That is being creative, very nice indeed. That reminds me of the saying that "necessity is the mother of invention" |
I can not but agree with this submission, of a true, this piece make sense to me. Men are providers, while women are generally processors, whatsoever men provide, is what women processes. Women were created to be helpers to men, and are such, they should not be expected to share responsibilities (especially financial) with men. However, women could help out in these areas if there is a need, for the betterment of all in the family. |
I got a message like that some weeks ago, but I simply replied that the sender should go and share the money among his or her relatives, that I am not interested. Do not allow greed to put you into trouble. |
He who provides answer to a matter before hearing the details needs to be careful or else it may be termed to be something else. Could these responses be borned out of hatred for the JW religion? I want to believe that 99.9% of those commenting on this matter does not have the details of what actually transpired. Whether to collect money or not, to take care of your personal needs, including health issues, is a personal decision and does not have anything to do with the JW doctrine. The general advice here is to always listen to the both sides of a matter before rendering any judgement. A Yoruba adage says: 'Agbejo enikan da, agba oshika ni.' |
Judolisco:The succession plan of Ibadan kingship is very long and unique. You have to cue and wait for your time.......you may have become a Mogaji of your compound at a very young age, you will start moving up the ladder gradually, which may take quite a number of years, and so, by the time it is your turn, you have naturally becomes mature and old enough to shoulder the responsibility of leadership. At that point in time, there would be no controversy whatsoever about who is the next in line. The system is very unique and straight forward, although, it may have its own disadvantage such as the one you pointed out, but we, Ibadan sons and daughters, are very proud of it. |
Kabiyesi oooooo!!! Congratulations in advance. |
This must be a joke carried too far, or is it true? |
The harder they come, the harder they fall. Be very careful. |
Sorry about that. Just be prayerful and roll your burdens upon Him. He will see you through. |
Just be wise in your dealings always, either with the opposite sex or otherwise. Use your senses. |
The world is definitely turning upside down on a daily basis, let's all parents take care of their wards/children. Lack of parental guidance and training is basically responsible for all these. May God help us. |
Omg. Where are we really going in this country? Releasing one, kidnapping others. |
This is becoming too much, where are we really going in this country? |
