Health / A Mind Blowing Testimony I Am A Nursing Mother And Grandmother At 60. by vikyembassy2000(f): 4:10am On Nov 18, 2017
A MIND BLOWING TESTIMONY

I had my first child at 17, life was good until the journey to have another baby began. For 38 years, I battled the delay, in the course of which I spent about 9Million Naira on IVF. All that money went down the drain but I never gave up even at 55.

My first son was already married and about to start his own family, when one faithful day, I came across Natural fertility therapy. As a medical practitioner, I was skeptical but I made up my mind to research the products and what I discovered ignited my hope. I just knew this is it.

To God be the glory within few months of the therapy, I fell pregnant. I put to bed a baby girl at 56. While still basking in the euphoria of being a mother again at 56, a year later, my first son made me a grandmother. The joy in my heart was extraordinary. All the doctors who had treated me at one point or another during the 38 years were astonished. Wait for this, wait for this, this is amazing, I fell pregnant again at 58 and put to bed a bouncing baby boy.

Not only did the therapy make me a mother again, it also made me younger, with a youthful skin and gorgeous body at 60, my friend's say I look 16 not 60. I am aging with grace, thanks to God and all the herbal supplements fortified with lots of vitamins, minerals & amino acids to service all the organs of the body and revive dead cells and grow new ones. No matter how good you eat, if you are on daily supplements, you not yet there. Take it from me.

As a medical practitioner, I honestly recommend this therapy for every couple trying to conceive. Infact, I have also been using the therapy for my patients and I thank God for the number of babies, God has been using me to bring into families and into the world. Many who have been written off by medical science, are now joyful mothers. So whatever any doctor has told you concerning the cause for infertility, I can confidently tell you that I am a living testimony that Swissgarde natural fertility therapy works. I am a nursing mother and grandmother at 60.Praise God.

Ours Is A Combination Of Organic Products That Will Shrink It For Life If You Follow the Usage Instructions & The Lifestyle/Diet Change. An estimated one in four women of childbearing age have fibroid but the good news is that fibroids can be treated.
Heavy bleeding from fibroids and other gynecology conditions can cause anemia.
Anemia symptoms vary depending on the cause of your anemia but may include:
Fatigue
Weakness
Pale skin
A fast or irregular heartbeat
Shortness of breath
Chest pain
Dizziness
Cognitive problems
Cold hands and feet
Headache
Approximately 25 percent of reproductive age women have absent iron stores, and any amount of bleeding will result in anemia for them. Iron deficiency is almost always due to blood loss.
Abnormal bleeding due to Fibroids within the uterine lining (submucosal) can cause severe bleeding, even if they are small. These fibroids can increase the area of the lining, and also increase menstrual flow and decrease the normal ability of the lining to stop the bleeding.
Fibroids within the uterine muscle (intramural) that are larger or close to the cavity will increase blood flow to the uterus and affect the normal systems that control bleeding in the uterus. These fibroids will also increase the size of the cavity of the uterus, thereby increasing bleeding.
Increased bleeding in the uterine cavity due to these types of fibroids can result in the formation of clots. Pain is caused by distension of the womb and passage of the clots. Many women pass very large clots and have extreme pains with their menstrual cycle as a result.

Are you tired of depending on your inhaler and medications for asthma treatment?

You may be considering trying a natural remedy to manage your asthma — but first, get a scoop on what really works in dealing with this situation.

Health / The Story Of My Struggle With Fibroid~how I Got Rid Of Fibroid Without Surgery by vikyembassy2000(f): 7:32am On Nov 01, 2017
THE STORY OF MY STRUGGLE WITH FIBROID

About three years ago I passed out at work and was rushed to the hospital. At that time, I was on my menstrual period and had very heavy bleeding.

My periods were very heavy for the first three to four days and I would have to wear both pads and tampons at the same time. The bleeding was so bad that I had to change both of them every 2 hours.

I normally stay at home on the first three days of my period but on this particular day I needed to be at the office to sign some very important paperwork. About thirty minutes before leaving for the day I fainted. My co-workers rushed me to the hospital. While there the doctor told me that I lost a lot of blood and he wanted to give me a blood transfusion. I declined that treatment. I declined the blood transfusion because I didn’t need it since I wasn’t dying.

I was just anemic from having heavy menstrual periods. The doctor was not pleased with my decision but he didn’t force the issue and I was sent home later that night with some drugs.

The reason my periods were so heavy at that time was because of the three fibroid I had in my uterus. I first found out about them back in 2012 and in 2013 I had them removed with surgery. Two years later they came back even bigger. My doctor wanted to schedule another surgery but if it didn’t work the first time why would I go under the knife again for a second time? So I decided to just deal with the pain and heavy bleeding and search for a natural way to get rid of them FOR GOOD!

Searching for natural ways to get rid of my fibroids was not easy. I saw several advertisements of all kinds of treatments to shrink fibroids. I was a little skeptical but I was desperate to get rid of the fibroids so I tried one in particular which didn’t work. I was still having heavy painful bleeding with lots of clots. I noticed that the soreness in my breast was gone, but after going for another scan, I was told that my fibroids were still there. I was so discouraged that I scheduled an appointment with my doctor to discuss other possibilities for removing the fibroids.

About two months later, while surfing on the internet I saw Swissgarde post on Facebook talking about how to get rid of fibroid naturally without surgery. I was very skeptical about it. I didn’t even bother to follow the link in the post to read more. Two days later, as I sat alone in the sitting room feeling hopeless about my fibroid, I decided to go on Facebook and see if I can still access the post I saw two days earlier, thank God I was able to get it. I reluctantly gave the Natural product a try it just made sense. On September17 of 2016, I began the Fibroid Shrinking program as seen on this web.

After being on this program for about 2 and half months, my period was no longer heavy as before. Usually my periods would last 8 days, with 3 – 4 days being very heavy. I would also spot a lot in between my periods but the spotting stopped, with 2 days of heavy bleeding and my cycle lasting for only 5 days. Once this happened I cancelled my appointment with my doctor and stayed loyal to my program.

Like I said earlier, I had 3 fibroid. One was growing inside my uterus and the other two were inside the walls of my uterus. The largest fibroid was the size of a grapefruit. When I got my results back from a scan I went for, the result shows that I only had one fibroid inside the wall of my uterus and that it was the size of a small apple. So two fibroids completely dissolved away and the largest one was the size of a small apple instead of a grapefruit. Since I wasn’t having any problems with my periods and 2 out of the 3 fibroid were gone, I decided to just continue with the program and go on with my life.

