ORIENTNIGERIA: "Then, there were morals and communal living; civilization took that and brought competition, finally turning us against each other" Oh well, that happens to be one of the numerous disadvantages of civilization. fr3do: Slave mentality! The white man did not bring civilization, we have always had it, in those days, hardly was there crime, morality reigned hard.
The white maltreated your ancestors and put them into slavery. Myy ancestors? Ehmmm, and who told you Jaja was Yoruba? Btw, I'm sure you know the definition of civilization, slaves still exists, but do they go unclad like these ones? Things have changed over the years. david22uu: If not ur.... wld have been flat liike thiers Oh well, probably! lexy2014: supposing na that time dem born u, na so u 4 fine like those cheeks very very fine chicks misreal: so??what is the significant difference between them and the ladies that walk the street totally naked.mtchww. Yea, little or no difference. But you dont have to Mtchwww to drive a point. Ozize: Helo Mr. Vicky. I would like to know what you mean by "thanks to civilization". Thanks in advance :-) I take it to mean, you're asking a rhetorical question, but I'm still gonna answer you. The invention of Bra to cover those stuffs is civil enough. Slaves still exist, but they dont go bare like they used to. Btw, I'm not Mr. Vicky Dronedude: You would have been comfortable then. Not sure I would have been. The look is somehow. Posing for a snapshot for that matter But once you're left with little or no option, you've got to rock the boat. klodike: Women were ugly then. They werent ugly, they just dint know how to look good. dearpreye: Hmm! It seems we're heading back to those days now! rabimlomo: We are going back to those times in terms of dressing I tell you! No doubts, we are. Unclad peeps everywhere Jattuboy: thanks to civilization indeed.
Muslim women have been civilised decades b4 dis era. they have been covering since before this time.
how I wish he was a Muslim, this would have not happened to this women. Huh? How you wish? Not only Muslim women were civilized then. Well, it's history now. |

onatisi: thank you . In all my travels outside nigeria I have seen nigerians who only realized that certificate means nothing outside . What matters most is what you can do,once u are able to do something u are already half way settled. The skills and training which many graduates in nigeria look on as degrading and dirty are the skills that actually make money. When u advice a graduate to learn bricklaying, phone repair, plumbing, welding, barbing ,tailoring and etc ,they will look at u as if u are mad ,but when they leave nigeria and it is then they realize that naija certificates are worthless unless u have added skills to it. But even if they don't leave naija ,with basic training in these vocations and with their level of education they should be ok. It is the application of simple skills and training plus education that differentiates success from failures in todays world . Exactly!!! It's an added advantage knowing you've got a skill asides your certificate. Most coys these days, go beyond the conventional means of interviews and solely ask what you can do, what differentiates you from the societies flooded 1st class, 2:1. and 2:2 graudates. The earlier people realise that entrepreneurs rules the world, the better. Not everyone can begin a large business, but anyone can start up something, no matter how little it is. Then again, it doesnt mean you cant have your business and work for a coy, like I stated earlier, it's a double advantage. You welcome!!! |

onatisi: where is the unemployment ? There is no unemployment in nigeria , nigeria is a placed blessed with abundant opportunities for ppl to make it IF ONLY they want to . Youths must open their brains to the reality that the world has changed ,jobs are getting scarce all over the world ,no employer wants to employ someone who sits down doing virtually nothing anymore . If u can't get a salary job then get trained in a vocational trade or skill and start working on ur own , stop looking for white collar salary jobs ,the amount of money and time many unemployed youths have spent on making cvs, attending interviews and time is enough to have gotten them well trained and gainfully self employed . The days of manna from heaven are over ,in the world we are now u just have to be productive to compete and survive. Remain blessed!!! May wisdom never elude you... |
