DeBuddingSummer: It was on record that Hausa guys were on their way in lorries with goats and cows heading to Fagba when the road was blocked by miscreants. Then their cows and goats started dying because of too much heat. They fired the first shot to save their livestock and all hell broke loose.
Many died in Fagba. They killed Hausa people like goats there. Those OPC guys are terrible. All the livestock of those Hausa guys were stolen in broad daylight by miscreants in Fagba and Abule Egba. People were just carrying goats anyhow.
Very horrible things are happening in this country.
Can God save NIGERIA?
So I'm trying to understand you..
Are you saying that...their livestock is now more important than human lives lost in the hands of police brutality – to d point that they had d guts to attack people in their own land?
Were their businesses d only ones on standstill due to d protests?
Pls call a spade a spade.
These fulani pple are notorious for attacking and Killin pple blindly ....
Imagine d nonsense reason they had for burning pple’s homes in fagba.
Ur cows died...so d best tin is to kill protesters?
After all, dese protesters are d ones who buy dose der dirty cows dey commit bestiality with.
Fulani are unfit to live with Southerners..cos anywhere dey thread, destruction is set to follow..
That was how they said they should ban St Louis sugar because it didn't have vitamin A... Where as, d company drew the eye and vit A der on their carton.
Imagine Namma saying that...as if he knows what vitamin A is... Just because he is producing sugar.
They drove anapurna salt out of the market when he started selling salt.
He wants to b producing everything...datz how he nd govt chased away Eagle cement and ibeto. Bloody parasitic thieves.
The Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello has declared that he is volunteering to be the leader of the #EndSARS protest rocking the country.
While protesting that the Special Anti-Robbery squad (SARS) be scrapped, the demonstrators have reiterated a number of times that they have no leader and do not want one.
However, on Monday, via a broadcast on AIT channel, Yahaya Bello announced that he wants to be the leader of the #EndSARS Protesters.
The declaration has sparked outrage on social media, as Nigerians have vehemently refused to endorse him. According to them, they have no leader and never will.
DeltaFire: AKK GAS PIPELINE TO TAKE GAS FROM NIGER DELTA TO AREWA – LET’S STOP IT!
[i]In 2017 Buhari signed a deal with Chinese to build the Ajaokuta-Abuja-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) gas pipeline.
President Buhari is determined to take it forward. It’s another signature project on which the name “Buhari” will be written in gold, to be remembered long after he leaves Aso Rock.
As for you... I know for a fact that every morning when Yu wake up, you come on nairaland and open multiple threads deriling and mocking Nnamdi Kanu – who saw all dese things coming...and asked for the Niger Delta to join hands in fighting for secession.
Now please.. humour me.. since u are sooo against biafra and MNK...how do u pple intend to stop d north alone?
Lemme quickly remind you dat...if it is protest...it won't work.
They have all d money.... gotten from ur oil ofcos. They have d military and every oda major office in Nigeria...is headed by d fulani.
tamdun: And there is the reason why Nigerians will keep hating u people, I know u dream of Yoruba all ur life omo yiboh
Oga go nd sit down. Wat are Igbo using ur dirty love to do? Has ur hatred removed one strand of hair from der heads?
You people dat nigerians love so much...we have seen ur progress na... Zamfara are digging dere gold nd keeping d profits....whereas, Chinese people nd ur fulani govt is packing u pple’s gold in Osun, and still using u ppl as manpower to steal d gold.
What I'm trying to say here is...it's high time everyone stop ds tribal wars on threads, and face d real problem.
The fulani foreigners have taken advantage of ds division and are robbing the whole South of der heritage.
Ds foreigners are now number 1 citizens in ur country.
kilonshele101: Compare those who SARS have killed to those who dies at home every day due to lack of access to health care or those the dies everyday in the hospital due to lack of adequate equipment especially pregnant women, or how many hours you wait in every hospital federal, state and private, before being called into the consulting room.
SARS killed many people but Mention anyone close to you that SARS have killed, and compare it to the number of c pregnant women close to you That died.
SARS and every other security agencies are guilty of intimidation and the government offer the reform of SARS, but illogical people like you don't understand that if SARS was scrap and another agency was created maybe with a posh name this time and the agency is similar to SARS both in structure and function without a reform then those ones started their own, maybe then you will understand the importance of reform they are talking about. Police =SARS, they are same people with same training, the same thing SARS was doing is still the same time every other police will do if same structure is still in place without a reform in the structure. Are you saying that police should not response to any robbery case again? Of course they will but the structure should not allow them to do other function. When a police killed a black man as usual in america did they start #EndNYPD protest. They stood against the main problem, which is police brutality. But you people have phd in Priority Misplacement, your brother is even more concern on "live press conference"
You making sense. Buh den, what is the solution?
