im not Nigerian, ugly or shapeless so you can't. Old, unable to do the job effectively, unattractive, probably shapeless and Nigerian. Sounds like she fits the description you gave very well.
There you failed, my mom doesn't need a job, she's a boss who pays her employees.

Its not a personal attack but its a request i dont know why you would see it as an attack. Dont tell me you already got offended, hence you thought it was an attack cheesy

It would have been nice if you used them as an example of the women you described so we cant get a better pic of what you were talking about. p
I don't have a sister, and my mom is elderly. How about you?

My comment about the inability of some Nigerian women to keep in shape must have affected you personally to tthe point of revenge by attacking me personally too.

Boss thanks so so much. These are the list of doc she submitted. She works in ministry of agriculture. 1) letter of employment, 2)leave letter, 3)shares certificate, 4)marriage certificate, 5)account statement of 2.1m. 6) travel insurance. 7) hotel reservation. Confirmed. Because I called the hotel myself I have forgotten other things she submitted. She has being to dubai last month and spent only one week. She has already submitted the application before she noticed her flight reservation was cancelled. But its from airfrance Web. It's getting to one month no call from or text from France embassy. My friend said if they don't call or text after 10 days it means the person has being rejected. Sir is it true? Thanks
Not necessarily true, it means (perhaps) there are some checks in progress especially if the application is complicated

He speaks better English than some Nigeria University and especially Polytechnic graduates tbh.

It's also a matter of how you bring them up as well, the type of kids you allow them to mix with etc i.e. if you marry a White Briton and allow your kids to mix with children around some dodgy areas around Peckham, don't be surprised if he comes up saying "init".
I think it's ok to allow your kids to mix with others, irrespective of their accents or slants use, you can't really control who they mix up with in Schools or Playgroundxs etc, but it is up to the parents or guidance to educate them.
Daniel did very well with Nigerian kids, some of were only able to speak pidgin English.

Thanks and goodmorning. It is accurate. He has his biz and we v been saving for d holidays. Meanwhile my no 2 question is still not answered.
We will be travelling from France to UK, and we have proof of accommodation in France but In UK we book hotel for 4 nights. My question is --how do we answere the question that says 'how much is available for your trip' do we calculate how much we will spend altogether for the whole trip I.e from Lagos to France then to UK (return) or we just calculate and state how much it will cost us from France to UK only?
Our flight from France to UK ia abt 200Euro,(return for 2) hotel in London is 393 for 4nights. Feedind is abt 72pds for 4 days apart from transportation within London.
You are applying from Nigeria, therefore, it is reasonable to write the total cost of the entire trips from Nigeria.
This is the kind of circumstances that you need to explain in the additional information field, you can use external paper if need be: but remember to KISS your script: Keep It Short & Simple.

boss please help me out , i have a sister who is applying for france visa, she didnt add letter of introduction and he flight reservation she submitted was already cancelled because its stated in the front page , she made the reservation to submit that same day but she didnt make it , she only wrote her name dawn and submitted the next week , does it really count , thanks and God bless.

Flight reservation is not a requirement for visa application, so, it wouldn't have counted had she not made any reservation. But now that she had made an invalid reservation, and had presented it in her application, that action may now come into question.
Note: Itinerary does not necessarily means flight reservation, it means the the travel arrangements that you have put in place, such arrangement might be transportation plans whilst in the country, activity plans, tour guides etc.

I feel you on this. Same when I see our artwork in Museums around the world but then I stop and think if those art work remained with us, will we really appreciate or treasure them?

What has happened to all the artwork left in Nigeria? Do we have museums where our people can go enjoy and appreciate them? NO hence maybe they are fine where they are. At least we and the world can view and appreciate our creativity.
You're very correct

Nice pics.

I saw the Mona Lisa a few years ago and I must admit I wasn't too impressed lol. Felt like all the people were scrambling to take a pic just because it is the "Mona Lisa" not because they saw a painting they really liked or appreciated.

Hope you had a great time though?
Exactly, the picture is not what actually impressed me, but its fame and popularity, and the way people are happy just to have a glimpse of it

Pls oh @justwisew and vicjustice and all..pls answer my questions.

1. What year did the New form come to effect? I mean the New visa we fill online.

2. I am travelling from France to visit UK for just 4 days. In the application form where they ask 'how much is for your expenses? How much is flight ticket, train etce since my first place is France and then fly to London much later, do I calculate my flight ticket from just France to London or Lagos to London? Pls am waiting ohh. Thanks.

3. My Husband is my sponsor. He has about 2.7m closing balance. He wants to state that he spends about 500pounds which is abt 125k per month. Its just 2 of us for now. Pls is it reasonable enough?