Two months later, I went for another scan and to my surprise and that of my doctor, my fibroid were gone. My doctor kept going over and over the scan result to make sure she was reading it correctly. She couldn’t believe that all of my fibroids were gone without surgery. My uterus was back to its normal size and my periods are now 3 days long. She asked me what I did to make them go away and I told her “I did what I should have done back in 2013. There are not enough words to explain the happiness I have now. I wish I knew about this program when I first had fibroids but as the saying goes ‘things happen for a reason'”.

I am so thrilled with my experience that I inspire others to experience for themselves the profound transformation Swissgarde fibroid treatment program offers, Swissgarde products has change my life and now I'm free am so happy, I strongly recommend Swissgarde fibroids pack to anyone reading my testimonies as God has use Swissgarde products to change my life he'll do the same to you all.

What is the meaning of Fibroid?
Fibroids are abnormal growths that develop in or on a woman's uterus. Sometimes, these tumors become quite large and cause severe abdominal pain and heavy periods. In other cases, they cause no signs or symptoms at all. The growths are typically benign (non cancerous)

These growths of smooth muscle can vary from the size of a bean to being as large as a melon. Fibroids affect around 30 percent of all women.
In women who have symptoms, the most common symptoms of uterine fibroids include: Heavy menstrual bleeding. Menstrual periods lasting more than a week. Pelvic pressure or pain. Frequent urination. Difficulty emptying the bladder. Constipation. Backache or leg pains.

For some women fibroids cause no symptoms, but when they do, doctors say problems often involve heavy menstrual periods and prolonged

While it is not clearly known what causes fibroids, it is believed that each tumor develops from an aberrant muscle cell in the uterus, which multiplies rapidly.

However, fibroids can cause a number of symptoms depending on their size, location within the uterus, and how close they are to adjacent pelvic organ

Health / High Prolactin Levels Can Cause Impotence Inability To Hav An Erection During Se by vikyembassy2000(f): 6:38am On Oct 31, 2017
Do you no that high prolactin levels can cause galactorrhea, impotence (inability to have an erection during sex), reduced desire for sex, and infertility.?

What is Prolactin?

Prolactin is a hormone produced by your pituitary gland which sits at the bottom of the brain. Prolactin causes breasts to grow and develop and causes milk to be made after a baby is born. Normally, both men and women have small amounts of prolactin in their blood. Prolactin levels are controlled by other hormones called prolactin inhibiting factors (PIFs), such as dopamine. During pregnancy, prolactin levels go up. After the baby is born, there is a sudden drop in estrogen and progesterone. High prolactin levels trigger the body to make milk for breastfeeding. In women who aren’t pregnant, prolactin helps regulate the menstrual cycle (periods). In men, prolactin affects sperm production.

What is hyperprolactinemia?

Hyperprolactinemia is a condition of too much prolactin in the blood of women who are not pregnant and in men. Hyperprolactinemia is relatively common in women. About a third of women in their childbearing years with irregular periods but normal ovaries have hyperprolactinemia. When this happens, a woman might have trouble getting pregnant or her breasts may start producing milk outside of pregnancy (galactorrhea). Ninety percent of women with galactorrhea also have hyperprolactinemia. High prolactin levels interfere with the normal production of other hormones, such as estrogen and progesterone. This can change or stop ovulation (the release of an egg from the ovary). It can also lead to irregular or missed periods. Some women have high prolactin levels without any symptoms.

In men, high prolactin levels can cause galactorrhea, impotence (inability to have an erection during sex), reduced desire for sex, and infertility. A man with untreated hyperprolactinemia may make less sperm or no sperm at all.

What are common causes of hyperprolactinemia?

Some common causes are:

Pituitary tumors (prolactinomas)Hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid)Medicines given for depression, psychosis, and high blood pressureHerbs, including fenugreek, fennel seeds, and red clover Irritation of the chest wall (from surgical scars, shingles, or even a too-tight bra)Stress or exercise (usually excessive or extreme)Certain foodsNipple stimulation

No cause is found in about a third of all cases of hyperprolactinemia.

How is hyperprolactinemia tested?

Blood tests can measure levels of prolactin. Levels are sometimes higher if you have eaten recently or are under stress. The test may be done again after you’ve fasted and are relaxed. Your doctor may also perform a physical exam to find any obvious causes or any breast discharge.

If levels are still high after the second check, your doctor may order a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan of the brain to check for a tumor of the pituitary gland.

How is hyperprolactinemia treated?

The treatment depends on the cause. If no cause is found or you have a tumor of the pituitary gland, the usual treatment is medicine. Hypothyroidism is treated with thyroid replacement medicine, which should also make prolactin levels return to normal. If your regular medicine is the reason for your high prolactin levels, your doctor will work with you to find a different medicine or add one to help your prolactin levels go down.

Medicines used to treat hyperprolactinemia

The most commonly used medicines are cabergoline and bromocriptine. Your doctor will start you on a low dose of one of these medications and slowly increase the dose until your prolactin levels go back to normal. Treatment continues until your symptoms lessen or you get pregnant (if that is your goal). Usually, your doctor will stop treatment once you are pregnant.

Cabergoline is taken twice a week and has fewer side effects than bromocriptine. Generally, cabergoline drops prolactin levels to normal faster than bromocriptine does. Cabergoline can cause heart valve problems when taken in high doses, but these doses are not used in women who are trying to get pregnant.

Bromocriptine and cabergoline can been used when woman is pregnant. The most common side effects are lightheadedness, nausea, and headache. Slowly increasing the dose helps with side effects. Another way to decrease the side effects is to give bromocriptine in a suppository directly in the vagina. This is an off-label use of the medicine.

No treatment

Not all women with hyperprolactinemia need treatment, although women with hyperprolactinemia who do not make estrogen as a result need a treatment that either causes her to make estrogen or provides estrogen to the patient. No treatment may be needed if a cause can’t be found or if the high prolactin level is due to a small tumor in the pituitary gland and the patient is still making estrogen. Women with hyperprolactinemia can still take birth control pills to keep from getting pregnant or make their periods regular.

Surgery

If a tumor is big, surgery may be needed if medicine doesn’t improve symptoms. An MRI will be done every so often to check on the size of the tumor.

Words to Know

Galactorrhea: When men or women who are not pregnant produce breast milk. Hypothyroidism: Underactive thyroid. Pituitary: A walnuts sized gland that sits at the bottom of the brain and releases hormones related to reproduction and growth. Prolactin inhibiting factor (PIF): A hormone that stops prolactin from being released.