Cause people are tired...me, I'm tired. Hence the reason for these protests.
Somebody will just rise up all of a sudden... come on nairaland and start spewing trash.
So you feel the owner of the forum is not doing enough...go and create ur own forum na, where ur own rules can apply.
Don't come here to start telling the man how to run the forum...you have no clue how he started.
Wat u don't like about the forum, most people like them.
Go nd sit down some where jare.
Arcamax: I will begin by thanking you for for this wonderful platform that has helped give Nigeria a voice. It is a very laudable achievement as Nairaland has been a source of news, entertainment and education over the years. I have been a member of Nairaland since 2005 and I've owned a few monikers over the years. However my reason for this letter isn't only to acknowledge your contributions to the society but also to allay some fears and reservations about some increasingly disturbing trends on Nairaland lately.
My apologies to anyone who might feel offended by the issues I'll raise but some things have to be said. Nairaland started off well as a place where we were all proud to gather and acquire/disseminate knowledge and information but lately I'm sorry to say that Nairaland is fast going to the dogs.
Any foreigner who visits the site for the first time will have no other impression about Nigerians other than that we are deeply divided and fight like animals. It is the sad truth. This is partly owing to the type of threads that are permissible and vituperations and aspersions cast on each other by opposing tribes and ethnicities. This is part of what motivates other countries to abuse Nigerians because they sense that we are divided. I think certain ground rules can be established as the current rules on this site are mostly ineffectual and rarely implemented.
I don't see why you'll pin a thread discouraging secession on politics section front page but allow folks to hurl tribal and ethnic slurs against each other. I don't see why free for all ethnic banters are allowed and encouraged by moving such to the front page. Of all the social media platforms we use in Nigeria, Nairaland is the most powerful at promoting and encouraging ethnic divides and antagonism but maybe you Seun, are yet to realize that.
On twitter, everybody acts woke, on facebook, everybody is showing off what they don't actually have. On instagram, some hustle and some show off. On LIB, bellanaija etc, folks just want juicy gossip. On Nairaland, it's a jungle where free for all fights are encouraged. The days where superior arguments and serious intellectual discourse reigned supreme on Nairaland are long gone. It has fast become the wild wild west of the African cyberspace and every form of stupidity and unruly behaviour is welcome.
If you went to an american site or Rwandan site and saw the kind of content one usually sees on Nairaland, what opinion would you form about the country?
This site is helping to promote disunity and entrenching it upon the younger generation as a huge chunk of nairaland's present membership is under 25 years. Some of these kids have a street comraderie with friends from other tribes but when they come on Nairaland, it's time to voice out all forms of vituperations against tribes to which some of their best friends belong to all because of the anonymity which the internet holds. Anonymity shouldn't be an excuse for folks to lose decency. Serious minded folks will only watch events unfold on Nairaland when they can find the time but will not bother to comment. These serious minded folks are the ones who can actually bring investment to Nairaland not the rabble rousers.
Even facebook with billions of users still has strict enforcement of guidelines which are regularly reviewed.
I look forward to the day Nairaland will be acquired partly or wholly by the big techs, but not with the kind of content it presently promotes. Content is key. You need to ask yourself why membership enrollment has dropped drastically despite most of the membership being from individuals with multiple monikers and the site still has way less than 5million members since inception? In a nation of 200+million? Plus other nationalities on the platform?
I enjoin you to kindly revise site rules and it's enforcement to drive quality traffic to your site. I am concerned as one of the early members having taken a long break due to the content and returning to find worse content. The media is a powerful tool that shouldn't be used dangerously.
Thanks for your time as I hope to enjoy a better Nairaland in the coming days.
Yours sincerely,
Arcamax.
Ps: It would be appreciated if any of the mods can push this to the front page. Lalastic lala, I know this is not a snake thread but you can push it to the front page please.
Lol. He is paid to do that. Him and a handful of oda paid z.ombies are alwaaayz online..here on nairaland...ready to oppose any1 dat says anything true about our current situation in d country.
D best tin is to ignore d c.ow
MosheDayan: That was the same dvmb fvck that replied my with gibberish in another thread.
Exactly. But people will still fall for it my brother.. that's just how it is.
