NDDC. I just visited the records and you are right. The appropriate figures are N25150+N1450+N1000.

Uwc. Nd dat N1500 was fr Bed Allocation Fee (we had to pay this b4 applying fr d space)nd d 1k was fr Hall Week. Evrybody who got hostel space in any hostel in UNIBEN had to pay fr those 2.

With all due respect senior colleague, that is very wrong. We didnt pay 3k exta for maintenance fee. I think its already part of d 25k. The price will only increase if dey decide to increase d hostel fee as evrything is increasing now in 9ja.... Did u stay in NDDC or Clinical hostel last year?

Nah. D calendar will be just fine. Remembr we resumed properly ending of Novembr last year? This is d way normal Nigerian Fed Uni calendars shud be. 3mnths break btwn sessions. October was d resumption mnth way back.

You knw, there are polite ways of disagreeing with ppl. If u notice, the ppl that used to give advice are withdrawing because of how u guys rudely descend on them.... Lol. I didnt say he was wrong nah. I said we should watch. I dont even knw wat UNIBEN plans to do sef. There are things one would like to say in this thread, but if we talk na nd UNIBEN changes their mind, some ppl here will start calling you fowl. .... Lets just watch. Nd note that deres a difference btwn using JAMB nd WAEC aggregates AND knocking ppl out because of wrong WAEC results (this is always done evn after gaining admission)....

You're kinda right. Notwithstanding, uniben haven't asserted the sole use of jamb scores for admission.



This so called screening is not being used to select students, though. I make this assertion because, contrary to what we thought initially, the 'so called screening' wasn't an interview. It was just a result confirming excercise. The only students screened out where those with incorrect/incomplete O' level results. At least, for the first batch.

There's a probable chance that uniben may use an aggregate of O' level and jamb scores.

I get. Im quite introvertive too, but I dnt like d distance. Nd in my dept, d closer u are to ur course mates, d better fr you. Besides, my hostel is neat, quiet nd conducive.

Updates On Today's Screening
Based On Different Departments
Some were asked random questions
relating to their fields like what's ur
course all about...what does it
involve,,why do you want to study this course..etc
Some were asked to just submit their
invitation slips, acknowledgement slips,
and result checking cards
Some were asked to provide their JAMB
and WAEC/NECO Results Some were asked to provide their birth
certificate...
Some candidates screening lasted for
about 5 mins...others 10mins or More
Some were asked to provide their LG of
Origin certificate Some candidates were not able to do
their screening today...were told to come
back on Saturday.....
Pls Note: Not everybody had exactly the
same screening..some were asked
questions, others were not and not everybody were asked to provide those
extra documents.....but ill advise you go
with all documents listed above...just to
be on the safe side....
