MataHariSez:
Hello All,

I've noticed (over the past few years browsing through Nairaland) that posters repeat queries that have already been attended to by other well-meaning folk on the thread. I would like to suggest a simple way to avoid frustration for those who need immediate answers and those who have done their best to provide the same answer on numerous occasions. If you have an issue, just type out your question on google and add "nairaland" immediately after your query. You are immediately given links on Nairaland that pertain to your particular issue and are taken directly to a page that concerns you. No need to wade through hundreds of pages. Hope this helps!

I would like to use this opportunity to appreciate Justwise, Vicjustice and others. I have referred to Nairaland on numerous occasions in the past. Sometimes for entertainment, sometimes for knowledge. Vicjustice, your acerbic wit takes some getting used to but you have been a constant over the years and that sure counts for something. Justwise, you do not lose your temper--at least on site--and you remain a fair, yet sound, voice of reason. Cheers!
I appreciate your appreciation. Many thanks

Vicjustice, did you attend a show at the Moulin Rouge?
No, I didn't attend any show in there, I didn't even know the Rouge is right near my holiday home, so I didn't make any booking

It is easier and safer to call the wild-life service to take care of it than to try to take its life.

If this is real, the person responsible for its death should be arrested and punished severely for wasting such a beautiful endangered creature.
It takes more than a century for a snake to grow to this size, and the took its life in just a moment.

It was obvious that this dude had not taken a bath for ages, and yet, he was able to sleep in the open summer heat.

I felt robbed when i saw this plaque, one of the many art works stolen from the ancient Benin kingdom during the British invasion in 1897.
These Benin plaques were sold by the British and distributed to many major museums hence the Benin arts can be seen in several museums around the world.

Below is one of the few existing photo of the Oba Ovonramwen Nogbaisi.
(Observe the inscription on the photo that reads: King Ovonramwen of Benin responsible for the Benin massacre..."
Bottom is the loot from the Oba palace, the booty from a massacre that were distributed to the world

in all sincerity,i never knew a kid born from such interracial marriage could have a distinct appearance.pls which country/origin is ur wife from,i remember a particular thread you posted pix about your marriage, but i can find it right now.oh what a wonderful and happy family, that the kind of distinct appearance i want for my unborn kids...african women are beautiful but they aint for me,its not my destiny to get married to one,my future (white)wife is out there,we have never met but by each passing day we should meet soon,i dont know how and when, coz its divine and out of my control.
God bless and keep you all
Things are easier when done orderly. To be honest, marrying a white woman was neither something that i hoped for nor is it something that i planned, I only had a flexible heart that was/is open to accepting a wife from any race, nation, ethnic or tribe.
While there are numerous white women who would help you live a fulfilled life, I like to warn you to be careful with your obsession so you don't fall into the hand of an irresponsible one

yes sure i know, vicjustice and justwise is diff.
...if you say so,then i look forward to be a proud father like you too when its my turn.
That young dude is full of admiration,God bless u,his mum and he himself more.#did thought he wld take after your dark complexion y'know.lol
Good observation, though looking more like Mediterranean ccomplexion, Daniel is a bit lighter in skin colour than most bi-racial people, and he's taken his blue eyes from his mom, as well as his blonde hair, but the woolly curls obviously distinguishes him as a mixed race kid.

Dear Vicjustice,
I have read your brilliant responses and you seem well grounded in this field.
I have visited the UK once and my 6months visa has expired. I intend travelling with my wife and daughter this time.
Question is,
My wife has been refused an Irish visa last year and I was refused a US visa this year. Do we need to include the refusal letters in our present application to to UK?
No, you do not have to present any letter of previous refusals even though the questionnaire requires answers to previous visa application outcome

The day you start looking at it wholistically and objectivity is the day you'll understand BHT. Its purely political. It was the first set of BHT that could be said to believe they were fighting for religious reasons.
Islam is a totalitarian system, it is more of a political movement than a religion.
