eemalex: All this MuFus shouting tribalism. I am an IGBO boy to the core picked Unilorin as my 2nd choice institution and still got 1st list admission to Elect/Elect 3yrs back so from my testimony I don't know wat Tribalism means o. Ain't trying to brag just proving a point.that's exactly what your story is, just as u said ![]() |
chizzy94: Tryna Hack The Kofa Websitenow I see why your lappy no dey last. |
ahika: what you pay for is what you value most. Sometimes, when something is free doesn't mean there is no price tag on it, no no no. Sometimes, free things comes with cheap price, the cheapness/reduction in cost has made it attain its ''free-state''either u misunderstood me, or u went off track. I'm not talking about buying, I'm talking about giving. The facebook, twitter and other social networks you use, do u pay for it? Yet the owners are billionaires. Re-read my post again, u might understand better |
Olutola88: lol! You know very little young man. I spent 5 years in the University of Ilorin. Don't tell me you are looking for a perfect environment. Mind you, you can't even get a perfect atmosphere in the best universities of the world. If everything is perfect, what then would be improved? As for the power supply, it was the best when I was in school. Transportation is a problem popular with public universities and it has been seriously alleviated in Unilorin over the years. I'm sure you've not been to other schools that's why you don't know that Unilorin iswhen I see a non unilorin graduate hyping d way d graduates are hyping, I will believe you, till then: unitribalism! |
ahika: I understand that most Nigerians are too money oriented forgetting the fact that whoever loves money never has money enough and whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income i.e., wealth is insatiable, it doesn't bring success, it doesn't equate success because Success is knowing your purpose in life, growing to reach your maximum potential, and sowing seeds that benefit others.. I understand stand that u're trying to advocate for a change, (which is necessary) because it baffles me when u c most people (in business) with the ideology of ''Everybody for himself, God for everybody''. How will naija move forward if everyone tends to care for himself only or too self inclined? I understand where u're driving at. Read my previous posts and u'll c where I kicked against irrationality [of some producers].the problem is that no one reads anymore except for exams, everyone just wants a good certificate so they can join d |
lol.... All unilorin graduate are out to defend their school, But wait a minute, before u post, state ur tribe. I can see that the main allegation here is tribalism |
ahika: Nobody is talking about being too money oriented (expecting everything), but remember that the producer pays his bill. He operates a business not a philantropy organization. How will he finance his business, get materials to improve himself?good things come to those who persevere, I dnt actually me everything as in everything........but since u said it, well and good.... Nigerians are too money oriented, here we are driven by survival instead of vision.......really sad! ![]() |
MissyKwnly: any1 offering isd hia??I am d class rep.......have u bn admitted? ![]() |
chimhigher: Abeg na must say Errybody go finish clearance january??lol, it is advisable u clear early, so as to ease up stress before the main tussle begins |
ahika: There is a thin line between generosity, charity and stupidity. If you can't decipher the difference then you aren't suppose to be in the business world. I repeatlol! You know why people who expect nothing will always end up getting more than those who expect everything? Its simple, its simply because they actually gave more. wisdom looks like stupidity, but its not. |
emma2cute: online/[b]physical[/s].nothing physical dis year again. Online starts nov/dec and runs through physical in january. |
ahika: viccipedia has a point and u also have a point. I understand that most upcoming artiste don't pay well, but how can they come up or get known if their manufactured product is not advertised. The solution to this is that you (the producer) should come in agreement/contract with these artistes i.e., it is either you include marketing fee (which can range in form of different prices and methods) when charging them or they find a marketer themselves. Nothing goes for nothing. If you (artiste) wants quality job, then you (artiste) pay for it.the problem wiith us from this part of the world is the myopic mentality of nothing goes for nothing , but actually in d real sense, you never make anything till you give everything and expect nothing, that is actually when u attract success.... Contracts fail, agree to disagree, but what goes around must surely come around. You will always attract your type! So who do you want to be. |
Tallesty1: Choi! Abi d guy nah yahoo boy??nooooooooo i know am, na my brother. He no get any other work apart from producing and advertising, that is to say: he is not versatile. ![]() |
Neldrizzy: i still mntain my stand, atleast for now!! When i enter the production stuff fully then i would take ur observation into consideration.... If i don't get paid for working for you, hw would i get quality equipment to upgrade... i know you'r not into entertainment so you won't undastnd our challenges!!! Even the female artists do offer free yansshin just 2 get their song produced!!its business.... that policy applies to every other existing industry in the world, now the world knows how important advertising is, you should tap in, if you dont advertise, the you risk going obsolete even before you hit limelight ![]() |
Tallesty1:no b small |
Neldrizzy: hmmmm ok, advice taken!!!!! ..... .... But let me tell you, entertainment is the only industry were you can NEVER get anything done for free, do you know i pay pple 2 learn new things from Dem concerning production? No body is ready 2 teach you anything for free,i pay for every plugins and software i collect 2 use, my own friends for that matter oo!! Even nollywood actress de pay their dues b4 they get good roles... Nothing in entertainment is free!! The situation is critical, that's why you see so many upcoming artists everywhere frustrated..... Me sef i de face challenges most times due to financial issues!!!actually, nothing in life is free. If you are already investing so much in your career, why not finish the job. bro if the owner of omo dey use ariel, how this world go be? What is yours is yours bro, no matter who is on the front-line. Movie industry? wonderful example, imagine baba suwe not talking about the movie he has produced, all because mr latin(the actor) did not pay him to do so? Just like Mr latin, the singers are your actors. Thats the mentality you should develop as a self employed individual. cheers |
chizzy94: Space booked.trust me, this guy will be talking from experience. |
Neldrizzy: oga!!! Uploading song on any reputable site and middle age site cost money, like howfar9ja.com, spellsmusic.com, mp3naija, mp3faculty.com cost money, do you expert me to pay for the an artist for his song 2 be uploded on those site ??lol, start with the free sites, then move on to grater things. Everyone is self employed, no matter who u work for or what u do, you work for urself, you determine ur income, and you determine ur progress meter. Lemme give u a practical example: you come for an interview at my office and I ask u..... What have u done? You would probably play me some of the songs you have produced and d beat u have done. And then I go on to say..........oh sounds nice, why haven't I heard this somewhr bfor? Then you will start narrating d dead story of not being payed by the singer to advertise his song, how do u think u will sound? |
Neldrizzy: if am promoting any1, i should be paid for directly, if you cnt pay me directly then we go into contract and terms!!!! All dis boys wey no de like pay better money nai i go de promote their song? Don jazzy and d'banj were into contract terms that's why!!!like I said before, by marketing others, you're marketing urself. Its your work! You came on here and posted d song dint u? Didn't you write produced by neldrizzy? You would have just posted d artiste and not you. |
