A friend of mine applied for UK student visa in 2007, 11 years ago, he was refused the visa based on insufficient funds in his account.
Fast forward 2018... He is married to an European lady and he live with his wife in Europe with his 5 years residence permit. They have been married for 6 years now.
The problem now is when he applied for the for UK visa 11 years ago, he used a different name and different date of birth on that passport and he was thumb printed... Now the name and date of birth in his current passport is different from what he used that time.
He wants to go for a wedding with his wife in Uk and he is not sure if there will be a problem if he applies now for visa with his current passport

Although I don't want to seem silly by addressing this query as though I believe this issue is about a "friend" of yours, and although I have reasons to believe that you are the subject of the story; but because the query has some serious elements, I will allow it to fly by.

Well, the situation that you explained is the exact reason why the UK and others introduced the Finger-Print and Eye-Scan system, so, you should be certain that they will take your case seriously.

Now, if you're willing to accept the fact, I'll advice you to forget about the UK for good because, you would be caught once your fingerprint enters the UK's (or Irish) immigration database, and that would mean a disaster to your current Residence Permit as the UK will most definitely share their findings with your current host country.
If you really want to take a suicidal risk and you desire to visit the UK, I advice you to come clean first in your host country, but if you fear coming clean will put you into trouble, then forget about the UK for life.

please I need your honest advice. I applied for B1/B2 visa(child birth) with my hubby and we were denied. The visa officer said, she believes we do not have strong ties to Nigeria and hubby has his business and properties for which she didn't ask about. The visa officer asked for his personal statement of account and we took for only his business account because we felt that will be the funding account. Besides he doesn't really use the personal acct so it's not quite funded. If I reapply, what can I do differently bearing in mind that hubby will be my sponsor or do you think I should just let things be?

You weren't "rude". it's just that your comments seemed a bit bluffing.
Now that we are seemingly on common ground, I'll tell you plainly that your visa application would be refused because, you haven't yet exceeded the mandatory one year period after which your tax return will be evaluated, and your job sustainability is assessed.

I got my company to get me payslips, I was employed 6th of February 2018 and was confirmed 7th of may (3 months), I applied for leave on July 4th. This means I will be sending my application may 30th after I receive my salary for that month. Is this OK??

My new company is registered with CAC and has a TIN number from FIRS, so its legit, the payslips will come with letter head and a signature from HR, the most important thing like you said is that payment from my company should show on my salary account (bank statement) which it does, my account is legit.

I saw a post that a guy was refused UK visa because he submitted a payslip without a Bank statement, the eco said payslips can be forged but a bank statement is verified. I think I can only be band if I produce a fake bank statement which I don't intend on doing.

Well, if you're willing to accept it, your chance of being refused a visa is overwhelmingly high for reason of unsustained employment as you haven't yet exceeded one year in your current job.

Drafting a payslip yourself can be deemed fraudulent and that may get you banned for life.

Ill call the police and say exactly what happened because, I live in a country where you can't be arrested based on assumption, but on evidence and fact.
You can get into deeper trouble for taking actions with the intention of disposing off the body, in fact, that could be seen as a gross criminal act which may ruin your innocence.
In Nigeria, you could be arrested and charged without due process, and a judge can sentence you to death based on police opinions without autopsy report.

As your visa was already issued before your pregnancy, it is not necessary to formally inform a consular of your circumstance
