A terrible accident occurred at Aba Road, Abia State at exactly 2:01 pm today. According to an eyewitness, "the car somersaulted 3 times. The drivers brain opened up,although he is still breathing, I don't think he will make it to the hospital..other passengers survived with major injuries...."

An Australian woman was shocked as she discovered a pregnant eastern brown snake underneath her refrigerator.

The snake which was captured by Snake Catchers, Adelaide, realized it was pregnant and cared for it as it laid 14 eggs. The catcher also posted a video of the capture on YouTube after the snake was removed from the home.

"Luckily the lady actually saw the snake's head pop out from under the fridge so she called a snake catcher straight away to remove it," they wrote in a Facebook post. "Otherwise things could have gone a little differently and in a few months she could have walked in to her kitchen with little eastern browns wiggling all over the place!"

Nollywood Actress, Mercy Aigbe was recently unveiled as the brand Ambassador of Dubai Afrika Sickle Cell Project; a project aimed at curbing an increase in the number of sickel cell patients in the country as well provide them with basic amenities for their daily survival.

While making an announcement, she revealed her elder sister died to the sickness and that she knows how it feels to lose a loved one without being able to help.

“Am glad to be doing this with dubaiafrika. I lost my elder sister to Sickle cell and you don’t know what it was like watching her helpless going through all those crisis hmmmmmm! Joy Aigbe continue to R.I.P.”

She warned lovers who are about to settle down to know their genotype before bearing children
