Of you do exactly that you won't hit green. When lowering the dish, you need to shift it like one cm to your left while standing at the back. Lnb to be at 9 o'clock, it's little better than 3 o'clock.

I don't know why people are finding it difficult to track nigcomsat, today I track nigcomsat for two clients and I did not spent up to five minutes in the sat for each client, step is track DSTV sat, and get the highest possible signal, tight the azimuth a bit, loose the elavation, put nigcomsat frequency begin to lower the elavation u must hit green on that TP, let your lnbf skew be on 9 0clock

looking @ the footprint, 60cm should be enough in any part of nigeria. but any cloudiness in weather may affect ur signal as that particular tp (12518H29500) is very weak but there is a tp that is always active (12616V12500), even when 12518H is red.
nb; it covers the whole of westafrica

Did you follow the numerous tips that have been given? Chances are that obstacles like overhead water tanks or multi-storey buildings may be in the line-of-sight of your dish because of the Sat angle. You may need to check this & maybe relocate. Otherwise, post pictures of your setup and the house maybe able to further help.

if you are using 60cm dish.you may need to change to 1m or 90cm
