The score will hopefully be fine fr Merit or at least 2nd batch. Things are tough this year. Heard dey lost accreditation for Anatomy and Pharmacy too.

Most likely. Been hearing that the merit cutoff mark for Med is 300/312. A good number of applicants got above 300.

I stand to be corrected but I believe that those date are quite wrong nd confusing. If Uniben is to resume 15/8/2016 meaning this month is resumption date. I doubt if true.

That is actually what is one the official calendar. Last year it was 3rd of Sept, then 5th of October fr new students but they resumed some time in November. Now hearing there wont be Post UME again. No time for that anymore. Dat Merit list will be out on the 15th. Cant say sha. U guys should jst be at alert.

For all those who have prospective candidates seeking admission into Uniben for various courses,advice ur wards,friends n d likes dat points will no longer b used and dere will be return to d former system and as such, Uniben will be conducting post ume,modalities will be announced soon......so advice dem to be studying and not relaxing in anticipation for post ume conducted by Uniben...... From a reliable source.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has withdrawn the 2016 admission list it forwarded to different Nigerian Universities. This was disclosed in a statement by the body's spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin released today July 31st. Part of the statement reads
“This is to ensure that the University Senate perform its statutory responsibility of conducting the selection of candidates and refer it to JAMB for confirmation in line with the admission criteria of merit, catchment and educationally disadvantaged states as directed by the Hon Minister of Education at the policy committee meeting,”
The earlier list was sent to help fast track the process of admission so as to allow other tiers of institutions also conduct their admission. Candidates should not panic because this is part of the process of the 2016 admission exercise. JAMB regrets any inconvenience this decision would have caused the tertiary institutions. The board regrets any inconvenience it’s proactive step would have caused the tertiary institutions.”
