Hildalicious:

that is true!
preaching is good, but living your life without preaching is better.
so, if you see people like us not preaching it doesn't mean we are ashamed of Jesus or our faith.
it's just that we want to live the freedom Jesus gave to us ,we want to be free from preaching, going to church, too much prayer, shouting and speaking in tongues ,and enjoy our lives.
let those who want to be free from religion (athiests ) know that we can truly be free in religion.
it takes knowledge and understanding to come to this level of your faith, which is the highest level of spirituality in Christianity.
enjoyment of life is the highest level of spirituality.
speaking in tongues, preaching and going to church is the lowest level. a lot of people don't know.

If the gospel wasn't preached to you or if the missionaries had your mindset, would you have known about it? For all we know we would still be idol worshippers. Showing your faith can be in so many ways; you might see someone going the wrong part and decide to talk to the person.

anybody who is ashamed to associate with Jesus in public isnt really for Him; i.e never know Him for real!
even on social media, most pple would rather share/post pics than talk about their faith and wouldnt like to comment, like or share any post that talk about Jesus.
there is no two way about it, if you love som1, u'll always feel proud to talk about him/her or do what he/she loves....same thing with ur profession; if you are for Jesus Christ, you'll be proud to talk about Him always.
That is exactly what I'm saying. Thanks for the contribution.
@peybuttons I'm a catholic.

Most times it's because some christians aren't sure of their stand with God. They tends to seek for help from other gods if they can't really wait on God for a long time. And if you are not sure of the product that you tasted how will you precribe it to others?!
That seems to be the case atimes.

I'm not , most times i try not to so as not to be seen as one with the holier than thou attitude but my actions and words most times does.

What you have to realise is that when it comes to serving God you don't have to consider what people would think as long as you are doing the right thing.

Many of us do not have to be “sold” on the benefits of avocados—their silky texture and versatile flavor make them hard not to love. But when studies show that avocado-eaters are healthier overall than their counterparts, we feel justified in our love-affair with avocados. And the research may even convince some non-avocado-eaters to cross over to the other side.

Avocados are also considered as one of the healthiest foods in the planet because they contain in excess of 25 essential nutrients, including vitamin A, B, C, E, & K, copper, iron, phosporus, magnesium, and potassium. Avocados also contain fiber, protein, and several beneficial phytochemicals such as beta-sitosterol, glutathione and lutein, which may protect against various disease and illnesses.

Here are 15 health benefits of avocados:

Avocado contains vitamin B6 and folic acid, which help regulate homocysteine levels. High level of homocysteine is associated with an increased risk of heart disease. Avocado also contains vitamin E, glutathione, and monounsaturated fat, which help in maintaining a healthy heart.

Lower cholesterol levels

Avocados are rich in a compound called beta-sitosterol which has been shown to be effective in lowering blood cholesterol levels. According to a study, patients with mild hypercholesterolemia who included avocados in their diet for 7 days had 17 percent decrease in total blood cholesterol levels, a 22 percent decrease in both LDL (bad cholesterol) and triglyceride levels, and a 11 percent increase in HDL (good cholesterol) levels.

Control blood pressure

Avocados are also a great source of potassium, which helps in controlling blood pressure levels.

Anti-Inflammatory properties

Phytonutrient compound found in avocados, such as polyphenols and flavonoids have been found to have anti-inflammatory properties, thereby reducing the risk of inflammatory and degenerative disorders.

Avocado is an excellent source of carotenoid lutein, which known to help protect against age-related macular degeneration and cataracts.

Regulate the blood sugar levels

The monounsaturated (good) fats in avocados can reverse insulin resistance which help to regulate blood sugar levels. Avocados also contain soluble fiber which keep a steady blood sugar levels.

Prevent birth defects

Avocados are rich in folate, a B vitamin commonly known as folic acid. One cup of avocado provides about 23% of the recommended daily value of folate. The high amount of folate in avocado is essential in the prevention of birth defects, such as neural tube defect and spina bifida.

Reduce strokes risk

The high levels of folate in avocados may also protect against stroke. A study has shown that individuals who ate a diet rich in folate had a lower risk of stroke than those who did not

Religion / Why Are We Scared Of Professing Our Faith In Public? by vera031(f): 11:15am On Feb 12, 2015
Most atimes we all get scared of professing our faith. For example:
You see a Catholic who cannot say the grace before meal or make the sign of the cross because he/she is outside.
You see a christain who is afraid to share the gospel either in their place of work or in the bus because they are scared of what people might say.
Most of us eat outside without praying. Why? Are we scared of someone or something? Are we shy because we are christains? Or is it by your grace grace that you are hale and hearthy even after the meal?.

Most people are even ready to renounce their faith when threatened.
Please I need an answer.......... Why are we scared

There are three things that the Devil fears most 1. The name of Jesus 2. The name of Mary 3. The most holy rosary. I love our mother Mary soo much. For all those who do not believe you have your choice to make. The catholic church will continue to remain one and universal.we pray that our Mother will give us the grace to say our rosary daily and honour her more fervently.
