them force you to buy, If u want a car with more airbags go and buy a Yaris for 1m more. There have taken out the airbags to make it more affordable to you. You buy what u pay for, if the government says there must be airbags and kia puts in airbags in the rio the car would be about 2.5m. Then its still you that would complain that theyre ripping you off. Cars are similar priced in USA because it is assembled there thus eliminating the shipping and clearing costs and for Kia in nigeria to deliver budget cars they have to do away with some options in the car . Given that the rio doest have much in it the airbags seem the logical thing to remove( as car no go work without tyre or gearbox). Dont work for Kia but its only common sense, if u want something with more airbags go and but a toyota and stop complaining. |
Anybody wey carry in hand put for this pre-order madness without doing his proper research first is a FOOL. I have had my fair share of car dealers antics since i moved to Lagos 2 years ago and i thank my God everyday that i didn't fall for any of this pre-order deal madness. Only advice i would give to anybody trying to buy a car from abroad is use a dealer that already has a showroom so at worst case scenario u go there and pick something if he doesn't deliver on time . 2nd option is Manheim one of the worlds biggest car auctions (UK and USA) would actually sell you a car online, honestly tell you what is wrong with it (if any) and ship it to Nigeria for you as unlike in Nigeria these people are under the legal obligation to do so. And one thing i can guarantee you is there would be no stories involved. the website is exporttrader.com . website is a bit tricky to use but once you get hold of it , it works out cheaper than the pre-order dealers and no stories involved whatsoever. Pre order dealers i dont mean to spoil your business but i have a problem with Nigerians always trying to play smart, now Osama could have invested his doubled his 1m naira by now but yet uve probably used the money to settle some personal issues and given him his money back 5 months later with no interest. |
I have had a kia soul for 2 months now and i think it is a smashing car. When i bought the car i had more than a few critics as most people seem to think it is a womans car, but i think the looks are striking and seeing that its just a couple of hundred thousand more than a cerato and less than an elantra its the best you can get for that money. Full tank costs under 3000 and takes me for at least a week (although mine is manual) and has all the equipment u need to make u comfortable. A/C to me doesnt get as cold as some of the cars i have had and I think electric door mirrors should be standard on a car that price but all in all i would say for that money you cannot buy better. As for performance , moves like a 1.6, wen buying a car like that performance is the last thing you should be thinking about, practicality is where your mind should be. I have been reminiscing whether if i shouldve bought a tokunbo car for that money but everytime i drive past a broken down vehicle or cars being pushed on 3rd mainland, i smile and thank God i wasnt that stupid. |
how long does the process take. |
is one year acceptible |
you are all missing the point of this , a man that has set certain standards for his kids has to maintain those standards until the children get upto that level. U cant send a kid to st saviours, then lekki british and send him to LSE( london school of economics) only to bring him back to Nigeria and tell him fend for himself. He would join yahoo boys in a cyber cafe , it only makes sense that the money the 200k the kid is being given is only keeping him from getting to that point of desperation that he would do anything embarassing to his family. A lot of you are talking with bitterness cos u do not see the point, but my suggestions for any parents like this is start him on 200K and then let him know that this pocket money will reduce in fixed terms i.e in 6 months 150k, 1 year 100k and then ud see the kid hasten up to get that job. |

how much is the 2 bed at agungi. |
Foolish people, " my people perish for lack of wisdom" they were talking bout u. This is the only way in nigeria we can have good roads and if this money was not invested it would take u 5 hours from ajah to VI on a sunday afternoon. If u dont wanna pay follow another route now or better still park your car and take bus. since your one of the people that want change but dont realise that change comes at a cost. Do you know the amount of taxes British people pay for their way of life im sure percentage wise its 10 times what you paid last year but u wanna live like them for free. If your against the toll gate go and live in mushin , no toll gate there . |

joker, this car starts at 2.65 for a manual and 2.85 for the automatic. 2.2 u might as well just wait rather than buy something that is probably giving the owner headache |
mini flat urgently required, anywhere upto the lekki fourth 4th roundabout budget 350 - 450 k . |
