AAU MBBS admission process is just like every other sch. Score high in jamb and post utme. For the past two years nw 65 has been their cutoff mark for medicine. Just aim for like 70+ and u are good to go. AAU has a quota of 50 students but the admit more than that. So its always survival of the fittest till u graduate. Looking forward to seeing u guys.

no they haven't. It usually comes out with the last batch I guess.

just make sure u pay your acceptance fee to avoid story that touches th heart. As regards the school fee, u can pay on a later date. But without the sch fees, u won't have a Mat Num as it is generated automatically after payment.

Funny enough I was a leftie @ a young age. Was scolded for been one. I had to change (my hands) through gradual process and I change that of my legs when I dislocated my metaltarsals. Before the leg healed, I had started using the right to play football. Now I can use both perfectly.

ANEMMA: i have gone through the academic calender, it didn't indicate when new session will start, it only indicated when dis session ll end being 12, NOV 2014. When are you guys xpected 2 go on holiday nd hw long? Does it mean freshers are to resume by NOV.?

rounding off with exams by 15th Oct. Freshers are expected to start clearance before or immediately after dat.

GST is a general course. Also CSC. For others I dnt really no. I think u re supposed to do it since its an environmental course. GRACIAS

ok. Individual differences. But to me if ever u are to stay in a sch hostel, medical hostel will be most preferred. There u meet ur likes. MBBS is a six year course +X and Y (X rep strike etc while Y rep ur personal determination).
100L is mainly based on A level science courses. 16 courses are done, 8 for first semester and 8 for second [of which two are practical phy 103 and CHM 102(done both first and second) ]. In Medicine u re not just expected to pass all ur course but pass very well. As a failure in any course is an automatic withdrawer or repetition. In some cases GPA is used as a yardstick for proceeding to 200L after which the GPA is of no use as you are not faced with just passing ur PRE MBBS( in 200L) and MBBS(300L). Just advanced secondary sch work is done PHY, CHM, BIO, GST, CSC, MTH.
My candid advice, just start reading now. Anything less than 45% in exams I an 'F'. Let the joy of been admitted into med sch die nw. Make ur self, family and frds proud by readind and passing to d next level. No be beans ooo but u fit cook d beans done. Meet frds who re done with 100L and take dere text bks.

college of medicine has its own hostel(Basic medical hostel). It accommodates both boys and girls. As regards where to stay, its personal.
As a 100L medical student, ur classes are in both college and main campus. Ideally GST and BIO are always on campus while the rest courses(MTH, CHM, CSC, PHY) are supposed to be in college depending on hw well ur class rep(I am one) liaison with the lecturer. Some of my class mates stay on campus hostels like igbenedion. But I stay off camp. Its more conducive but there are other tins to it like distractions. But if u can handle it, it would be better. Stay kul and looking forward to meeting u.
