So after Some serious convincing, this babe decided to come over. Now Looking at prices of rents these days, we see 1m, 1.2m, 1.5m for self con, mini flat etc.

Now judging by the amount an average person make in Nigeria and also huge cost of living how do they manage to afford this?

In 2011 of so, while dating my wife, when I bought her a Samsung mini laptop (N75,000.00), she refused to accept it. In fact, we had an issue over it. She was angry that I got her something that costly.

When she finally accepted it (the next day), she went straight to her mum to show her. Her mum rang me, asking me how I got the money to buy such an expensive item for her.

Lately, so I decided it was high time I tried my luck with other ladies since my fiancee broke up with me. I must really confess, it has been hectic after meeting a couple of single ladies.

The first lady, a lady of 27 years was the first one I encountered and she was introduced to me by my cousin. M After texting and chatting on Whatsapp for a week, we decided to finally meet. We booked a date and I paid for her transport. On the day of our date, I noticed she wasn't paying attention to everything I was saying and that really killed the vibes I was expecting from our first date. Funny and awkward thing was that she didn't even spend more than 20 minutes on the date and I was the only one asking all the questions. After she left, I only called her to make sure she got home safely and afterward, I didn't bother to call or text her because that wasn't the kind of relationship I wanted.

Then, what actually buried the whole thing was that, even after everything, I was trying to build up a relationship with her even though I wasn't really feeling the vibes. The question that dug the final grave was--"Since the day I left your place, you haven't sent me any money for food and upkeep".

At first, I kept quiet for a while and then replied her--"haven't you been eating before we met?". That was when hell was let lose. The insults I received on that day from her were so much and annoying that the only way I thought I could pay her back was to block her ASAP.

This lady was someone who had her own hairdressing saloon business and I thought I could build something meaningful with her. But to my greatest surprise, she wasn't different from the hungry, younger ladies out there.

I don't think I will commence on my mission on the dating pool from now on because it seems most of these ladies nowadays are hungry and only looking for men who will bail them out of their poverty

So single guys in the house, has anyone of you had a similar experience with single ladies?

Yes i understand, but dealing with this my bricklayer, i just have to have an idea.. The guy knows how to take advantage of one's ignorance.

He told me he charges 200k just to lay 1 block. Says bricklayer 12k, labour 8k. He didn't know i know they charge 10k for bricklayer, 5k for labour. Which is 150k contrary to the initial 200k he mentioned.

Then do so at the weekend to compensate if you can't do it during the week.

There are lots of men, in this generation and previous ones, that cannot tell you the name of their children's class teacher or the name of two of their children's best friends.

I had a friend growing up, the mum knew all our names and when you see her outside she will say "hello" and add your name even if her son is not with us. The dad, who admittedly works hard, you would greet him even in his house and he will just barely answer and look at you blankly.

You tell me which parent the child will bond with more (even though my friend was a mummy's boy sha).

It's the fault of the men, they too should make time to start bonding with their children. Not everything school fees.

They make it easy for the woman to claim victim and garner sympathy.

Men too should tell the stories of their wives misdeamenours to their children, trust me the women are doing so and adding jara big time.

Few weeks ago I met a girl and kept contact with her.

Everything was going on smoothly until I asked her to come to my place.


I already prepared my mind for 'NO', and that's what I actually got. I felt it's the usual not wanting to appear cheap so I tried again, she said she was busy.

It was on a Saturday. I lock up and continued with my life. The next day (Sunday) Mancity and Arsenal had match and I wasn't missing it for anything.

If she had accepted to come over, I would have planned my schedules so as to watch the game after that be with her or so.

But since she wasn't positive after second trial I assumed she won't be coming again.

Lo and behold just before the end of 1st half, (after Dounaruma mistake that Harvertz scored) her call came in, and she wanted to come!


Told her I was watching match I'll call her when I'm done.

That was it.

After the game I called but she didn't pick up. Messaged her on WhatsApp but she's not replying.


Since then she's been giving me attitude.

She's supposed to let me know on time, at least a day before, so that I plan my day, not towards evening by 5PM of the same day.



It's not as if I rejected her, I just can't leave my match for her even though I later called.

Has anyone ever experienced such?
