In your mind, you think Aregbe is a genuine abi? He is a failed and hungry politicial like the other EX... Outside governance, they cannot survive. Aregbe is a backstaber and God will disgrace them all in 2017 with all their evil plots. Let me remind you just in case you are ignorant that God allows who He wants to ascend a thrown or position of leadership. Against all odds both internal and external factors, God allow Tinubu to win the 2023 elections. All the parties rigged the election no doubt but God will still have the final approval. So far, Tinubu has started the restructuring that all the candidates proposed, degulving power to the regions, stabilized the FX double rates, supported tertiary students with loan support, make credit available to genuine business owners, bail out governors fron debts, paid backlogs of foreign loans that have barred investors from investing in the economy. Should I go on? Except you are myopic, you'd disagree with this progress. Also, in the coming prosperity, if you don't believe, you may never partake in it. For as a man thinketh, sees and believes, so be it unto him. Ofunaofu: |
How long will people like you keep wailing over PO's inability to garner the required 25% of voters spread across the country? It is so so disgusting that you people still believe PO won 2023 election. And unfortunately, PO will never be President of this country because he is a religious bigots and an IPOB sympathizer. God does not sleep, He knows us all better than ourselves. More importantly. PO should go and made peace with the late leader of Biafra, Chief Odumegwu Ojukwu whom he sworn to never to leave APGA till he dies. Does Ojugwu look like someone you can play with and take he words for granted? PO has entered one chance. Whoever knows him should tell him to find a way to revoke the curse he out upon himself or else he will leave with the repercussion all his life. If he will be truthful to himself, let him publicly demounce this oak to Ojukwu. SeeWahala: |
aminauiade:What she should have done after the court judgement, but her stubbornness and wrong public sentiment is urging her on. As an adult, shouldn't she have know better? In the final analysis, she will be disgraced. |
okpouman:The same Peter Obi arrested Nasir El Rufai in Anambra for not notifying him before entering Anambra State when he was a governor. Though he has been forgiven because of the coalition, it is on record that he did same. |
Pakute:Which of them have the finance mucle to take on Atiku? None. So invariably, Atiku will naturally emerge as the presidential candidate. He will settle others conveniently. |
Really? And he is taking all the bold decisions that previous Presidents could not take because they didn't have the "BALLS or WILLPOWER" to do so? Change is a contant thing and it is not always favourable to most people, yet they want things to improve. How? If only some of you can just push aside hatred and be objective for once, you willbe able to see clearly where President is driving Nigeria to. However, time will tell. LagosOrigin: |
There is nothing to demarket, Obi can never because Nigeria President. He doesn't know what it takes to do so, Atiku have capacity than him. Even at that, Atiku desperation cannot get the Presidency. |
You are still dreaming in 2023. We have passed that year long ago. The frenzy and hype upon which Peter Obi rode in 2023 is long gone. He has consistently lied over the last 2 years about most things he said. He is now ready to sign an agreement with the devil just to become president and some of you don't see anything wrong with that. Please whoever knows Obi or have direct contact with him should go and tell him that the vow he made to Ojukwu never to leave APGA will continuously hunt him to his death. He can only become President under APGA not any other party. He will continuously fail at every attempt he makes even if he defects to APC.. highchief1: |
KEVIND:That is not true. The problem with most people is that they want to make it big time without putting in the required hard work and experience. In life, nothing good comes easy. Have you heard what Alhaji Dangote said recently? He said it took him about 30 solid years to becomes a successful man that he is today. But the young generation wants to get to where he is today without putting in the hard work and years. It won't happen. We need to set the foundation before building on it. |
Peter Obi will never be the President of Nigeria. When he entered into a bond or agreement under oath with Ojukwu that he will never lea it off can waveve APGA in the face of the whole world, has he forgotten? And he believes he can wave it off just like that? He must be joking. He has jumped from APGA to PDP and now LP. Which is the next party he is likely to join? An unstable person is someone without ideology. Obi does not have a stable ideaology for someone to follow. |
