The assumed founder of the embattled Indigenous Peoples of Biafra(IPOB), Retired Justice Eze Ozobu has denounced the hate speeches and incitement to aggression as being portrayed by persons under the guise of Radio Biafra. He denied knowing who Kanu is and what his mission was about.

Speaking with the Rev Obinna Aklukwe, Director General of Igbo MandateCongress (IMC) who sought his views as part of the group’s ongoing consultations with Igbo leaders on how to put an end to hate speeches characterizing the new face of Radio Biafra, Justice EzeOzobu said that he doesn’t even know the person called Nnamdi Kanu.

According to the respected Octogenarian, "I do not know anybody called Nnamdi Kanu. You said that his name is what? how does he look like? I have never asked anybody to use violence or incitement to achieve any means."

Justice Eze Ozobu told Rev Akukwe that, "for two years now I have not had audience with anybody over any matter political, including IPOB, Radio Biafra or any other group, neither do I listen to Radio Biafra." He threatened to take legal actions against anybody who associates him with any hate speech, aggression and unruly activities in any ramifications.

The wife of Justice Eze Ozobu, a retired Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Women Affairs also lashed out at those associating her husband with hate speeches as name droppers.

Osodieme Chief Mrs Eze Ozobu told Rev Akukwe, "IPOB, Radio Biafra or whosoever have not seen my husband for over two years, therefore nobody can claim that he sent them on any mission. They are dropping his name without consulting him”.

Describing her husband as a man of principle and peace ,she sued for peace among the Igbos and advised the aggrieved to do so within the ambit of truth, justice and rule of law.

IPOB had claimed that His Royal Majesty, Retired Justice Eze Ozobu (OFR) was their founder with the designation of Chairman Governing Council of Indigenous Peoples of Biafra with Dr Dozie Ikedife as the Secretary.

Justice Eze Ozobu was the Chief Judge of Enugu State for many years. It is on record that his tenure as President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo was the most transparent. He is a foremost respectable Igbo Jurist whose incorruptible stature is likened to that of his friend, late Justice Chukwudifu Oputa.

Igbo Mandate Congress has condemned the hate speeches associated with Radio Biafra. This was part of the resolutions of the emergency meeting held in Enugu to evaluate the implication of the Indigenous Peoples ofBiafra (IPOB) successful protest march in Onitsha, Asaba, Owerri and Yenegoa on Friday. The group described the hate speeches as contrary to the spirit of Biafra.

Rev Akukwe explained that, "abusing the Hausa, the Fulani, and the Yoruba in thecourse of pursuing Biafra is anti-Christian. Christianity cannot support the dissemination of hate messages against fellow living beings created by God, and nobody chose which tribe to come from. It is God that created all. Anybody or group that wants Biafra should pursue it within the ambit of reasonable processes and international conventions." Clarifying further, Akukwe said that, "since1999 Igbos have occupied positions of Senate Presidency, Deputy Senate Presidency, Party Chairmanship, Secretary to
the Government of Nigeria, and yet the all important Enugu-Onitsha Highway, Enugu-Nsukka Highway from Opi to 9th Mile and Enugu-Port-Harcourt Highway from the Okigwe end are the worst roads in Nigeria due to their selfish representations at the center. While other regions are being developed, South East politicians embezzled their lot and they are now using a people’s aspiration to cover up for crime.

"These political bandits failed to ensure that these roads were repaired from the Obasanjo through to the Jonathan regime, preferring to pursue contracts and appointments. We should blame our corrupt Igbo leadership first for our woes and make them to account for years of selfish superintendent over our destinies before blaming outside accomplices."

Rev Akukwe averred further that, "The Federal Government should release Nnamdi Kanu, and all IPOB protesters with immediate effect. Ben Onwuka of Biafra Zionist Movement and his members languishing in Enugu Prisons and all MASSOB members in detention should be granted amnesty and sent home because many of them are victims of corrupt governance at the center fueled by corrupt and incompetent political representations from the South East."

The Abia State Coordinator of Igbo Mandate Congress and founding Secretary General of Ohanaeze Youths Council , Comrade Chuks Ibegbu in his submissions said that, "we must be careful with these protests in order not to be used by selfish elements because there is not much difference between these agitations and the money making sentiments used by MASSOB leader Uwazurike over the years. Our people must be careful not to bed ragged into another conflict driven by self interests. Security agencies should release the misguided elements that joined the protests due to bandwagon effects."