Natural Treatment Options for Hyperprolactinemia
Let us dive into 4 step process:

Step 1: Use Hormone Balancing Supplements

Certain Supplements are prone to help to balance hormonal system. Here are the couple of tips;

Eat Zinc Supplement Rich Foods

Pay close attention here:

If you focus on one treatment, you are addressing only one part of the problem but not whole of the problem.

You, therefore, must focus on four methods shown in the above diagram for its effectiveness. And this is the correct way of influencing the entire hormonal system of your body.
Eat whole grain flour, wheat germ, sunflower seeds, carrots, brown rice, soybeans, spinach, cheese, lentils, shrimp, and chicken. These foods are rich in zinc supplement help in correcting your hormonal system.
Your body contains lots of toxins and chemicals. These toxins and chemicals enter into your body through the foods you eat.

Eating fiber-rich organic foods and fruits cleanse your body naturally. So replace foods made of white flour, sugar with fiber- rich vegetables and fruits.
As I have discussed stress is one of the factors for higher prolactin and various other health complications.

Health / Best Way To Treat Vaginal Yeast Infection 100% Result by vikyembassy2000(f): 6:06am On Oct 31, 2017
VAGINAL YEAST INFECTION !! (CANDIDIASIS )

What is yeast infection? A vaginal yeast infection is a fungal infection that causes irritation, discharge and intense itchiness of
the vagina and the vulva — the tissues at the vaginal opening
Vaginal yeast infection (also called vaginal candidiasis) affects up to 3 out of 4 women at some point in their lifetimes.

Symptoms
Yeast infection symptoms can range from mild to moderate and include:
A) Itching and irritation in the vagina and the tissues at the vaginal opening (vulva).
B) A burning sensation, especially during intercourse or while urinating.
C) Redness and swelling of the vulva.
D) Vaginal pain and soreness.
E) Vaginal rash.
F) Watery vaginal discharge.
G) Thick, white, odor-free vaginal discharge with a cottage cheese appearance.
H) Swelling of the vaginal lips
I) Pain during sexual intercourse
J) Pain while urinating

Who is prone to a yeast infection?

Pregnant women, diabetics and those undergoing hormonal therapy are highly susceptible to yeast infections. Lack of sleep, stress, those on prolonged antibiotics, STDs (especially HIV), oral contraceptives are all contributing risk factors.

Can a yeast infection be transmitted through sex?

Yes, although this is not always the case. The possibility of transmission through sex exists but this is rare. Still, a yeast infection cannot be considered a sexually transmitted infection (STI) because even a person who is sexually inactive can become infected. If you or your partner have a yeast infection, it is advisable to avoid all sexual contact until completely cured. Otherwise, you will simply keep passing the infection to and fro between yourselves. Men too can get a yeast infection but this is not very common.

How to treat a yeast infection?

Understand that yeast infections symptoms in women are dangerously similar to bacterial vaginosis and urinary tract infection.

In Swissgarde, we have nafdac approved antioxidants, nutritional and herbal supplement that has helped many to get rid of prolonged yeast infection especially the one resistant to antibiotics. If u have been battling with prolonged yeast infection (candidiasis), u can bring your problems to us. Call or WhatsApp me on 08086969372

The body’s nervous system often does a poor job of distinguishing between daily stressors and life-threatening events. Health / What You Need To Be Wary About Before Going For That Fibroid Surgery Or D&c. by vikyembassy2000(f): 8:18pm On Oct 24, 2017
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE WARY ABOUT BEFORE GOING FOR THAT FIBROID SURGERY OR D&C.

Surgery can very effectively reduce or solve the problems associated with the general health status of individuals. But for women, when gynological surgeries are involved, it is important that women pay more than the usual attention to the risks associated with them.
It is no longer news that many women have lost their lives, when having surgeries to remove fibroid from the uterus or when having abortions (D&C). But beyond the loss of lives is the infertility problems associated with the mentioned procedures.
Like, I wrote in my blocked womb article, Asherman Syndrome is the main culprit. Let us now look at Asherman in relation to Fibroid / D&C.
Asherman’s syndrome is caused by damage to the uterus that causes the formation of adhesions (scar tissue). The extent of damage can vary, and there are different grades of Asherman’s syndrome severity. The adhesion formation can affect the cervix, uterine lining, the deeper layers of the uterus, or in some cases the opening of the fallopian tubes. The scar tissue may be thin or thick. In some cases the front and back of the uterus may be adhered together, the opening to the fallopian tubes scarred shut, or the cervix covered over with scar tissue. Severe Asherman’s may lead to complete blockage of menstrual blood (endometrial lining) from being shed naturally each menses. This may lead to the formation of endometriosis, another painful and debilitating fertility issue.

What Actually Are Intrauterine Adhesions?
Intrauterine adhesions/scarring or synechiae, is an acquired uterine condition, characterised by the formation of adhesions (scar tissue) inside the uterus and/or the cervix. In many cases, the front and back walls of the uterus stick to one another. In other cases, adhesions only occur in a small portion of the uterus. The extent of the adhesions defines whether the case is mild, moderate, or severe. The adhesions can be thin or thick, spotty in location, or confluent.
The inside of the uterus is like a pocket with the front and back walls flat against each other. The pocket (i.e. uterus) is lined with tissue called endometrium. During menstruation, the superficial (topmost) layer of the endometrium is shed. When a woman becomes pregnant, the embryo implants in the endometrium.
Injury (due to surgery or other medical procedures) to and/or infection of the endometrium may damage the uterine lining and cause formation of adhesions (scar tissue) between the inner walls of the uterus.
Asherman’s Syndrome is the term used to describe adhesions inside the uterus. The scarring can be mild with thin stretchy bands of scar tissue or more severe with formation of thick bands. In the most severe cases, partial or total destruction of the inside of the uterus can occur.

Causes of Asherman’s Syndrome
The most common cause of intrauterine adhesions is injury following a surgical procedure involving the cavity of the uterus such as in fibroid surgeries, D&C and co. Dilatation and curettage (D&C) is a common outpatient surgical procedure during which the cervix (neck of the uterus) is opened and the tissue contents of the uterus are emptied.
Intrauterine adhesions may form following a D&C performed for pregnancy complications such as uterine bleeding following childbirth or miscarriage, or less commonly, for other gynaecological problems that involve the uterus.
Other possible causes of adhesion formation are infections of the uterine lining (endometritis), removal of fibroids in the cavity of the uterus and endometrial ablation (a surgical procedure that is used to intentionally damage the uterine lining to eliminate menstrual periods or make periods lighter).

