As last week saw the release of the 2017/2018 EPL fixture, many clubs all over the world including English clubs have been strengthening their team in one way or the other. The red devil will be the team to talk about today, as they seem to be heavily linked with major players and their tenancity in signing key players to the missing roles in the team. Jose Mourinho and the red devils seems to mean business in preparation for the coming season. let's see 3 reasons why we can make this conclusion. I think as much bro. But the transfer could bring huge profit for United in my opinion and that could be a big boost for the team. Selling of jerseys, image rights, advertising companies and a host of others |
Nbote:you are right truly. But it's getting too much, same with Di Maria and Sanchez when they were there. But they should do something about it before it discourages good players from going there. |

Spanish league is arguably one of the best leagues in the world. The spanish league is known for its intelligent ability of securing highly prominent players in the world, most notable football icons have one way or the other passed through the spanish league, players like Ronaldinho who played for Barcelona, Zidane who played for Real madrid, Raul, Roberto Carlos just to mention a few. Infact, currently the two leading football players in the world play in the Spanish league. Recently, another tax evasion scandal has been raised against the Portuguese skipper Christiano Ronaldo, that if proven guilty might land him in jail terms. Not quite long ago was that of Lionel Messi, and this just baffles me, I kept wondering if there is a loophole in the Spanish system of collecting tax, is the tax system in Spain too strict or if the players are intentionally evading tax. Alexis Sanchez who once played for Barcelona was also once accused of tax evasion fraud... Read further on http://viewingcentres..com.ng/2017/06/ronaldos-tax-evasion-accusations-way.html |
In the wake of a disastrous start to the Afcon 2019 qualifier, the super Eagles team is about to take the path of the age-long tradition of permutation, hoping to qualifier at the mercies of others when they fail to help themselves. Sooner or later they will start hoping a team will defeat another team to give them the hope of qualifying, a situation that could have been avoided in the first instance. The super eagles have started on the same disappointing route when they lost at home to a determined Bafana Bafana team in the first match of the AFCON qualifying round. The super eagles team were so disappointing and cold throughout the game, that you will find it difficult to believe its the same team that... The most fundamental root to success in any team sport especially involving an opponent is the tactical organisation of the team. This is also true in football, as this tactical organisation is famously referred to as formation. There exist so many types of formation in the soccer world, and there had been transition from one formation to another over the years. For example, football according to wikipedia was believed to have started with a formation that involved majority of the players playing forward i.e always attacking, this was depicted in the first international game between Scotland and England on 30 November 1872 when England played with 8 forwards in a 1-1-8 formation, while Scotland played six forwards in a 2-2-6 formation. As funny as it sounds, it was believed that the one defender will always get loose balls while the one or two midfielders will kick the ball up-field for other players to chase. Decades after that saw different types of formation in football, but one that seems very successful and stood the test of time was the traditional 4-4-2 formation. This formation was so popular that a notable magazine was named after it. But recently, it seems the formation is getting outdated as we have very few teams imbibing this formation. As beautiful as it is, what has happened to it?... get more on http://viewingcentres..com.ng/2016/12/what-has-happened-to-traditional-4-4-2.html |

Dramatically, the season has come to a meaningful end, we are now in the part of the year where transfers are made, sometimes as expected, other times a big churn of surprises. The time of the season when each club play a dazzling part in keeping the club's hopefuls for the following season from the potential snatchers with tempting offers. Chelsea is one of the clubs who has to work hard in keeping their stars from potential snatchers as their has been a heavy link between Hazard and Real madrid and Ac Milan with Fabregas. In the light that one of this two players has to go and the other will stay, as a Chelsea fan who would you prefer? Here are few of the comments and my sole point of view... more on http://viewingcentres..com.ng/2017/05/chelsea-transfers-i-will-choose.html |
"Le professuer" as Arsene Wenger is popularly called owing to his French background and his intelect in football managerial skills. Arsene Wenger was born in Strasbourg, France on the 22nd of October 1949. He joined Arsenal as a coach in 1996, and has since then been the longest serving coach Arsenal ever had and evidently the most successful so far in Arsenal. Many football lovers for different reasons believed Wenger actually bagged a Phd in Ecnomics. Is that so?... read more on http://viewingcentres..com.ng/2016/11/arsene-wenger-real-professor-in_22.html |
The long awaited moment is here with us, the final episode of the F.A cup for this season. Spiking this final up is the rivalry of the two teams involved, another London derby you will agree. The third time Chelsea will be playing against their London rivals this season. Judging with interviews, speculations and analysis majority of the football fans tipped Chelsea ahead of Arsenal including the boss himself, Arsene Wenger. But as technically compact and brilliant as the Chelsea team is, something vital still gives Arsenal a pool of hope ahead of this final. Let's take a brief look on how both sides are favoured. History, so far has played a major impact in the world of soccer. History again could come in favour of Arsene Wenger... more on http://viewingcentres..com.ng/2017/05/fa-cup-final-history-supporting-arsenal.html |