Ohanaeze Ndigo had also cautioned on the activities of IPOB. The Assistant National Publicity Secretary of Ohanaeze Ndigbo and Co-ordinator of Igbo Ohanaeze Integrity Groups, Barrister Emejulu Okpalaukwu has said that those sponsoring the agitations are Igbo politicians afraid of EFCC prosecution.

Ohanaeze Spokesman told Igbo Mandate Congress members that, "evil minded politicians afraid of prosecution are sponsoring aspects of IPOB protest march.

These people should be cautioned before it is too late. Arrested protesters should be counseled and sent home and the use of force should be discouraged."

One of the 100 most-wanted Boko Haram member has been caught on his attempt to board a flight from Abuja to Lagos on sunday. Chindo Bello was captured by aviation security as he tried to "flee" Abuja, the army said.

The arrest showed the army's decision last month to widely circulate 100 photos of the most-wanted Boko Haram suspects had started to "pay the desired dividends", the army said in a statement.

A Spokesman for the Army said bello is currently facing an interrogation

There was heavy commotion at Rumuokoro roundabout in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area yesterday,Sunday 8 when one of the soldiers guarding the area shot and killed a taxi driver.

It was learnt that the taxi driver identified as Mr. Michael Nweye, was driving against the traffic when the soldier allegedly asked him to stop. An eyewitness told Punch correspondent that the taxi driver tried to reverse to escape from the soldiers before he (Nweye) was shot. It was gathered that some of the taxi and bus drivers were always having their way by driving on the wrong lane after parting with some money. Sources said the errant soldier shot the driver before leaving the vicinity.

The deceased, who was said to be in his early 20s, hailed from Egbeda community in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State. The action of the soldier immediately sparked a protest by commercial drivers, a development that was allegedly hijacked by hoodlums to destroy vehicles around the area.

The victim’s elder brother, Mr. Chinedu Nweye, however, said the military authority at 2 Brigade Command in Rumuokoro, had admitted that one of their men shot the deceased. Chinedu added that a group of soldiers had attempted to rush his brother to the hospital before he died on the way to the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital.

He said, “My brother was shot at the front of Bori Camp gate in Rumuokoro. The soldiers said he was driving against the traffic and they asked him to stop, but he refused. So, while he was reversing to escape, they shot him. “When the soldiers discovered that he was bleeding seriously, they quickly rushed him to the hospital, but on their way to UPTH, my brother died.

The military have pleaded with my family on what happened. But I think that whatever happens, the court will decide.”

Confirming the incident, the Assistant State Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs. Grace Iringe-Koko, described the trigger-happy soldier as unknown, adding that investigation had begun into the matter to arrest the culprit. “It was an unknown soldier that shot the man (taxi driver). We have begun investigation with a view to arresting the person behind the act,” Iringe-Koko said.

A Thomson flight carrying 189 passengers had to dodge a rocket as it approached Sharm El Sheikh, it has been reported. The London Stansted flight was said to have come "within 1,000ft" of the deadly missile and only avoided it after the pilot took evasive action.

It eventually landed safely and the passengers on board were not told about the brush with certain death.

The incident came two months before a Russian airliner crashed after taking off from the Egyptian resort on Saturday killing all 224 on board.

It is thought a bomb planted by terror group Islamic State is the most likely cause of the tragedy prompting the UK to suspend all commercial flights to and from the resort on Wednesday.

The Department for Transport has confirmed the incident involving the British jet which happened on August 23.

A source said: "The first officer was in charge at the time but the pilot was in the cockpit and saw the rocket coming towards the plane.

"He ordered that the flight turn to the left to avoid the rocket, which was about 1,000ft away," reports Mail Online.

It is thought the five members of cabin crew only found out about the incident after landing and were offered the chance to stay the night in Egypt.However they are said to have chosen to head straight back to the UK.

The source added that the missile that nearly struck the Thomson jet was also spotted by another of the carrier’s planes as it approached Sharm El Sheikh.

It is reported they were told the rocket was from an Egyptian military exercise but now think otherwise following Saturday's incident.

