funmi, u can choose to pay only for subscription if ur account on acca is stl active; dat is if uve nt been delisted from acca register cos if by now uve nt paid for ur subscription, ur name mite av been removed from acca register; if this is the case, thn u mite av to pay all amount due to acca b4 u can be reinstated; bt if stl active thn u can pay jst for ur subscription.

Insourcing is a new company caved out from firstbank, and till date all recruitment process is bein handled by firstbank staffs in the name of insourcing limited, dats was why initially d advert was on firstbank's site and yea its 'contract' job.

With the context of this country, iv applied for my transcript about 2 mths ago even paid in advance for courier to make it faster, can you believe that my transcript is not yet ready talkless of sending to acca but other documents in my custody are through include the fee. As stated, the registration is closing on or before Aug 15. Please what can i do, its really frustrating. Thx

Just send in your application with photocopies of your credentials. You will still be registered and you might still get the exemptions without the transcript (that's if you have a degree in Accounting).

Thats is not true, all u need to write dec exam is ur initial registration fee and ur documents need to get to acca uk on or b4 the 15th of June 2008. U are not required to make any other payment cos ur initial registration payment covers ur subscription for this year.

I don't think you should go through any stress in making payment for ACCA registration or exams, especially if you are a banker. As a banker, I make my payments to ACCA through bank drafts (foreign currency draft). Though, I work for an international bank, but I think most of our local banks can raise FCY drafts too. Raise the draft in favour of The Association of Certified Chartered Accountant, pouch it and send it as a registered mail through our post office. It will only take five days. The post office will charge you a token sum of N500 only.

I think I av been able to allay some people's fear on ACCA payments.

I guess u tryin to make an advert here bt sincerely u can make a foreign draft for ur payment but the bank charges are very much on d high side(talkin from experience). bt its not a crime givin it a try.

For all those intending to write dec exam, I would stop initial ACCA student registration for Dec Exam by August 10, afta which u can only register for june 2009 exam; cos ur documents need to gt to acca uk by august 15

I presently roll with firstbank and i know athoritatively that entry level is 104k-100k.Therefore would-be transaction officers could take home as much as 60k-80k.And thats not all.On confirmation you take a big block of money home.Leave also inclusive not to talk of housing.Apart from the money aspect lets look at the growth aspect.My man who is in the financing industry can not move as fast on the ladder than those of us in the banking industry.The industry is expanding and therefore more hands are continually needed.I think to progress in this forum men should find out the facts before blowing.As for the interview on firstbank i think that is a lie.The bank just accepted the cvs and ve not called for test yet.

Test, interview and medical test has been conducted for 1st batch of T.O's, and 2 wks induction trainin is presently goin on at 1stbank T& in Iganmu. we were told dat they ar payin T.O's 40k+allowance(didnt mention aw much dat is), bt they said take home pay is 40k imagin. meenn this is not it at all
