Business / 2 Weapons You Need To Kill Poverty, Your MINDSET And The INTERNET by vicechancellor(m): 12:19am On Sep 05, 2021
There is poverty in the country. So much poverty.

People are truly going through a lot, and most of the poverty I see is a result of limited mindset, especially among the young people.

It takes some degree of toughness and a mindset of abundance to be able to shake off some poor mentality.

A few years back, I didn’t realize what going to ‘high class’ restaurants and lounges could do to my mindset.

I didn’t realize what going to places of ‘high standard’ could do to my mindset.

Our environment and the people we have hang out with also has an influence in the development of our mindset, and in the thoughts we process.

I began to see life differently when I started developing the mindset of abundance.

When I started visiting some places and enjoying some good time and nice stuff, my doubts began to fade away, and my mind began to process new questions.

Questions like...

How do I make more money so I can continue to enjoy this kind of experience?

What do I need to do to increase my income so I can continue to enjoy a better life?

What do I do today to increase my chances of earning more tomorrow?

Do I sell a product? Which product?

Do I offer a service? Which skill?

Who do I connect with so I can stay on course and not give up?

Those are the kind of questions that I asked, and the answers to those questions opened the doors to the little growth in my life today.

Many people are still being held down by limited mindset.

Many of these people desire the good life, no doubt, they desire to enjoy themselves and have fun, but for most people, the good life is also their fear.

They are afraid to leave the "little better" they have now, because they fear the uncertain "bigger better".

Fear of uncertainty is the enemy of many people in our society today.

You cannot grow beyond the level of your thinking.

You cannot grow beyond the level of your mindset.

You need to start asking the right questions today.

You need to start associating with the right group of people.

You need to start exposing yourself to a better environment (this could be offline or online).

You need to start listening, reading and watching the right materials, that would help improve your thought-pattern.

You need to start visiting the right places for the sake of your future.

The odds are already against you.

The society has been rigged against you.

Your chances will get slimmer faster, if you don’t take the shots.

As someone living in a country like this, the odds are already against you.

But we have 2 weapons that has been of immense help to many.

We have 2 powerful weapons that can lead you into a life of abundance or penury.

You know what these weapons are?

Your MINDSET and the INTERNET.

Learn to use these 2 weapons to your advantage.

Firstly, you should start by asking the right questions, and taking the right steps in the right direction...

Romance / Sick Of Being Single? Make Your Relationship Goals Happen by vicechancellor(m): 10:23am On Feb 05, 2021
Setting goals does not just apply to your career, your finances, or your fitness. Goals apply to every aspect of your life and that includes your relationship. If you are single and you’re sick of being that way, then you need to come up with a plan to change that and you need to approach it with the very same determination as you would any other type of goal.
What’s Holding You Back?
The first thing to do when trying to change the way you’re approaching your love life, is to look at what is holding you back.
For many people, it’s actually a lack of trying. Either they’ve been hurt before, they’ve lost confidence, or they just don’t realize they have to. But at the end of the day, if you’re tired of being single, then you need to work at this just as you would anything else. That might mean trying online dating, it might mean going to bars more, or it might mean just asking people out in the street.
While some people aren’t trying at all though, many other people are simply trying the wrong strategy or focussing on the wrong thing. These are the people who know they don’t want to be single any more but who aren’t quite sure how to change that.
For example, if you want to have a more active sex life then you shouldn’t be dating your friends as that is more likely to lead to a long-term relationship. If you want a long-term relationship, then looking at bars or on Tinder is likewise misguided.
Actually, pining after friends is generally a bad idea and it’s something that can really waste your time unless you have a drastic plan to change the way they see you. And then there are people who simply fail to correctly assess their own desirability to certain groups.
Then there’s the chance that you’re doing everything right but just not getting results, in which case you need to focus on your approach. That might mean the way you present yourself, or the way you come across in conversation. Many of us will unintentionally come across as sleazy, as needy, as clingy, or as desperate – none of these things are going to help your chances!
How to Make the Change
Once you’ve identified the problem, it’s time to start making the change. The first thing to do is to make the commitment to be proactive. That means regularly approaching people, or signing up to online dating and putting in effort (just creating a profile is not enough) or to improving your approach and your swagger.
Then you need to come up with a plan and think about how to make best use of your resources. For instance, Facebook can be a surprisingly effective way to meet people and also to reconnect with old people. Perhaps there is an old flame you could start messaging? Or maybe you could add someone that you met at a party?
If you’re shy of approaching the opposite sex, then maybe you should think of a way to work up to it and to build your confidence.
Sometimes it means not taking the most obvious route but the most important thing is that you identify the weak points in your game and your strategy and then work to fix those.

JaphOBMG:
I'm not farming mushrooms currently but based on what I know and have taught some people, it is profitable.

Mushroom cultivation is broad. Know what people want and dwell on it. Like oyester mushroom which is easy to cultivate and widely acceptable by mushroom lovers.

Carve a niche for yourself in areas like...malls(that won't place restrictions on your products due to nafdac approval issues) but if you have nafdac, that's fine.

I think the fresh one moves fast here than the dried. This is a pointer to know which to produce more. Although the dried has more market value per kg compared to the fresh per kg.

You can sell to pizza producing outlets.

You can sell dried to either as whole or powdery forms in hospitals.

You can sell to food vendors that prepares more of African dishes.

Ensure your product is hygienically produced and work well on your packaging-very key.

Market your product by creating awareness about the benefits..that's the edge you have to make profit.

A shocker, there is a mall here which gets supplies of fresh and dried mushroom...one of their staff just informed me last week that the supply has ceased...and he confessed to me how people rush the fresh one.. that's a good opportunity to sell and I believe there are other malls like that around.

I hope this is helpful?
Thanks a lot brother, that was helpful indeed.

Business / Re: Business Ideas For Year 2020 by vicechancellor(m): 10:18pm On Dec 08, 2020
Importation of fairly used items from USA classified online markets,it's a very profitable business anyone who is ready to experience financial breakthrough in year 2020 Should invest on.

Their are lots of cheap fairly used items like toys, shoes, laptops, mobile phones, wristwatches, video games, cameras and other tech devices that can be imported from the USA from sites like letgo, OfferUp, Craigslist to resell here In Nigeria.

Anyone can start this business right from the comfort of his or her home with little capital, their are pickup agents that can help serve as intermediaries between you and the seller in the USA for easy payments, inspection and shipping of items down to Nigeria.

With the right marketing strategies any investor into this business will be smiling to the bank on daily basis,I advise anyone considering it to first have a marketing plan both offline and online,it's a business I have been doing for quite some time now.

Please can you throw more light on this, I want to know more about it....