A manual labourer in Enugu State has been confirmed dead after he was beaten by a snake when cutting grasses at the State House of Assembly complex on Tuesday. Reports has it that the Assembly complex wanted to cover up the incident but failed.

The Victim who hails from Abakiliki in Ebonyi State, and his colleagues who were brought from “Ogbo Mmanu”,a popular hub for manual labourers in Enugu State, were executing their job when they saw a snake. An eyewitness from the Assembly who chose not to disclose his name said that the workers were executing their jobs when they saw a snake and tried killing it;after several attempts,it was strucked on its head which incurred an inflicting deep cut.

Thinking the snake was dead,the men went back to their work only for the dead snake to attack the victim on his ankle,he raised an alarm which turned their attention, it was then they finally killed the snake.

He was rushed to Parklane General Hospital at Enugu State and was later relocated to a herbal home in Ugwuaji when his condition failed to improve in the hospital. It was in the herbal home he gave up few hours after his arrival.

A Nigerian Pastor based in Kenya with name Pastor Chijioke of Breast and Honey New International Church who sucks women's breast in church as a sign of deliverance has been busted by a female radio DJ,Kate Vobic of Hero Radio, Nakuru, Kenya last week when she called him on phone with a fake name just to get spiritual guidance.

The said pastor moved from Nigeria to Kenya to start his church with the funny name. Here's how the phone call went;

Kate Vobic told the Pastor that her problem is that she can’t seem to get married. Every time she has a man, when things get serious between them, the men run away.

The pastor then tells her that she has the spirit of rejection and he has to suck it out from her breasts in order to get deliverance.
"The spirit lies in the breast of a lady... the more you suck the breast the more you get the fulfilling of the Lord."

The man’s congregation only has women and they are told not to wear bras to make sucking their breasts much easier.

The DJ then asked the pastor if he can tell her where in the bible it says that a pastor must suck a woman’s breasts to heal her.
The pastor refuses to answer and says,

South African police officers who shot a robber to death has been caught and arrested as the act was been caught in a surveillance video.

As seen in the broadcasted video,the team of three male and a female apprehended the robber while on the ground and shot him on his head and chest which left him dead.

Meanwhile the South African Police Service (SAPS) who now have the officers in their custody has charged them for murder as they are to appear in the Magistrate Court on Tuesday.

Government officials in Kenya are allegedly purchasing intimacy gadgets and condoms at inflated prices with tax payers money. One of the senior government ministers has been summoned by members of the Parliament (MPs) to explain what they describe as strange purchases - including intimacy gadgets and a condom dispenser.

Devolution and Planning Minister Ann Waiguru is due to appear before a parliamentary committee later today to explain the alleged purchases at inflated prices.

MPs allege that the condom dispenser was bought for $250, a television screen for $19,000 and pens for nearly $100. It is still unclear how much was spent on intimacy gadgets.

Two police officers and a girl all died when a police officer shot his girlfriend,his senior colleague and himself over matters regarding his girlfriend and his senior colleague.

According to reports by TMZ, Police on Tuesday afternoon raided Lil Wayne's Miami Beach mansion and seized some of his art which worth $30million to satisfy judgement of $2million debt which he owes a jet company.

As time went by, Miami-Dade county sheriffs deputies passed judge's order and place the rappers $11m waterfront home for sale at about 3pm yesterday.

Further reports tells that authorities removed some of his mansion's art pieces and plaques over not being able to pay the Private jet company signature group as passed by judgement.

A 34 year old immigrant from Somalia was arrested for savagely attacking a woman next to the parking garage of a Sheraton hotel in Sweden.

The woman died while being raped. Police say the perpetrator continued to rape the woman’s corpse well after she had died. The Somalian was apprehended by police while still in the act of raping the murdered woman.

Sweden and Norway are in the middle of a massive epidemic of violent rapes. Crime statistics show that rapes in both countries are overwhelmingly perpetrated by Muslim immigrants.

2013 figures were given in a recent report by Swedish Public Radio. In the first seven months of 2013, over 1,000 Swedish women reported being raped by Muslim immigrants. Over 300 of those were under the age of 15. The number of rapes is up 16% compared to 2012 numbers.
