Please people I need the course outline for all the engineering maths courses @ Unilorin i.e Engineering Math I,Engineering Math II,Engineering Math III & Engineering Math IV |
Here is something that I got after reading up on Intercontinental bank on yahoo finance. This is from Daily Triumph newspaper Intercontinental Bank healthy, says CBN The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on Monday in Abuja gave a clean bill of health to Intercontinental Bank Plc on its financial condition to dispel speculations that the bank was going under. Customers of the bank had thronged its branches in Abuja to make withdrawals following rumour that the bank was having a financial challenge. The statement signed by the CBN governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, said the rumour was ``baseless’’. ``Intercontinental Bank Plc remains healthy and has been meeting her obligations to her customers. ``The bank has been participating actively at the foreign exchange Retail Dutch Auction (RDAS) where it bids regularly on behalf of her customers who require foreign exchange for their transactions. ``The CBN has not received any adverse report from her correspondent and/or other foreign banks of any default or unprofessional conducts,'' Soludo said. According to the governor, the CBN has been providing short-term liquidity support to all the Nigerian banks in line with CBN’s role as lender of last resort. He said the facilities were available for all the banks, including Intercontinental Bank Plc, should they require them. ``The general public is hereby advised to ignore any negative rumours or false information on Intercontinental Bank Plc or any other Nigerian bank as the information is false. ``They should continue to transact their legitimate business, including deposit placement with Intercontinental Bank Plc and other Nigerian banks,'' the Central Bank governor said. Soludo said all the banks in the country were still strong enough to manage the shocks and challenges occasioned by the global economic crises. ``The CBN also stands ready to provide liquidity support to any bank that may require it during this period and beyond,'' he added. So let the poster note that it serves him no purpose to go about tarnishing the image of the bank and that of Nigeria as usual. Please stop washing your dirty laundry in public ![]() |
Please is there a new driver's license in Nigeria ? Or better still who has recently obtained a new driver's license in Nigeria. |
adebayo300:My dear friend Aids is real and many have gone down in ignorance.Remember life is too short to live on your own experiences alone. Hm ! It's interesting to see how people are reacting to this news. I for one won't quickly take anything I hear about a cure for HIV too seriously. And like everything else in due time the truth will be revealed. |
g-rock:Hey g-rock pls where can I get free PSP games. Kindly mail the link to me @ victado64@yahoo.co.uk |
sojioguns:Hey, The NYSC is probably the best schemes ever intiated by the Nigeria govt. So what if you have this good contract to execute, how does that concern serving your country. For us to even bring up this debate tells a lot about how things have changed. We all want to be successful but who said the road to success was going to smooth. Well my personal experience with NYSC was fantastic ! I served in Abuja 2002,and yes i didn't know anybody there.I remember vividly walking from FCT office Area 11 to wuse zone 4 on several occassion, looking for a place of primary assignment, eventually found a great place to serve and I even got employed.I now have a 3 bedroom bungalow in abuja,so tell me why would i want them to scrap a scheme that gave me such an opportunity. While the whiners will complain about the lack of electricity and having to do long parades and working for merger pay during NYSC,they forget that they only get to experience all these "pains" for a short time there are people that live permanently in such situations.Anyone that attended a bordering school in Nigeria will tell you that the NYSC orientation camp is a walk in the park, when compared to life as a border. let's all remember that just like life the NYSC has it good, bad and ugly sides. It's what we do with the NYSC experiences that matters. So people let's appreciate what we have. |

yawa-ti-de:Just for your information water on earth goes through a circle and therefore it inexhaustible. Here is a scenerio when u cook with water some of it boils up and become steam, that is evaporated into the atmosphere. The remaining goes into whatever u are cooking, when u eat that the water gets into ur system and u eventually pass it out of u into the toilet, from there into a the sewage system and from there it finds it way back into the environment. So u see water is a "renewable resource". |
Please can somebody. Differentiate y = arctanh x from the first principle. |
affinity:I know many people say maths is difficult but that only because "we" are lazy. No amount of teaching will improve your mathematical skills, just like language the only way to learn more is through practice. My only advice for you is to get the Jamb syllabus and Practice, practice, practice, your maths. If you come across difficult topics/problems post them here there would always be someone to help you out but remember you have to learn the "walk your self " there is no other way in mathematics. Good luck with your preparations. |
J UNIT:The question is not as complicated as it looks at first glance. break the equation into 2 parts i.e Part A is 2x^2 which integrates into 2(x^3)/3 Part B is 5e^2x+ln7x i am assuming you mean 5e^(2x+ln 7x) because that is the only thing that makes the equation difficult to integrate. we can write part B as 5e^2x (e^ln7x) now applying integration by parts which is u∫dv =uv - v∫du let 5e^2x = dv and e^ln7x = u it follows that if u = e^ln 7x then ln u = ln 7x (Taking antilog of both sides) du/u = dx/x (Obtained by letting 7x = k. dk/dx = 7 & du/dk = u/k therefore du/dx = dk.dk/dx ) therefore du = 7 dx ( u = 7x) also to obtain v we integrate 5e^2x therefore v = 5/2 .e^2x Part B becomes ∫5e^2x (e^ln7x) = (e^ln7x) 5/2e^2x - ∫ 5/2e^2x .7dx which after integrating becomes = (e^ln7x) 5/2e^2x - (35/4) e^2x Joining parts A & B together we obtain: 2(x^3)/3 + (e^ln7x) 5/2e^2x - (35/4) e^2x which is the solution. |
Hey, Find below solution to your problems: 1.Show that (1 + sin x) (1 + secant x) = Tan x ( 1 + cosine x) (1 + cosecant x) (please, note: it is numerators (1 + sin x)(1 + secant x) over denominators 1 + cosine x) (1 + cosecant x) = Tan x) Remember that secant x = 1/cosine x and cosecant x=1/sine x therefore you can rewrite the equation as: {(1 + sin x). (1 + 1/cosine x )}/{ ( 1 + cosine x). (1 + 1/sine x)} = Tan x you can further simplify the numerator by rewriting (1 + sin x) (1 + 1/cosine x ) as (1 + sin x). (cosine x + 1 ).1/cosine x (i.e (1 + 1/cosine x )= (cosine x + 1)/cosine x using cosine x as the LCM) Likewise the denominator also becomes ( 1 + cosine x). (sine x + 1).1/sine x thus the whole equation is rewritten as {(1 + sin x). (cosine x + 1 ).1/cosine x}/{( 1 + cosine x). (sine x + 1).1/sine x} = tan x simplifying further equation reduces to , (1/cosine x)/(1/sine x) = tan x since {(1 + sin x). (cosine x + 1 )}/{( 1 + cosine x). (sine x + 1)} reduces to 1 therefore the equation becomes sine x/cosine x = Tan x which shows the left hand side of the equation is equal to the right hand side. 2. i 370 = 370 degrees ii -430 10' = -430.028 degrees 3. Angles in sine radian A very easy way is to convert from radian to degrees and then check values on the sine tabl formula for converting to degree is degree = Radian * 180/Pie therefore for i) 21 radian will be 1202.72 degree which is 0.8413 on the sine table. ii) Pie/12 radian will be 15 degrees which is 0.2589 on the sine table. I hope this not coming late. Good luck |