Surgical Procedures That May Lead To Asherman’s Syndrome

• D&C for miscarriage, incomplete or missed
• D&C for retained placenta
• Suction method D&C
• Hysteroscopic myomectomy (removal of submucosal uterine fibroids bulging into uterine cavity)
• Cesarean section
• Uterine artery embolization (procedure to block blood flow to uterine fibroids, with the intent to shrink them)
• Vacuum procedure performed for abortion, this rarely happens
• IUD (intrauterine device birth control), this rarely happens
Non-Surgical Procedures That May Cause Asherman’s Syndrome

• Retained placenta requiring manual removal
• Uterine packing with gauze to prevent postpartum hemorrhage
• Douching with a caustic chemical to induce abortion
• Endometrial tuberculosis
• Pelvic irradiation for cancer treatment

How Is Asherman’s Syndrome Diagnosed?
Asherman’s syndrome can be diagnosed by hysteroscopy, hysterosalpingogram (HSG), or sonohysterogram (SHG).
Hysteroscopy is the most accurate method to evaluate intrauterine adhesions and it is a procedure in which a thin, telescope-like instrument is inserted through the cervix to allow the doctor to see directly inside the uterus.
HSG and SHG are useful screening tests for adhesions. HSG is an x-ray procedure during which a dye that can be seen on x-ray is placed into the uterine cavity so that the shape of the inside of the uterus can be seen. During a saline ultrasound (SHG), a salt solution similar to normal body fluid is infused through the cervix into the uterus and a sonogram machine is used to see the uterine cavity. In both HSG and SHG, the adhesions are seen as “filling defects,” spaces where the fluid does not flow freely.

How Is Asherman’s Syndrome Treated?

Surgical removal of intrauterine adhesions with hysteroscopic guidance is one way to treat Asherman’s syndrome. A special operating hysteroscope is used to cut away the scar tissue. This is frequently done under anaesthesia. Following removal of the adhesions, many surgeons recommend temporarily placing a device, such as a plastic catheter, inside the uterus to keep the walls of the uterus apart and to prevent adhesions from reforming.
Hormonal treatment with oestrogen and NSAIDs are frequently prescribed after surgery to lessen the chance of reformation of adhesions. In severe cases, more than one attempt at surgical removal of the adhesions may be necessary.
This is another danger most women are running away from. Post-surgery complications are still there and there is no guarantee on the outcome. The reproductive system may be severely damaged too.
Treatment with oestrogen is also another problem as excess oestrogen in the body may promote fibroid growth and obesity which will be issues the woman might have to battle with again after overcoming adhesions through surgery.

SOLUTION TO MALE INFERTILITY

My conversations with TTC dads always follow this order.

Check list:

✔Have you and your wife done any medical examination or fertility tests?

✔Do you have the result of your wife's hormonal assay, ultrasound scan and HSG?

✔Do you have the result of your semen analysis, culture test & hormonal assay?

✔For couples who have had a child before but having delay in conceiving another child, I do tell them to also go back and get some medical examination or fertility tests. Why?

*Secondary Infertility is still infertility*

Get A Fertility Test, Today !

For women having a recurring miscarriage:

✔ I also ask what their doctors have done to prevent a reoccurrence of miscarriage.

✔ I do advise them to go back for some medical examination or fertility tests. Why? Because recurring miscarriage is still infertility.

Also having still births is still infertility, so long as you haven't put to bed a living & healthy baby, it is still infertility.

My advise to couples with either primary or secondary infertility remains:

✔Go with your wife or husband for some medical examination or fertility tests

Now the reports of these three medical examination or fertility tests: must be upload for me to see for myself. I don't accept word of mouth reports.

Some, women will say yes, Doctor, the test are all OK. My husband is OK.

I will simply respond: Okay that's fine, but please upload the reports for me to take a at them.

 - Semen analysis ✔
 - Culture test ✔
 - Hormonal assay ✔

These uploaded reports usually gives me an insight into a man's sperm health.

✔For a man with low sperm count, it gives me insight into the root cause of low sperm count/ quality and guide me on where to begin the treatment plan to resolve it.

✔For some men, the semen analysis will show the Count, Motility & Morphology of the semen.

The culture sensitivity test will show :

✔Perhaps Mild, scanty, moderate or heavy growth of a named isolated infection; eg Staphylococcus, E coli, Coliform, etc.

✔ Culture test will also show the level of Pus cells in the semen.

If there is no infection in the semen analysis report then I will examine:

✔ the Hormonal assay to check for the FSH & Prolactin levels because studies have shown that men can also suffer Hormonal imbalance and in my previous lectures in my Fertility Classes in my WhatsApp groups; we have addressed the issue of High FSH & HIgh Prolactin also a root cause of Low sperm count & Poor sperm quality.

Health / Gender-specific Cancer Symptoms ( Females) by vikyembassy2000(f): 9:44pm On Oct 21, 2017
Cancer is a group of diseases involving abnormal cell growth with the potential to invade or spread to other parts of the body. Not all tumours are cancerous; benign tumours do not spread to other parts of the body.
• This type of cancer, also called uterine cancer, predominantly affects postmenopausal women (the average age of onset is 60). Protect yourself by: Staying at a healthy weight. Endometrial cancer is twice as common in overweight women, and more than three times as common in obese women, according to the American Cancer Society. Fat cells secrete estrogen, which in turn can trigger cancerous changes

BREAST CANCER
• Technically, it's not the No. 1 type of cancer in women. 1 in 8 women will develop in her lifetime. How to protect yourself: Regular mammograms are crucial; ask your doctor when you should start getting them. The American Cancer Society recommends having this test annually beginning at age 45. Meanwhile, take a close look at your lifestyle habits. "Being sedentary, overweight, and consuming a high fat diet—particularly foods high in animal fat—all increase the risk of breast cancer
Ironically few men have been observed who developed this condition

CERVICAL CANCER
• Human papillomavirus (HPV) infection causes more than 90% of cases; most people who have had HPV infections, however, do not develop cervical cancer. Other risk factors include smoking, a weak immune system, birth control pills, starting sex at a young age, and having many sexual partners, but these are less important. Cervical cancer typically develops from precancerous changesover 10 to 20 years. About 90% of cervical cancer cases are squamous cell carcinomas, 10% are adenocarcinoma, and a small number are other types. Diagnosis is typically by cervical screening followed by a biopsy. Medical imaging is then done to determine whether or not the cancer has spread