cyril10:It is about bullying. It is about doing the right thing. Nyesom Wike stood his ground for what should be done. His arguement is that positions are distributed amongst the zones rather than one zone over shadowing another. Atiku hijacked the last PDP primary while the Chairmanship was still within the same zone, which is against the party's constitution. Did Wike do wrong by insisting that the right thing be done especially being the major Governor who funded the party's activities when other Governors could not? Underming Wike's ambition, let's cut him some slack for standing tall when others shy away. |
DeLaRue:I concur with your submission. But haters and biased people will never see it that way unfortunately. It is simply unacceptable. Period |
tollyboy5:How can you compare a virgin project like the coastal high way to an existing power distribution? It will take longer time to gradually replace the already electricity system in use than just construct a totally new road without any obstruction. Do you understand? |
I still wonder how Okowa and his successor were able to carry all the PDP structure in Delta and defected nto APC. It ultimately means they had a firm grip of the whole structure and were in good working relationships with them. It has never happened before in the history of Nigeria politics. Also, it is an indication of a good relationship between both leaders. Unlike other states where hardly has the new governor being sworn in, witch hunting starts, as if that was what they were elected to do. The new governor did not necessarily have to decamp with his predecessor but he did. An indication that the plan may have been muted long before now. Delta state has been a PDP state like forever but nothing to show for it even when they were in the ruling party. I am sure they made the choice to defect because of the leadership style of the President which is all encompassing irrespective of party affiliation. Anyways, I am glad Delta state has aligned this current administration because I am sure there will be visible and meaningful progress soon than later. |

Really? Apoogies. Jonathan was the weakest President Nigeria has ever had. He had no hold over any of the govenment agencies, parastala, MDG's or functionaries. Everyone had their way under him. Instead of his administration dishing out instructions and expecting reports, they accept whatever is brought to their table. Customs, Immigration, FIRS, NNPC etc, gives returns to his administrations after they have done their own expenses. Who is reporting to who? The achievements of PBAT adminstartions is unprecedented. 1. No previous government had the boldness to remove fuel subsidy despite knowing that it was draining our reserves dry. 2. No previous government had the boldness to get authenticity to the separation of the state government from the local government despite knowing it was the right thing to do. Why? Because the Governors dictates to the President. 3. Which previous government had the courage to give the 6 geo-political regions economics power to develop their region? 4. Which previous government had the boldness to challenge the FX catel and dare to regulate them as it's been observed currently? 5. Which previous government was able to galvanize the huge influx of foreign investments into Nigeria like this administartion had done? 6. The strategic offsetting of huge backlogs of the foreign dept within a very short period of time was historic. No previous government had ever done it. I could go on. Except you truly have an inner eye to see the progress been achieved by this administration, you will be amongst those who will never stop complaining yet opportunities pass them by everyday. Choose to be different, don't follow the crowd of baseless and uninformed critiques and critics. |
It will be tragic indeed. What has separated Lagos State from other States in terms of development? Continuity of the goveenment in power and policy. Unfortunately, whenever new par take over from another, they jettison running policies and begin to witch hunt their predecessor. Isn't that waste of public resources and valuable time? Has such moves ever yielded any meaningful fruit? NO! So, it is advisable for all people who are against this administration to have change of heart and attitude because whatever a man wish himself, the universe concors. A typical example is America. The people who voted in Trump as their President, aren't they regretting it now? The policy that have stabilized the USA and the world over the years are been jettisoned and affecting their stability and peace. Unfortunately, they will have to live with their choice for the next 4 years. This current administration uner the leadership of PBAT is here to change the history of Nigeria for the better. Let's all support him to do so. |
