hey guys, morning all, you have no idea how many problems get solved here, i got my visa reading and following advices given on this forum. keep up the good job.

i have a concern, in my visa application i stated that i knew no one in the UK, but the truth is i have two brothers, both british citizens. the reason i denied knowing anyone was because we were not in good terms and i went through the application process without involving them.

After getting the visa, my brother called and we kinda settled after some family meetings etc..

problem now is, one of my brothers insists i stay with him for a couple of days and offered to pick me up at the airport.
i should also add that i changed my travel plans as i initially planned to stay for 6 days, but now will be staying for a month.

told him about the issue of not knowing anyone in the UK, but he said it doesnt matter and that i should tell them at the POE that i have 2 brothers.

please guys, what do you think as i initially insisted on sticking with my initial hotel reservation, but its starting to look like i still have grudges and that is why i dont want to stay with him and i dont want to start another family fight....lol

i know there's so much "unnecessary" personal information here, but i just thought i should make you understand my situation.

my question ia would it affect me if i state at the POE that i have brothers having earlier stated in my application form that i dont,
is it true that it doesnt matter as my brother said?

It is OK to change your staying plan or the duration of stay as change of circumstances can justify that. But as for the denial of your brothers, you have to keep on denying that (at least, during the validity of your current visa) until (perhaps) your next visa application. How you will eventually rectify the discrepancy will be on your own discretion: but i must warn you that (as your both brothers are legally in the UK and even hold British citizenship,) it may result to a 10 years ban if the visa officer observed that you had lied in your previous application.
Now, if you must declare them in your subsequent application, then, you must establish a reasonable reason that would be acceptable as the reason why you denied having them in the UK previously.
Clue and Idea: It is possible that the visa officer will not scrutinize that aspect, and also possible to state that your brothers were in Nigeria or were not going to be in the UK during your visit. Indicate this as additional information otherwise, you would be refused and banned before given the opportunity to explain yourself.
Note: Except there are other reasons to suspect you, the visa officer will not go deep into checking your brothers' travel history.

I think it will depend on the status of the company, that may work with multi national companies but with local or smaller companies it will be an issue

Good day Vicjustice, Justwise and fellow Nlers, I've completed and submitted my UK visit visa application and have scheduled my biometric later this week. yesrerday my friend was going thru my application and spotted the column where they requested if one has been denied visa by any country including the UK in the last 10years. Although I've been denied by UK and US 2years ago but only acknowledged that of UK and not of US in the form cos I think it's not necessary. My question, is it necessary to state I've been denied by US too? And now tht I've submitted the application can I state that on a plain sheet and attach to my documents to be submitted?

I will recommend that you provide your own statement of account because, it is to your advantage to demonstrate your financial worth... But if for smart reasons you don't want to present it, then, ensure that your employment in the company is satisfying to represent an obligation to return home for.

You can not apply for a visa from a country that you do not have citizenship rights or residence permit to. A visa is not good enough.

Thanks and God bless you so much the only thing written in the Remarks is C - VISIT, same on my wife's Visa except for our daughter that says C - VISIT - CHILD ACCOMPANIED, Only valid if acc by either my passport or my wife's passport

As your own passport does not carry such restricting remark, then, you're good to travel with or without your family.

I, my wife and baby girl which will be 2yrs 25, May 2015 applied for six {6} months UK Family Tourist Visa last year April 2014 and we were all granted.
We all traveled same April last year during Easter and we all spent six {6} weeks and return back to Nigeria.
We only travel once with the 6 months visa and in November we all applied for two {2} years, i was called and later receive an email that our package is ready for pick up which i pick up our package and we were all granted, we intend to travel December for Xmas but due to some family occasions we couldn't make it
I and my daughter that will be 2yrs 25, May this year 2015 wants to visit London before her birthday as my wife just got a job and wont be possible to go with us because we will be staying three {3} weeks.
Now my question is this;
Since it's a Family Tourist Visa can i and my daughter go without my wife ?
Also can i go alone if probably i cant go with my daughter due to some other reasons ?
We will be staying in a hotel

Your query is well understood, therefore, i can confidently say YES to your both questions, NO PROBLEM.
The only instance in which you would have a problem is, if there is a remark (on the visas) stating that you can only be admitted into the UK if you traveled together with your family. In the absence of such clause, there is absolutely no problem if you or your wife travel alone.

I was suppose to attend a conference in Liverpool from 16-18 April, 2015. I applied for a UK 2 years visa on 30th March 2015 on a new passport and the visa was issue on the 10th of April, but teleperformance did not return my passport until 17th April, so I missed the conference. I have no immediately plans to visit the UK until September 2015 for another conference. My question is will my waiting till September 2015 have any effect my entry into the UK to attend another conference? Should I just take a short trip now for holidays before the planned visit in September 2015. Note I also have valid US and German Schengen visas on my previous passport.

It is a multi-entry visa therefore, it can be used for subsequent travels if the purposes are deemed valid.

Why are you asking me the question that you have a better answer to? I have not seen the terms and conditions of your insurance policy, nor do i know its validity. So, why did you ask me?

In this case, a re-application is better than appeal.
I recommend that you make another application: write an additional information and explain why you think the previous refusal was an error, and explain whatever you think the visa officer needs to know or take into consideration.
This is way cheaper, easier and more effective than hiring a lawyer to plead your case; fighting for a tourist visa of which you have no legal rights.

My ITALY visa application was refused ..going to appeal it, as i was told i can in the doc presented..They said appeal should be with the assistance of a lawyer, what lawyer? local or foreign lawyer?
Also i want to know if it is something i can do myself, if it is, how can i send the appeal to T.A.R(Administrative Regional Court) of Latium, and with what format should i use to write the appeal.. the suckers didn't put no address or email to which i can send appeal to.. Does anyone know the right address?

Sure, you can appeal the decision yourself, you don't necessarily need a lawyer for that.
But how can anyone tell you how to appeal it when the reason for the refusal remains your secret?
