up to........could be that they're picking higher stakes in UNITY to shore up their capital base...
As it stands now, I don't think any Nigeria bank is at the risk of going down, as regards the recapitalization

Advise

Find a new stockbroking firm to move your account there as NISL is inactive and the owner is late. It is very simple. To do that

1. Identify a new house
2. Get your CSCS statement
3. Get indemnity letter from bank to CSCS
4. Get either of share purchase contract note from NISL in the past or any dividend warrants u have collected in the past
5. Means of Identification
6. Utility bill
7. Passport photograph
8. Written letter address to CSCS of your intention to move to the new house

Get all these and give to your new stockbroker to process with CSCS on your behalf. If CSCS is satisfied with your documentations, your account shall be moved to the new house

You are helpful

Agree with you. The highest I have made since I entered the NSE/NGX in 2001 is 320% (under 6 months though). I can only hold to a stock for a long time if the fundamentals are quite encouraging.
...
I remember I was with Amyn Investment then
... is well. But some things that raised my eye brow over unitybnk is that it's the bank that has the lowest OS in the exchange and their last post reconstruction price was N5. Ceteris paribus, that bank should be above N5

How do you guys want to make money when you panic and sell at every gain. Anyways some people sold Ucap at N3 grin

Have you even bothered to ask what price Providus will buy Unity bank and what will be the value of the new bank compared to your purchase price?

I guess by next week...people will still queue up at N2.50k grin grin grin

Goodluck to everyone.

Big thank you @customstreet. I was able to get 2m units of Unity Bank @ 1.07 on Thursday due to your call last week. I sold this morning @185k.

Amount invested - N2,140,000.
Amount realized - N3,700,000.
Amount Gain after deducting charges - N1,500,000 after just one week

I have to sell now because I am a slender person and I don’t have the strength to struggle when the exit door is so narrow grin.
Not bad though ... But, some folks dey cashout 500% for some stocks oo

You are a strong woman.

My average price is less than N20.

I sold half between N62 and N63 and invested in Fixed Income at an average yield of 17%.

I hope to borrow against the Fixed Income Investment to buy more of Dangote Sugar next week or first week of December 2023
what's the capitalization of dangote rice I'm trying to imagine how Aliko will challenge buafoods of N3.6 trillion capitalization

It's old news sha grin

That's the reason for the sudden rally which no one knows when E go end
I didn't post it cause its today's news, it's last week's news. But I posted it to clear sister mercy that the deal between providus and unitybnk is not merger, rather a buying off of major stake

Pastor, you're still in UNITY? smiley
The arrangement is a merger anyway, not buyout

They're buying major stake. And, has gone far with the deal.

Considering their current OS, unity should go back to it's N5 reconstruction price

If Providus buys unitybank anything less than N5, ... they cheated unity, cause unitybank was last listed at N5 after the reconstruction that brought the over bloated UNITYBNK OS to 11billion