Does he really understand what it mean to fail in the real sense of the word? Ask the governors if they had ever collected the kind of amount they are currently being given. And at local government levels, the rate of developmental activities has greatly increased. The issue of fuel price is gradully coming down; the price of food is gradually coming down; the influx of foreign investment has trippled; the geo-political regions has being given the go-ahead to develop their regions and create competitive economic activities. These indices spurn growth that will ultimatly affect the masses. Whoever has not been able to see these progressive growth under this administrations will never see it. The change is upon us, prepsre yourself to partake in it or else, you will be left out completely just it was in the old testament. |
DesChyko:When you talk about one-party state, that can be achieved either through intimidation & blackmail and or effective and result oriented leadership. In this case which do you think is the reason why there are defections from other parties to the APC? |
Georgry:It is unfortunate that some people have adamantly refused to see the progress that has been achieved by PBAT moves thus far. 1. Which previous President have dared to removed the Oil subsidy? The cabals wouldn't hear of it because of their selfish interest? They were afraid to be replaced. PBAT did it, daming the consequences because it was milking the country dry. 2. Previous President had never considered the issue of Local Government autonomy because the Governors dictates to them. No Governor can dictate to PBAT because he has been in same saddle before now. 3. No previous President succeeded in creating a geo-political economic commission because they wouldn't know how to manage it. As at today, PBAT has created for all the 6 geo-political zones and given them the go ahead to develop their zones, which invariably is tilting towards regional governance. 4. The present revenue the state government are getting as at today is unprecedented. They have more than 3 to 4 times what they have ever received as a state government. This is due to the removal of Oil subsidy and the offsetting of foreign loans as well as inflow of massive foreign direct investments into the country. 5. Through the decentralisation of governance, grassroot people are getting more involved and activities are picking up gradually. The hard times are over, it is time to start enjoying the dividend of democracy. 6. There is massive infrastructural drive across the 6 geo-political region in order to drive economic activities and reduce travel time within the country. 7. Should I go on? If you have not been able to see these progress as listed above, then it is obvious you are fixated of negativism and personal hate or bais against PBAT. |
Rilwayne001:The point is not about turning the country to a one party state, it's his work that is speaking for him. Even in Lagos, did he compel anyone to join APC? NO! He laid a solid foundation that others are building on today which has placed Lagos in the global map. By the time he is done putting structures and checks in place, all the systems oif governance will run their natural course. That is what majority of the people don' understand about PBAT. |
The question most of you fail to ask is "Didn't Obasa see it coming?" But he was blinded by misplaced priorities and ambition. Those who care to study system should know that there is a governing council in lagos call GAC (Governor Advisory Council) which comprises of prominent and royal families in lagos amongst others. These are the decision makers in Lagos affairs, though they may not be visible to the pubic. So, Obasa didn't consult them, didn't seek approval before seemingly declaring his ambition to run for governship in 2027. He should have know better having been in the speaker since 2015. Also, while there were effort to impeace him, wasn't he aware? He probably waved it concluding that it will never happen? I believe his eyes are opened now and have learnt his lessons. He should have even tried to vier to be a senator rather than a governor. Everything in life have processes and people need to study systems in order to take advantage of it where applicable. |

It meant cheap crude oil from the US. Nigeria cannot meet Dangote crude oil demand for now or else it won't be able to supply other merchants who have booked ahead. So, Dangote refinery gets some quantity from Nigeria and others from abroad. Cantonese: |

Yes I have with my Gtb self service. I didn't need to queue at the bank to link it. |
With all the maltreatment and embarrassment you have been put through, isn't it wise you resign? If you ever think Obaseki will trust you again, forget it. And he would never allow you run for the governor of Edo state. Politicians don't forgive nor forget, their interest come first. |
No alignment will work because Tinubu will mesmerize them all by his performance. Just see as event unfolds. |
"Effort in futility" till Peter Obi is sworn in.[/tquote] Sworn in on which basis? Of even he could proof that Yakubu reneged on his press releases, how will that account for PO garnering more votes to oust Atiku tallkless of Tinubu? Open your eyes to the fact. |

He would not even try it with a President of Northern extraction. Where was he during Mr Buhari's government.
