He told me he charges 200k just to lay 1 block. Says bricklayer 12k, labour 8k. He didn't know i know they charge 10k for bricklayer, 5k for labour. Which is 150k contrary to the initial 200k he mentioned.

that was why i said it depends on ur location...i work as a site engineer...we pay bricklayers 12k to 15k at times and labour gets 7k and if the work is casting, labour charges 10k for it...the tougher the job the higher the payment for labourers but for bricklayers they go home with 12k and sometimes 15k..


The money just get heavy digit....remove transport and feeding then you go know whatsup.
That's why i said u should try and have a good conversation with him...don't let him cheat you and at the same time don't cheat him too.....let it be a win win situation nd u all go home happily.

No one here can give u a perfect figure for ur question....payment depends on ur location....you can't compare the price of paying a bricklayer/labour in lagos state with the same thing in abuja or Anambra....so price diifers...
Instead, try and have modest conversation with ur bricklayer nd come into a perfect conclusion and you guys are good to go. Period

There are lots of men, in this generation and previous ones, that cannot tell you the name of their children's class teacher or the name of two of their children's best friends.

I had a friend growing up, the mum knew all our names and when you see her outside she will say "hello" and add your name even if her son is not with us. The dad, who admittedly works hard, you would greet him even in his house and he will just barely answer and look at you blankly.

You tell me which parent the child will bond with more (even though my friend was a mummy's boy sha).

Few weeks ago I met a girl and kept contact with her.

Everything was going on smoothly until I asked her to come to my place.


I already prepared my mind for 'NO', and that's what I actually got. I felt it's the usual not wanting to appear cheap so I tried again, she said she was busy.

It was on a Saturday. I lock up and continued with my life. The next day (Sunday) Mancity and Arsenal had match and I wasn't missing it for anything.

If she had accepted to come over, I would have planned my schedules so as to watch the game after that be with her or so.

But since she wasn't positive after second trial I assumed she won't be coming again.

Lo and behold just before the end of 1st half, (after Dounaruma mistake that Harvertz scored) her call came in, and she wanted to come!


Told her I was watching match I'll call her when I'm done.

That was it.

After the game I called but she didn't pick up. Messaged her on WhatsApp but she's not replying.


Since then she's been giving me attitude.

She's supposed to let me know on time, at least a day before, so that I plan my day, not towards evening by 5PM of the same day.



It's not as if I rejected her, I just can't leave my match for her even though I later called.

Has anyone ever experienced such?

with all this story now....what do we gain in this?

Nah...depends on the house u re staying....most mordern houses now introduce high roof celling.
