My brother no one can tell you what's going on, there are so many possibilities, the embassy said they are not accepting applications and they will tell when it will change, so its possible we might rebook again we are waiting for their info, Benin, Ghana, Kenya all are going for interviews but it seems the German embassy are tired of Nigerian students, even south Africa with over 100000 cases are getting interviewed, it shows how life can be so bias, and worse is that they choose their dates, the German embassy here treat us like shit, causing emotional pains and making people stagnant, They should do whatever they want. They won't even reply mails, they post articles on their website and don't go ahead to implement it, with a country like Nigeria any one can do anything.

I am not even bothered about AD because i am in Ghana. There are dates available till August. Just pick any date (for CAT A sha) and go for your interview. I am just praying for AL and also to score 80 or above in A1 exam.

God will do it for us all. We will all be in Deutschland by Oct/Nov. Amen

How can we be eligible for appointment in Ghana?

Mechatronics is a well structured course. Previously automobiles are 80% mechanical and 20% Electronics but now the reverse is the case. The Mechanical Engineers are worthless in the modern automobile industry, which leads to the course Mechatronics.

Mechatronics combines both mechanical and Electronics... and You can cannot study Electronics with Knowing how to program hardwares using C/C++ or similar which leads to the Computer Science part of the Mechatronics.

In Mechatronics( You learn 3D-Design for Prototypes, Mechanics, Electronics and Embedded Systems principles and more).

You become an electrician, or technician by doing Ausbildung, maybe that’s what you meant by training for 4 years. This is no way a university degree, don’t try to compare it or it’s structure to a University.

If you have Bachelor/Master Degree, you’re an Engineer not a technician. It’s 2 big different thing.

There's no need for you to explain. I'm not sure they know what Mechatronics is. He even said no students in the course, I laugh in Spanish

Please I need your advice, just got info that enrollment has been postponed and can be done online however the school can and will defer admission if you can't make it by then.
My initial plan was to defer since I couldn't get AD since January. But now that the requirements for CAT A would change by April 1st. Do you think I should cancel and rebook now?

Hint: if u already have ur admission letter without AD and u qualify for cat A, quickly cancel ur booking and rebook during office hours using a start date of July and AD will land in less than 2 days. But If AD nor show within 2 or 3 days then them don change am again be that.

What about with start date of October??

Actually doctor appointment is easy to get, one don’t run to hospital with every little case when you have house doctor (Hausarzt) but there re something’s u would wish u have “Agbo”(Herbal Medicine).

Here you don’t get important medicine without doctor prescription unlike Nigeria.

You can cancel ur current appointment and rebook for winter semester using the actual resumption date of the school

Guys, the major question we have not asked here is,

HOW MANY PEOPLE GOT INTERVIEW INVITE FROM CATEGORY A?

HOW MANY PEOPLE GOT INTERVIEW INVITE FROM CATEGORY B?

Because the way am seeing this thing, it seems Germany have finally shut there door on legitimate Nigerian students especially those in category B. It just as if we are outcasts now.

Take for instance, last year I applied for a Visa interview date in February. I didn't get appointment date at all. By July, no interview date yet. I actually went through a very hopeless guy in Germany who was forming guru in embassy issues.

It was not until August that I decided to visit the embassy website by myself. Lo and Behold, I was meant to be in Category A. Because I have a first class! I quickly cancelled the previous application and applied under category A. In one week, I got an interview date for october!

But based on the changes implemented last year, I can't apply again because I graduated before 2017. From my experiences, I was able to deduce that the embassy does not really care about category B applicants. I may be wrong though. So I ask again,

IS THERE ANYBODY VIEWING THIS THREAD THAT GOT INTERVIEW DATE FROM CATEGORY B? At least from August last year? Or do you know somebody that did? Please answer as this will help dispel a lot of worries and concerns.

I booked category A since January 21st and I'm yet to get a date. I've been thinking of canceling and rebooking since they updated the requirements for cat A just last week and i qualify as well