So many myopic ppl who are simply looking for what to eat today... forgetting tomorrow...will fall for their gimmicks
saaron: All of a sudden, the fulani savages from futajalon are defending a Southesterner, the very people they HATE with passion as part of Taqiyya to decieve the public that they are in support of Igbo presidency. No doubt fulani cabals ruling buhari's Terrorist regime have perfected plans to install a Corrupt Orji Kalu, perpetual Fulani slave succeed buhari as president come 2023. This explains why Orji was brough out of prison. The regime basically brought him out for use as a bergaining chip and insurance cover to protect their DEVILISH agendas - RUGA & FULANIZATION. Should Kalu tow out of line during his presidency, his fulani lords will use his corrupt past to destroy him. Bloody terrorist. Only a brainless person will fall for this cheap plot. In fact, any Southerner that falls for this pathetic fulani gimmick is nothing but a CAPITAL f.ool! SOUTHERN PRESIDENCY IS NOT THE SOLUTION. OUTRIGHT DISINTEGRATION IS THE SOLUTION!!! OUR COUNTRIES MUST BE FREE OF INJUSTICE, TERRORIST MURDERERS AND ETHNIC SUPREMACIST. DISINTEGRATION OF NIGERIA WILL SAVE MILLIONS OF LIVES FROM STATE SPONSORED TERRORISM! SUPPORT IT.
donaldeke: It has now been learned that the young man that was killed in Delta state, Ughelli, was armed and ready to shoot.
Kemi Olunloyo citing her Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) source says the young man refused to stop when flagged down by men of SARS and instead pulled a guy on them.
It can now be understood that the men of SARS pulled their trigger in self-defense.
The news went viral that the young man was killed and since Nigerians already have a notion when it has to do with SARS ran with the story attracting pity from left right and centre. Yes, a young man was killed and he was criminal.
Judging by the tym and energy you r spending here... Every one who is wise can easily tell that you are working so hard to do ur master’s work online...and failing miserably at it...like ur parents failed you...and like ur failed country.
Biafra will come... whether useful idiots like you...who are tools in d hands of dese foreign futa jalon invaders, like it or not!
When it comes...you can enjoy ur bromance with them in ur one nizooria.
Or better still...hang urself. Nincompoop.
Pple like you can't b saved again...and d ending yu get will b quite befitting for yu.
No need replying sm1 like u with a stale brain... The stench of it is disgusting.
Argue with ur paying oppressors
Osagyefo98: Are you no longer passing head bridge again.
First they rejected Buhari after all said and done, Nigerians have also seen what they saw
They demanded freedom, people were insulting Nnamdi Kanu, now see for yourself
So all along, you guys knew that Yussuf Buratai is Chief of Army Staff in Fulani Republic of Nigeria and you all kept quiet
All along you knew that Buhari regime is Fulani Federal Government and you all kept quiet
All along you knew that Buhari forged his certificate and NEVER graduated from a high school and you all kept quiet
Then Nnamdi Kanu who selflessly dared to stand against this evil contraception as you call it was castigated as if he was wrong!
Now you are all saying the same thing
Then again if the presidential position for 2023 has been handed over to you guys, would you have seen or stood up to these abnormalities or will you still remain quiet
I wonder
Let's not bash them too much. At least they woke up late but all wake na wake.
Beta late than never...
We need to join forces...cause Daz d only way ds damned contraption will ever divide.
Already, more fulani groups are emerging by the day, attacking at will with nobody stopping dem or declaring any state of emergency in the area.
Big Brother Naija lockdown housemate, Nengi has on Thursday, September 24, walked in on fellow housemate, Neo, washing his love interest’s (Vee) undies.
Apparently, Neo and Vee were together, as the former, did the laundry for them both, when Nengi drifted in and saw him in action.
Recall Neo had said on September 9 that he was ready to do anything to have Vee as his girlfriend again.
This was after the duo broke up their relationship for the second time on the show, as they always fought over trivial issues like sharing of food and others.
It's not clear if washing Vee’s panties on national TV is amongst the things, Neo is doing to prove his love for her, but Vee seems pleased enough.
In the video, Vee could be heard telling Neo that “one pant is missing”, and Nengi’s reaction was everything.
“Ah ah! I reserve my comment. Neo! You even wash pant join,” Nengi said.
iskoki: Jokes apart it's boils down to incompetence at all levels of government. Ghana is not much bigger than Lagos in terms of Population. How are they producing more electricity than Nigeria ? The Distance between Lagos and Ghana is almost the same as to Abuja. These people are not from another continent, they're like us, almost same date of independence but with even less natural resources.
My dear. You've said it all.
Tribalism and corruption has killed d country.
Pple who don't even have d least education qualification – even first school leaving certificate – are ruling graduates with PhDs and Masters...so what do we expect?
It's like a blind man leading a man who sees perfectly... It will only end in a pit.
D country is a laughing stock. My friends in the US talk abt how Nigeria has become an object of ridicule and jokes.
iskoki: Nigeria produces less than 5,000 MW. Infact the complain is that Ghana which has almost the same population as some states in Nigeria is producing too much electricity that the govt has to pay for the excess. Is this not enough evidence to tell you that we're governed by cows and goats in Nigeria ?
