I don't think it's unwise for one to buy this ELLAHLAKES now and wait for where they are taking it to. Those days I was wondering what was moving afriprud and later stared thinking it would come down to my junction, until it moved from 9 to more than 30, and I didn't buy a unit.

A company I bought on 2nd July paid me dividend whereas they closed their register last month. Not just that they paid me, but they paid far more than what they supposed to pay to the number of shares I bought on 2 july

Now, I want to know if anyone here experienced such thing here.

I didn't write to the company or mention their name here to avoid any of the company's staff loosing his or her job.

Finally,. because of my faith, pls advise me on how to restitute the money

I've written this company twice. If they continue to keep calm, then I'll spend the money on charity. I don't take what's not mine

I understand you bro, I know when you asked the newbies to reduce their exposure in weak fundamental stocks and transfer the funds to strong ones. That's very kind of you, not everyone here will do such thing.

Besides, stock market is highly risky globally, even the ones that are sound today were once weak years back, and can still return to weakness and even be deleted from the mkt like Savannah bank, etc, while those that are weak today can still be sound in the coming years, like nahco, etc, and may still go down in coming years.

So, the mkt is all about timing and spreading your eggs in many baskets as you do. I really wonder the yardstick some people use to measure and conclude that a weak stock today can't be strong and vice versa. I think it's all about making money from each side and returning it to the other.

Please ignore the children and move on, with time, they'll still mature. Personally, I've learned a lot from your concept of stock market approach. It really marvels me that you are almost in all the stock in our local exchange. With this approach it only takes the going down of Nigeria, for you to go down. Please I need to learn more sir

ELLAHLAKES is looking promising and from the look of things, it's likely attracting foreign investors, especially since it's in Agric Sector.
Quite a lot of funds are both entering and earmarked for the sector.
All things being equal, I don't really see ELLAHLAKES slowing down anytime soon.....
The rate the shares are being grabbed is high.
I won't advice anyone to panic sell so quickly, let's see where they're taking it to.......
After all, the whole OS is 3.85Bn

The error may be from the formular in the software or spreadsheet that was used by them, and a general one.
It is better you call their attention so they can rectify and avoid further complications

Very rare for Registrars to make such mistakes.
Could be a backlog of your previous dividends paid.
Did you just settle E-Dividend form issue?
If not, the best bet is to first do some background checks on the company's stock purchases in the past and dividends paid
Then, you can contact the Registrar's customer care

No, i didn't do anything with edividend of resent. Ok, but I don't want them to question or disengage the staff who made the mistake

Send mail to the registrar. It's a mistake from them which will be discovered by their auditor and they will still get back their money through other dividends of yours with them

I've not written them cause I don't want the company to fire who made the mistake.

If they'll still recover the money in the future, then there is no need of worrying about restitution

Ellah is not moved by traders.Its moved by the hands behind the rights issue. They will move it to their target price. If you know how to play the game, you will surely benefit, if not them go carry your money go.

When it comes to the future of Ellah, I see it as a target for the bigger players.

What you said may not be far from the truth. What every wise market trader or investor should do now is to strategize how to benefit from movement of those moving elllah. Cause I doubt if they'll alow the stock price go down

Some of you guys are right that ELLAHLAKES is currently not having good numbers, but what you can't conclude is their future. Did you know that the company was having a capitalization of less than 13bllion few months ago, but it's now at 22billion. My brother, the young shall grow I beg. Especially, now that the nation is focusing on agric development.

Besides, when sentiment favours any stock, anything can happen. Oando is a typical example, you know for sure that it wasn't good numbers that moved oando from N5 to almost N100 last year, and hovering around N60 now. Hope you know that ELLAHLAKES has not experienced any bull since the regime of buhari. Now that the market has remember it, no one can say for sure, like oando, where it's heading to. ELLAHLAKES has crossed all time highs with great strength. According my experience in this market for almost 30yrs, Ellah is heading to new support and resistance.

Lastly, no single stock on ngx is crashing this year. I pains me each time I remember that my 5million on oando would have at least worth over 60million now. This time, I go make am for Ellah. By the way , agric companies hardly make loses cause the hardly import or engage in much expenses

The mistake I made in Chams is advertising a stock of low revenue. I learnt a new lesson from Heisime about low profit margin.

If a stock can generate a higher revenue and make a loss,it's understandable.Something must cause the loss like the case of Dangote sugar and international Brew.When they get it right,the share price will rise.

I am sorry I have made a u-turn in Chams for now.The shares outstanding has risen to above 7B and we are yet to witness a higher revenue let alone a high profit margin.All the businesses they handle is by contracts.They are left with peanuts when the superiors collect their lion shares.Nothing is left for shareholders to enjoy.

I have chams and I am not planning to offload now because the bull is about to touch some stocks.it might be opportune to move up as ASI is expected to hit 130,000 by year end.A time we are expecting market men and women to have interest in stocks is drawing closer but not in 2025.

Mr president is fighting re election in 2027.I will not be surprise to see ASI touch 150k during election campaigns in 2026.

Sure say your mistake for this mkt don finish? Your big problem is that you always talk as if you are the the market.