OVARIAN CANCER
• Ovarian cancer refers to any cancerous growth that occurs in the ovary. The majority of ovarian cancers arise from the epithelium (outer lining) of the ovary. In the early stages, ovarian cancer usually has few symptoms; in many cases, there are no symptoms at all. Patients often attribute their symptoms to other conditions, such as premenstrual syndrome, irritable bowel syndrome, or a temporary bladder problem

GENDER-SPECIFIC CANCER SYMPTOMS ( FEMALES)
• 1. Abnormal vaginal bleeding. More than 90% of women diagnosed with endometrial cancer experience irregular bleeding. If you have already undergone menopause, any bleeding — spotting included — should be evaluated.
• 2. Unexplained weight loss. If you’re overweight or obese, losing weight by exercising and making healthier food choices can actually help curb your cancer risks. But if you suddenly lose more than 10 pounds without changing your diet or exercise habits, its a red Flag
• 3. Vaginal discharge coloured with blood. Bloody, dark or smelly discharge is usually a sign of infection. But sometimes, it’s a warning sign of cervical or endometrial cancer.

4. Constant fatigue. A busy week can wear anyone out. But in most cases, a little rest should cure your fatigue. If fatigue is interfering with your work or leisure activities, stop blaming your hectic life and see your doctor.
• 5. Swollen leg. Does one of your legs look or feel swollen for no apparent reason? This may be a warning sign of cervical cancer. Typically, though, a swollen leg isn’t a sign of cancer unless you also have pain, discharge or other cervical cancer symptoms
• 6. Loss of appetite or feeling full all the time. Never hungry anymore? Or constantly feeling full? These appetite changes may be symptoms of ovarian cancer.
• 7. Pain in the pelvis or abdominal area. Ongoing abdominal pain or discomfort — including gas, indigestion, pressure, bloating and cramps — can signal ovarian cancer. And, constant pelvic pain or pressure can be a sign of endometrial cancer.
• 8. A bloated belly. It’s common to feel bloated after eating or drinking a lot, especially during your menstrual cycle. But if you feel bloated for more than two weeks or after your period ends, this could be a sign of ovarian cancer.

• Prostate cancer
Prostate cancer is cancer that starts in the prostate gland, which is a walnut sized gland at the base of the bladder in men.
• Testicular cancer
• Testicular cancer is cancer that develops in the testicles, which are part of a man's reproductive system.
• Penile cancer
• Penile cancer is cancer of the penis. It can develop anywhere on the penis but is most common under the foreskin in men who haven’t been circumcised or on the head of the penis.

GENDER-SPECIFIC CANCER SYMPTOMS ( MALES)
• Urinary changes
• Incontinence and other urinary changes may develop as you age. However, certain symptoms may indicate prostate cancer. Prostate cancer is most common in men ages 60 and older.
• Common urinary symptoms include:
• urinary leaks
• incontinence
• an inability to urinate despite urges to go
• delayed urination
• straining during urination
• Blood in your urine
• If you have blood in your urine, you shouldn’t ignore it. This is a common symptom of bladder cancer. This type of cancer is more common in current and former smokers than in people who’ve never smoked. Prostatitis, prostate cancer, and urinary tract infections can also cause blood in your urine.
• Early prostate cancer can also cause blood in your semen.

• Persistent back pain
• Back pain is a common cause of disability, but few men realize that it may be a symptom of cancer. Symptoms of cancer may not show until it has spread to other parts of your body, such as the bones of your spine. For example, prostate cancer is especially prone to spread to the bones and may cause these symptoms within your hip bones and lower back.
• Unlike occasional muscle pain, cancer of the bone causes tenderness and discomfort in your bones.
• Testicular lumps
• Testicular cancers in men are less common than cancers of the prostate, lungs, and colon. Still, you shouldn’t ignore early symptoms. Lumps in the testicles are symptoms of testicular cancer.
• Doctors look for these lumps during wellness checks. For earliest detection, you should check for lumps once per month.

THE ALTERNATIVE APPROACH
• There are more than 100 types of cancer, including breast cancer, skin cancer, lung cancer, colon cancer, prostate cancer, and lymphoma. Symptoms vary depending on the type. Cancer treatment may include chemotherapy, radiation, and/or surgery. In the more recent years, results have shown that more battles against these dreaded ailments have been won using herbs and herbal extracts. Lets us now look at some of these important herbs that have been shown to be effective against cancer

CURCUMIN (Turmeric):
• This spice (Curcuma longa or Turmeric root) has been shown to have significant anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory activity. That alone seems enough for certain hospitals in America to consider using it in the treatment of polyps and colon cancer. However new research shows that it can both shrink cancer tumours and inhibit blood supply growth to tumours. It is a powerful antioxidant with liver protective benefits, and outperformed several anti-inflammatory drugs without side-effects in research
• ECHINACEA:
• Another known immune system booster, it gained a populist reputation in treating colds. There is research on its helpfulness with brain tumours apart from its abilities to increase the levels of certain immune white cells in the body, necessary in the fight against cancer.
SUTHERLANDIA (Cancer Bush):
Researched studies indicate that this herb is anti-inflammatory, anti-viral and anti-fungal. It boosts the immune system and inhibits Tumour Necrosis Factor, known to drive wasting in cancer patients