Thanks thanks in advance.
1) I don't recall the exact year, but the online application system has been on for a good number of years, though, there have been some changes in the websites and the structures of the application forms.
2) This is the kind of circumstances that you need to explain in the additional information field, you can use external paper in need be: but remember to KISS your script: Keep It Short & Simple.
3) It will be reasonable enough if that is the accurate figure, and it will be unreasonable if it is incorrect.
The reasonable thing to do is to say it as it is and to call a spade a spade: it is unreasonable to say something that will be difficult to defend

I did not bring this up, Tehn spokesperson did and CATEGORICALLY stated it was solely to defend Tehn. Again Semitunde, this was the same ish raised by OAm4 which I addressed earlier! Nevertheless it is tasteless and crass for anybody to bring up this 7 months old case which resulted in the painful demise of the patient, wouldn't you agree!!! With regards to the doofus Jaybee whom I cannot tackle head on due to legal proceeding Mr Semitunde:

-He is one of the official Tehn spokesperson who blatantly stated he was on other thread on a premeditated course of attack on my person "because" I was the only one who had issue with organisation Tehn 7 months ago. I do not have any other issue with him.

-My only grouse was with the hospital's antics hence reason ALL my posts "on NL" centred on time/money. [[six weeks spent with no diagnosis]] [[Donation received - donation spent] = upto N2M used to treat tuberculosis]] I don't have any issue expressing myself clearly. I was not part of those who mentioned anything about any India trip. My "offline" stance since day one which i communicated to them "offline" was - conventional medicine "cannot" cure this, complimentary medicine "can"...kindly empower DJ financially upfront and give him a sizeable sum of money as the breadwinner of his family so he can have something like a "bucket list" and also enable him cater to his dependants' needs...I communicated this to them formally in a non-imposing manner oh.

-Semitunde, you are very wise and correct to have sussed out that there are some other ish being dugged up: there was "one" instance outside NL 4 months ago(outside NL I repeat for emphasis) whereby a flurry of diabolical threatening text messages were sent to me by a Tehn individual, and I responded via same text message that "I don't suffer fools gladly/I am not moved by empty threats/"you lagbaja did this, you lagbaja did that, etc..."

-Pray ask this so-called professional tehn group why this "one-off offline" incidence with one individual - is being packaged by Tehn group with lots of salt and pepper added to show how butthurt they are as a group - "online" Why is the group here "online" to tackle what happened "offline" with an individual "online"? And they expect to be taken seriously! See why you sef are getting confused with this so-called professional group called Tehn on their individual/group stance! See how liars have painted the text convo I had offline with the head honcho at Tehn as gossip & rumour spreading! Pathetic!!!
Well said. But unfortunately, there will always be trouble-someone who would hate you for knowing your stuff. It's loathing how someone can keep on being involved in fights all over the place for 10 years

No native greek speakers there that I encountered. Actually a lot of the southern coast used to be greek forts at some point or the other and though this is reflected in some of the architecture, without knowing the history, it is not very apparent anymore.
I flew to bari because my man is barese and has family there. From there, travelled round from ostuni, otranto, torre san giovanni, pescoleuse, leuca, porto cesario and gallipoli.
I have more photos, just a bit lazy at the moment.
you must visit, its cheap, lots of good food and booze is cheap, 3 euros for local red wine? Yessir!! grin
Poor Greece, it used to be the most glorious country in the world in various aspects, but it has lost its places in regard to internationally used language, in regard to science & technology, military power etc: even its lands were taken by force and are occupied by neighbouring nations; Constantinople was snached by Turkey and is now called Istanbul, it great Orthodox Church converted into a mega mosque; North Cyprus currently occupied by same Turkey, Macedonia is now an independent nation; southern Italy used to be part of Greece too

Ostuni- also known as the white city.
I'm surprised how a Nigerian person happened to be a tourist in Ostuni because, that is one ancient place that people barely hear of.
I've never been there, but i learnt that it was a Greek town in in Italian main-land: i mean, it was originally built and occupied by the Greeks. But how is the situation now, are there still Greek speakers in the town?

The premises of the ancient Church on the highest ground of Paris. As well as its location on the highest hill, this Church is also famous for its combined services in both the Greek Orthodox and the Roman Catholic practices.
But to me, these practices are idolatrous if the first and the second of the 10 commandments are implemented correctly.
Well, religion aside, this Church is a wonder with its overwhelming architectural structures. Difficult to explain, just go and see for yourself.

Hello All,

I've noticed (over the past few years browsing through Nairaland) that posters repeat queries that have already been attended to by other well-meaning folk on the thread. I would like to suggest a simple way to avoid frustration for those who need immediate answers and those who have done their best to provide the same answer on numerous occasions. If you have an issue, just type out your question on google and add "nairaland" immediately after your query. You are immediately given links on Nairaland that pertain to your particular issue and are taken directly to a page that concerns you. No need to wade through hundreds of pages. Hope this helps!

I would like to use this opportunity to appreciate Justwise, Vicjustice and others. I have referred to Nairaland on numerous occasions in the past. Sometimes for entertainment, sometimes for knowledge. Vicjustice, your acerbic wit takes some getting used to but you have been a constant over the years and that sure counts for something. Justwise, you do not lose your temper--at least on site--and you remain a fair, yet sound, voice of reason. Cheers!
I appreciate your appreciation. Many thanks
