I was in love
I literally had dreams of me marrying her
I will watch a movie and see a family and imagine her
Or see a romantic movie and think about her
Got so bad! I eventually had to sacrifice my future for her (turned down a life changing opportunity)
because I didn't want to lose her
When I hear a friend say his girlfriend left him because of s*x
I became better
Money I became more generous
Because of affection I will go to the beach write our names in sand
Arrange a picnic basket, cook and take her there

I may be many things but when I want to express love I go all out

Good afternoon Fellow Nairalanders, I have a girlfriend that we have been very cool together for a about a year now, during her service year that we are far apart, we never had challenges or any issues but as soon as finish her service year and came back home(we stay close to each other) things started taking a different turn, I have to call her severally before she picks a times and worst still all our channels of communication started breaking down from everyday chatting in the past to no chatting now, if I needs her attention so that we can spend some time together she gives excuse that wouldn't make it possible, worst still she started using the picture of another guy as profile pics in a social network which she believe I'm passive there(I might not change profile pics for weeks) but I'm not, when I tried asking her about who the guy was and all that she will change the topic but I do play along as if I'm carried away too. She has been unemployed since the completion of her NYSC and I happen to be an assistant HR Manager in the company I work with. an instant job offer came in one of our sister company and it should be filled as soon as possible, but I called my so called g.f to tell her about the offer(I planned not to tell her on phone) which I'm sure she will be given the job because all the odds are in her favour coupled with my influence. She told me we will meet later in the day that she went out, I called her continuously for the rest of the day but she ignored it. I was suppose to send her SMS which I know she will respond if I do that but I didn't because I wanted to test her loyalty and all that. To cut the story short the position has been filled today by someone' else(we had no public holiday today) . I sent her text this morning to tell her about my reason for continuously calling her yesterday, she did reply as expected. A part of me is feeling guilty about not informing her using SMS and another is saying she isn't really worth it that I didn't really do something bad. Note: On relationship, my philosophy has always been hope for the best and expect the worse so I'm ready to bear anything that comes out of it(break up) and I'm ready\already moved on.