Garlic:
• Along with onions, shallots, scallions, and leeks, garlic is an allium vegetable that may help prevent cancer, especially of the stomach. Allium vegetables contain organosulfur compounds, the chemical that causes eye-tearing when they're chopped. Organosulfar has immune-strengthening and anti-carcinogenic qualities. Garlic is a versatile cooking essential. It can be sautéed in a tablespoon of olive oil and served with whole grain bread, or baked in the oven and then mashed into a spread. It'a delicious added to vegetables and meats dishes.
• Ginger:
• Another weapon in your kitchen's cancer prevention arsenal, fresh ginger contains gingerol while dried ginger forms zingerone. "Gingerol and zingerone are thought to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, and therefore may be protective against cancer," Store ginger in the freezer and grate a bit into lentils or rice when cooking. Steeping a few thin slices in hot water for 10 to 15 minutes can create a calming tea that may help with nausea and also decrease cancer risk.
Dandelion :
• Of all dandelion’s amazing health benefits, research is showing the greatest promise is in its ability to fight cancer. One of the most exciting studies about dandelion’s anti-cancer abilities was published in the journal Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine. Canadian scientists found that after 48 hours of exposure to the dandelion extract, cancer cells begin to die off. The study also found that dandelion was even effective on cancer cells that were resistant to chemotherapy. Other research published in the International Journal of Oncology found that a tea made from dandelion leaves decreased the growth of breast cancer cells while a tea made from the root blocked the ability of cancer cells to invade healthy breast tissue and healthy prostate tissue. In another study published in the online medical journal PLoS One, researchers found that an extract of dandelion root was able to selectively and efficiently kill cancer cells without toxicity to healthy cells. They concluded that dandelion root has “great potential, as non-toxic and effective alternatives to conventional modes of chemotherapy available today.”
• Parsley :
• Who knew that the herb used almost exclusively as a garnish on foods could be one of the next great natural cancer remedies? parsley acts as an antioxidant to destroy free radicals, protects DNA from damage that can lead to cancer and inhibits both the proliferation and migration of cancer cells in the body.
• St. John’s wort :
Most people think of St. John’s Wort for depression, and for good reason—it has been found in many studies to be effective against the disease—but few consider this herb in the treatment of cancer. Research in the online medical journal PLoS One, found that an active ingredient known as hypericin was highly effective against the invasive cancer melanoma
Ginseng:
• According to a study review published in the Chinese Medicine Journal, ginseng’s secret weapon for fighting cancer is revealed through its compound called “ginsenosides.” Numerous studies demonstrate the beneficial effect of ginsenosides against deviant molecular processes that are responsible for cancer.
In fact, new studies are being published every day regarding its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits. New research is also demonstrating its potential to kill cancer cells, as well as inhibit cancer’s uncontrolled growth, invasiveness, and angiogenesis. Bringing this mix together to effectively fight cancer.

BRINGING ALL THIS KNOWLEDGE AND MORE TO GOOD USE
• Now, how do you incorporate all of this together to effectively fight Cancer and defeat it? The good news is that Swissgarde, a company known for effective herbal supplemental products, has put all these and much more together. Aloe Power contains Sutherlandia and Ginseng . Defender contains garlic and parseley, Buchu Power contains turmeric, dandelion and ginger, Immune booster contains Echinacea, Omega plus contains garlic oil and the combination of all the essential oils make them effective against cancer. Health / The Issue Of Blocked Womb. I Don’t Mean Bocked Fallopian Tubes by vikyembassy2000(f): 6:01pm On Oct 18, 2017
UNDERSTANDING WHAT IT MEANS TO HAVE A BLOCKED WOMB

In handling infertility issues, one recent challenge we have had to contend with from couples who visit us in the office, is the issue of blocked womb. I don’t mean blocked fallopian tubes. So, can a womb truly be blocked?

What is the cause of a womb block?

The womb/uterus is seldom blocked; the womb often refers to the uterus. Blockage can occur when there had been excessive scarring.

What is Uterine Scarring

Intrauterine adhesions, also known as synechiae or scar tissue, are bands of fibrous scar tissue that form within the uterus. Scar tissue affects the functional lining of the uterus and can be a reason for infertility.
Your uterus has three layers: an outer layer (serosa), a middle muscular layer (myometrium), and an inner layer (endometrium). The inner layer contains the lining that sheds once a month with a woman’s menses. It is also the place where an embryo implants and grows into a pregnancy.
Uterine scarring is caused by trauma to the lining with a procedure and/or inflammation. Rates of scarring are highest when there is a uterine procedure done in the setting of an infection. Potential causes for scarring include:
Surgical:
• Dilation and curettage for prior abortion, miscarriage, retained placenta after delivery, abnormal uterine bleeding
• Cesarean section
• Myomectomy
Inflammation/infection:
• Endometritis – infection of uterine cavity
• Other infections (Chlamydia, Tuberculosis, Schistosomiasis)
Symptoms:
Uterine scarring that causes symptoms is called Asherman Syndrome. Symptoms might include a lighter period, “hypomenorrhea” or no period, “amenorrhea”. Scar tissue can cause cyclic pelvic pain from menstrual blood getting trapped in the uterus. It can also cause recurrent pregnancy loss or an inability to conceive.

How does it cause infertility?
Uterine scarring decreases the ability to get pregnant because it decreases the blood supply to the endometrial lining. It may also cause the cavity to be completely scarred. A healthy endometrium is important for an embryo to implant. Scar tissue can also be a physical barrier for sperm to enter the upper uterus to fertilize an ovulated egg.
Workup:
Uterine scarring can be seen on imaging such as hysterosalpingogram which is an X-ray of the pelvis, pelvic ultrasound, and saline sonogram which a ultrasound with sterile water. It is best assessed with hysteroscopy, which is a surgical procedure where a camera used to look inside the uterus.

Treatment:
The treatment for uterine scarring is removal of scar tissue at the time of hysteroscopy. After the procedure, a balloon catheter is typically placed inside the uterus for a short time and estrogen therapy is given to decrease scar reformation. Recurrence rates can be up to 33% in mild to moderate adhesions and 66% in severe adhesions. This procedure should be performed by an experienced surgeon or fertility specialist. Successful treatment can lead to pregnancy, with previously reported rates of 40-80% and live birth rates of 30-70%.

Alternative Treatment
If, you come to us with such a challenge, we will place you on Omega plus, Super Cider, Aloe Power, Marina Spa and Defender. These potent products can be gotten from Swissgarde.

Health / Vagina Dryness..do You Have Pains When You Have Sex With Your Spouse? by vikyembassy2000(f): 8:03pm On Oct 16, 2017
Do you have pains when you have sex with your spouse? Is your husband threatening to or has abandoned your matrimonial home to marry another woman? Do you know that marriage is to be enjoyed not to be endured?

My advise to married couples:
Don't blame each other over a simple issue as vagina dryness. A problem shared is a problem half-solved. You can save your marriage from collapse. Get wisdom! Get understanding!

What is vagina dryness?

VAGINAL DRYNESS or
Atrophic vaginitis is the medical term for the condition when a number of changes occur in a woman's body that produces troublesome symptoms.

Vaginal dryness is frequently associated with menopause and the hormonal imbalance that often takes place during that transition, but it can be a problem for women at any age.

Vaginal dryness tends to be accompanied by a burning or itching sensation, painful intercourse, and increased urination.

Nearly 80% of women suffer from vaginal dryness at some point, and its causes are wide and varied. The problem can be treated once the symptoms are recognized. Lifestyle changes combined with herbal remedies are often the best way to cure vaginal dryness.