Again, fury, spites and condemnation sets in anytime these french internationals are featured in their respective clubs. This season, both strikers seems to be out of form judging from their productivity and influence on the pitch. But of course, football fans in my favourite viewing centre have so many comments that shows their dislikes for these players present form. Karim Benzema plays for Real Madrid as their centre forward while Olivier Giroud plays for Arsenal, a London club. This season both players have struggled to be prolific in their respective clubs culminating the height of dissatisfaction football fans have with their forms. Benzema is popularly called "ogede" (meaning banana) among the Yoruba speaking football fans in my favourite viewing centre. You might ask 'why "banana?"' Interestingly for over a decade, hardly will there be a match by either Barcelona or Real Madrid that this decade-long debate will not surface. To intensify the flames of the burning debates, these two titans have shared the most rated football award Balloon d' Or among themselves for about a decade now, they seem to dominate the football world with their unimaginable but unique prowess. The Argentine Lionel Messi has 5 Balloon d' Or to himself while the Portuguese Christiano Ronaldo has 4 of the notable award in his kitten. Interestingly but sadly, it seems these football stars have sucessfully divided the whole football community in two, featuring the pro-Messi faction and the pro-Ronaldo faction. When you want to get the best amusement and the most heated version of this argument with scintillating histories and statistics by football fans, try and watch the El'classico in a viewing centre. There, you will probably hear "Ororo" referring to C.Ronaldo by the Ronaldo fans and probably you will keep hearing "Ijaya" as Messi is popularly called by the Messi fans. The Ronaldo fans belief that Ronaldo is better than Messi while the Messi fans belief Messi is far better than Ronaldo. The Messi fans supports their point by.... see more on http://viewingcentres..com.ng/2017/04/my-view-on-messi-ronaldo-age-long.html |
In the recent clash of rivals between Manchester United and Liverpool at Trafford, an incident occurred during the match that gave birth to the Liverpool goal, this incident simultaneously has caused a bit of uproar and argument among football fans. This I knew from what happened at my favourite viewing centre, the argument went on almost throughout the match giving the basis for the half time talk in my favourite viewing centre. The misunderstanding was if Paul Pogba's handball that resulted in a penalty kick for Liverpool was intentional. There were different factions to this argument. Some non-Manchester United fans thought it was intentional, while devoted fans cover-up for their player by arguing that it wasn't intentional. From what I discover even among United fans we have the Pogba factions and the anti-Pogba factions. The anti-Pogba faction believed that the handball was intentional, though funny enough none of them was able to give reasons for believing it was intentional, it was later a middle-aged man said "we know Pogba, if it was not intentional he would have flared up at the referee's decision and that he won't be sober as he was after committing the foul". Though, that seems to be the only reason they could give. On the other hand those who believed it was a mistake based their argument on the fact that a player that wants to win could not have intentionally caused a penalty, which was later converted by the opponent in the process. The way they argue their point was so deep that it carried the sense and meaning that anybody that thought the act was intentional must be out of his/her mind as no player in his right senses would have done that. But i think their own argument too had a weak point, I'll explain that shortly. What I believe both factions refuse to understand is that the incident being intentional or not intentional is 50-50. Those that believed it could never be intentional has forgotten something called player tricks. Looking closely and severally at the replay, I came up with two conclusions. First one is that when Pogba jumped he didn't have the intention of hand-balling, but while on air, the ball suddenly spin away from where he calculated to nod, then he discovered that the Liverpool player contesting with him might gain the nodding, then he did the player trick by flipping the hand towards ball and simultaneously simulating his head in that direction to fake the referee. And if you watch closely, his hand went up and down suddenly and too sharply suggesting he knew what he was doing. Well as I said above, it's 'suggesting'. Secondly when the ball spin away from his calculated nodding, the handball might have just been a reflex action that he couldn't control. Either way, my opinion is that both factions should not be rigid with their points. It's a 50-50 way, nobody knew what Pogba was thinking, just speculations. Welcome again to another segment of one of the famous debate that radiates among football lovers in my favourite viewing centre. This time around, the centre of the topic is John Mikel obi, the current skipper of the Super Eagles of Nigeria and presently a player in Chinese club Tianjin Teda. Mikel came to limelight following the FIFA World Youth Championship under coach Samson Siasia wher Mikel played as an attacking midfielder and was famous for his charismatic movement and sleek passes. Nigeria came second in the competition due to a loss to Argentina and he was rated as the second best player of the tournament with Lionel Messi being the best player of the tournament. Following that was the controversial transfer that saw him make a move to Chelsea after Manchester United's claim of previously signing the young lad. After some court cases,... see more at http://viewingcentres..com.ng/ |

The first premier league game of the calendar year for the blues. Revenge, show of top class or fight of the titans, give this fixture any name you want, its worth it. Tonight is a night for the Londoners, a possible night for Chelsea to beat Arsenal's unbeaten record and set up a new one while simultaneously winning another London rival Tottenham. This is a match that everyone is anticipating to watch. A match that came too soon after the marauding first leg encounter in which records were broken. Now is the day that could either be a sweet revenge for Tottenham, a show of top class football by Chelsea or clash of the titans by the two sides, having in mind that the two team were said to have had the tightest defence this season judging with the number of goals conceeded, with Chelsea 13 and Tottenham 14. Let's take a brief look at some interesting history and events that surrounds this match to be played in White Hartlane...... more talking points on http://viewingcentres..com.ng/2017/01/match-day-preview-tottenham-vs-chelsea_4.html |
