How and where please?
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by VicStix: 10:40am On Mar 03, 2020
Hello Gurus.

A friend of mine has CIPM certification (Associate) plus B.Sc. Should she select "two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees" under educational qualification and send both to WES for evaluation?

In other word, Would WES evaluate CIPM certification and what level of education does it qualify for in calculating CRS score?

UNILAG insists they have not seen any mail from WES for the verification of my documents. However, WES insists they have sent it. It has been 2 months now and my application is still hanging. What can I do please?

I hate guys who don't respect women

I dislike girls who don't respect guys. Respect has nothing to do with gender and should have little to do with age. Every human being has some value and therefore is entitled to, at least, a minimum level of respect.
Events / Re: Is N500k Marriage Still Possible In This Recession? by VicStix: 8:07pm On Sep 25, 2017
MrBigiman:

Thanks. So far I have managed to save 800k. I told the lady we should try and budget 500k, so we still have some change but she claim I don't value her and says I should step it up to 1.4m. She also say I must buy a ride, DAT she can't be married and trekking.

Please, go to 'run for your life ministry' and save yourself of an impending lifetime of regret. A woman that is willing to make such demands in this economy and on a frivolity such as wedding is going to be a joke of a wife. The question is, will you be happy spending that much? It sounds like the 500k is already a bit of a bother to you. I advise that every new couple should have enough funds to sustain them for at least two months assuming nothing else comes in after the wedding cos that is when marriage starts. Boss, you don try abeg. Make she add the remaining 900k if na so e easy.

Family / Re: Today's Experience Changed My View On Domestic Violence by VicStix: 9:01pm On Sep 17, 2017
Evaberry:
very few men are victims of domestic violence. Women always bear the brunt of a man's anger

No matter what a woman says or does, a man should never hit her, a man is physically stronger than a woman so hitting her will inflict serious physical damage, whereas a woman may not cause any real harm to a man.

Op the husband in your write Up should have quietly left the compound and go relax somewhere until he was sure his wife had calmed down. when a woman is angry she throws all reason and caution to the wind, it therefore falls on the man to be understanding and reasonable

Engaging in a fisticuffs with a woman is wrong and should be condemned.

I wonder why it's always the man that is expected to control his emotions, take a walk or drive, do anything to calm the situation but hit on the woman. Why do we not have an equal campaign for women to control their mouths and maintain peace? No man with accurate self knowledge should accept that kind of dishonor. How he responds is his choice and we can always disagree or agree with that choice but no man should accept that. We cannot solve the problem of domestic violence with gender sentiments, our approach must be holistic.

Any wedding that costs more than 50% of annual income in gross expenditure is no longer a wedding, its a jamboree.
Nigerians need to wake up and realize that after the jamboree, the sobriety kicks in.
I don't see the wisdom in buying crates of alcohol for old men to get drunk on or bottles of spirit for young men to revel in.
Zero sense.

50% of annual income is even still much, 50% Of annual savings is probably more like it.

April 22 remains a nightmare until when it's over..
My gal is not co-operating with me at all, keep inviting family and friends both offline and online it's like she don't understand that there is marriage after wedding.
She's busy choosing this and that while I m having difficult time sleeping and eating even when the food is served.

Sir, the hard truth is that she is not ready for marriage, maybe not to you. It is obvious you two have different values and if you can't reach a compromise on that, you may probably not be able to strike any meaningful deal with her after the wedding. You need to speak to her.
I see no reason either parties preparing for a wedding should be under pressure. But that is just me.
HML.

considering what I'm going through, I totally understand why he did it. you get to a point in life that death is considered bliss. pray not to walk in those shoes.

Brother, please be mindful of the the truth that no matter what, God is on your side. Just be sure to be on His side as well. All will be well. I speak peace into your storm and I declare that you find meaning in your process.
Stay strong.