During menopause, estrogen production slows and then stops. When that happens, a number of changes -- many of them unwelcome -- happen in a woman's body. Periods become irregular and then stop. You may have hot flashes, mood swings, a deeper voice, and an increase in facial hair.

Vaginal dryness is another common symptom of menopause -- and close to one out of every three women experiences it while going through "the change." And it becomes even more common after menopause.

Note that Vaginal dryness can also occur at any age from a number of different causes. It may seem like a minor irritation. But the lack of vaginal moisture can have a huge impact on your sex life. Fortunately, several treatments are available to relieve vaginal dryness.

WHAT CAUSES VAGINAL DRYNESS?

Normally, the walls of the vagina stay lubricated with a thin layer of clear fluid. The hormone estrogen helps maintain that fluid and keeps the lining of the vagina healthy, thick, and elastic. During menopause, the drop in estrogen levels reduces the amount of moisture available. It also makes the vagina thinner and less elastic. This is called vaginal atrophy.

In addition to menopause, estrogen levels can drop from:

* Childbirth and breastfeeding
* Radiation or chemotherapy treatment for cancer
* Surgical removal of the ovaries
* Anti-estrogen medications used to treat uterine fibroids or endometriosis
* Immune disorders
* Smoking
* Certain medicines - such as those for colds and allergies - can reduce levels of moisture and trigger vaginal dryness.
* Emotional problems or medical conditions can also lead to this symptom.

OTHER CAUSES OF VAGINAL DRYNESS INCLUDE:

- Sjögren's syndrome (an autoimmune disorder that attacks cells in the body that produce moisture)
- Allergy and cold medications and certain antidepressants
- Douching
- Lack of enough pre-intimacy before sexual intercourse.

No matter what the cause, vaginal dryness can be extremely uncomfortable. It can lead to itching, burning, and painful intercourse.

Before the menopause (often called the change of life) the skin and tissues around your vagina are kept supple and moist by fluids and mucus. These are made by glands at the neck of your womb.

The female hormone, oestrogen, affects these glands. Oestrogen also affects your tissues in and around your vagina, causing the lining of your vagina to be thicker and more elastic. Oestrogen also stimulates the cells that line your vagina to produce glycogen.

Glycogen is a compound which encourages the presence of helpful germs (bacteria) which protect your vagina from infections.

After the menopause your ovaries make less oestrogen. The lack of oestrogen leads to thinning of the tissues around your vagina and a reduction in the number of glands that make mucus. You may also lose some fat tissue from around the genital area. This may make the area also look slightly different to how it was before the menopause.

In summary, the hormonal changes that occur during the menopause make your vagina shorter, less elastic and drier. These changes usually take months or years to develop after the menopause and vary from woman to woman.

HOW COMMON IS VAGINAL DRYNESS (atrophic vaginitis)?

After the menopause at least half of women have some symptoms related to vaginal dryness. You are also more likely to experience symptoms as more years pass after your menopause. It is probably even more common than that, as many women are embarrassed and feel they do not want to trouble their doctor with these symptoms.

Health / Do You Know Anyone Whose Breast Hardened As A Result Of A Developed Lump? by vikyembassy2000(f): 6:29pm On Oct 16, 2017
BREAST FIBROADENOMA-WHEN YOU GET A FALSE CANCER

SCARE.

Do you know anyone whose breast hardened as a result of a developed lump? Yes despite any reassurance, she will be absolutely petrified. Because, the feeling would be that Cancer has developed.

Fibroadenoma of the breast is a noncancerous (benign) tumor. Fibroadenoma is the most common benign tumor of the breast. Benign tumor means it is not caused by cancer. Fibroadenoma is the most common breast tumor in women under age 30. A fibroadenoma is made up of breast gland tissue and tissue that helps support the breast gland tissue.
African American women tend to develop fibroadenomas more often and at an earlier age than Caucasian women. The cause of fibroadenomas is not known.

Symptoms
Fibroadenomas are usually single lumps. About 10 - 15% of women have several lumps that may affect both breasts.
Lumps may be:
• Easily moveable under the skin
• Firm
• Painless
• Rubbery
Lumps have smooth, well-defined borders. They may grow in size, especially during pregnancy. Fibroadenomas often get smaller after menopause (if a woman is not taking hormone therapy).

Exams and Tests
After a physical exam, one or both of the following tests are usually done:
• Breast ultrasound
• Mammogram
A biopsy may be done to get a definite diagnosis. Different types of biopsies include:
• Open
• Stereotatic
• Ultrasound (core needle)
Women in their teens or early 20s may not need a biopsy if the lump goes away on its own or if the lump does not change over a long period.

Treatment

If a biopsy shows that the lump is a fibroadenoma, the lump may be left in place or removed. Women with fibroadenoma have a slightly higher risk of breast cancer later in life. If the lump is left in place and watched carefully, it may need to be removed at a later time if it changes or grows.

But from an Alternative Medicine point of view, which is our area of specialisation, this condition is handled using products that are antioxidants, tumour crushers, immune system enhancers and are anti-inflamatory in its activities. Products like African Potato, Defender, Supercider, Omega plus, Buchu Power, Aloe Power and Immune booster.

Health / Testimony On Genital Warts; Is A Products Of A Sexually Transmitted Infection by vikyembassy2000(f): 11:51pm On Oct 04, 2017
What are genital warts?

Highlights

genital warts are products of a sexually transmitted infection caused by human papilloma virus.
they are common in both sexes. Genital warts in women are particularly dangerous in because of the risk of cervical cancer.
genital warts in children points to sexual abuse
genital warts are common in uncircumcised men.
about 90 serotypes of human papilloma virus exists, few are of clinical importance.
Genital warts are a fleshy cauliflower- like growths on the private part. The warts are caused by human papilloma virus low risk serotypes 5, 6 and 11. High risk human papilloma virus 16 and 18 are responsible for cervical cancer in women. Over 300,000 persons between the age group of 17-37 develop genital warts yearly. Genital warts can be developed weeks, months or even years after sexual exposure. There are about serotypes of human papilloma viruses of which serotypes 5, 6, 11, and 18 most commonly affect the genital tract through sexual transmission.

RISK FACTORS

Who is at risk of developing genital warts?

Genital warts can occur in anybody but the following groups are more susceptible to the infection:

sexually active males and females
men having sex with men (MSM)
persons with HIV/AIDs
commercial sex workers
immunocompromised individuals like diabetes milletus and cancer patients
persons indulging in risky sexual behaviours
sexually abused individuals
having multiple sexual partners.
Symptoms

What are the symptoms of genital warts

Warts caused by human papilloma virus can be single or multiple, raised, or flat. Perianal warts whilst being more commonly found in MSM, are also found in heterosexual men and in women. The commonest signs of genital warts are:

fleshy, flat, or bumpy growths on the penis that look like a cauliflower
growth may be itchy
single or multiple growth
the growths are commoner on the glans of the penis
pain may be experienced if infected
the growths may multiply to form large, clustered, and vegetating giant mass
the giant type occurs most commonly in uncircumcised males
In some males, growth may be found in the urethral and this may make urination difficult. Genital warts in males apart from the penis may be found on the scrotum, groin, around the anus, lips, tongue, jaw, hands, foot, or throat of a person involved in MouthAction.

For women, warts are not visible i.e. may not be found in the vulva inside the vaginal wall, cervix, or anus hence they feel a burning sensation, have intense itching, pain during intercourse and some may even bleed. Genital warts in pregnancy, may dramatically increase in size and number making treatment difficult. Rarely, they are large enough to obstruct labour and, in this case, delivery by caesarean section may be required. Rarely, mother-to-child transmission of HPV leads to anogenital warts, or possibly laryngeal tumours, in the newborn.

When do genital warts develop?

It may take weeks, months, or years after exposure before warts develop. Sometimes there are asymptomatic carriers of HPV that can infect others. Hence, genital warts may not necessarily translate to unfaithfulness of your partner in some instances, it could be that complicated.

How are genital warts diagnosed?

The diagnosis can be made clinically by the doctor by taking history especially your sexual history and performing a physical examination. The doctor most times makes a “spot diagnosis” by just observation of your perianal area for visible warts.

For women, a full pelvic examination is performed with a pap smear from the cervix taken for further investigation to rule out cervical cancer. For both males and females, an instrument called protoscope may be introduced into your rectum for examination and to take samples for investigations.

Staph Infection – Time to permanently get it out of your system.

One condition that has plagued many Nigerians is the infection known as Staphylococus, today many will tell you that they have given up hope when it comes to taking care of this ailment. The truth is that it is not a condition that you can easily get rid off with orthodox medicine, so we want to understand the nature of this ailment and how you can permanently get it out of your system.

What is Staphylococcus? What causes a staph infection?
Staphylococcus is a group of bacteria (microbe or germ) that can cause a number of infectious diseases in various tissues of the body. Staphylococcus is more familiarly known as staph (pronounced "staff"wink. Staph-related illness can range from mild and requiring no treatment to severe and potentially fatal.
The name Staphylococcus comes from the Greek staphyle, meaning a bunch of grapes, and kokkos, meaning berry, and that is what staph bacteria look like under the microscope, like a bunch of grapes or little round berries. (In technical terms, these are gram-positive, facultative anaerobic, usually unencapsulated cocci.)
Over 30 different types of staphylococci can infect humans, but most infections are caused by Staphylococcus aureus. Staphylococci can be found normally in the nose and on the skin (and less commonly in other locations) of around 25%-30% of healthy adults and in 25% of hospital or medical workers. In the majority of cases, the bacteria do not cause disease. However, a cut, abrasion, or other damage to the skin or other injury may allow the bacteria to overcome the natural protective mechanisms of the body, leading to infection.

Who is at risk for staph infections?
Anyone can develop a staph infection, although certain groups of people are at greater risk, including newborn infants, breastfeeding women, and people with chronic conditions such as diabetes, cancer, vascular disease, and lung disease. Injecting drug users, those with skin injuries or disorders, intravenous catheters, surgical incisions, and those with a weakened immune system due either to disease or a result of immune suppressing medications all have an increased risk of developing staph infections.

Staph Infection Symptoms
Some of the most common staph infection symptoms that affect the skin can include:
• Developing an abscess that causes redness, swelling and pain: These can be in the form of a visible boil, infected hair follicle (which looks like an ingrown hair) or a bump that look like a cystic acne pimple. Many who develop a staph infection of the skin form of a visible swollen pocket that contains pus and feels tender when touched.
• Forming a painful rash: Several types of rashes can be caused by staph infections. One is called impetigo, which is a skin rash that’s contagious and causes large blisters to form. Blisters can sometimes form crust coatings or open up and release fluid. Another is called cellulitis, which is caused from an infection deeper beneath the skin’s surface. Cellulitisoccurs most often on the legs or feet and can cause patches of visible ulcers that eventually ooze open.
• In infants or babies, a type of staph infection called staphylococcal scalded skin syndrome can cause a rash or blisters that open up and expose raw skin. Some also develop symptoms of a fever at the same time.

Bacteremia develops when staph bacteria reach the bloodstream. This can cause staph infection symptoms that affect digestion and the vital organs, including:
• Symptoms of food poisoning, such as nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration and dizziness
• Low blood pressure and feeling shaky
• Symptoms of a fever, such as having the chills, loss of appetite, shakiness, upset stomach or weakness
• High fevers can result from staph infections called toxic shock syndrome, which can cause toxicity, rashes, confusion, muscle pains and digestive upset
• Septic arthritis symptoms can also form, and this type of infection causes swelling and pain in the joints, especially the knees. Septic arthritis can also cause pain and inflammation in the spine, feet, ankles, hips, wrists, hands, elbows and shoulders.
• One of the most serious conditions caused by a staph infection is endocarditis, which affects the endocardium (the inner lining of the heart). (2) It’s been found that between 10 percent to 20 percent of people who undergo surgery to implant an artificial heart valve develop endocarditis within 60 days. (3) This can affect blood flow and sometimes cause symptoms like damage to the lungs, congestive heart failure or kidney problems.

Staph Infection Prevention and Natural Treatments

1. Strengthen Your Immune System

Avoid inflammatory and allergenic foods that disturb gut health and lower immune function, including packaged, processed foods; potential food allergens like conventional dairy, gluten, shrimp and peanuts; refined fats or fried foods; and added sugar.
Consider taking herbs and supplements to boost immune function, such as zinc; antioxidants like vitamin C, echinacea and vitamin D; and antiviral herbs for immunity like calendula, elderberry and astragalus. In addition, fill up on healing foods like fresh fruits and veggies, probiotic foods, bone broth, and healthy fats like coconut, nuts and seeds. Swissgarde’s Immune booster, African Potato, Defender, Buchu Power, Aloe Power and Supercider represents the most powerful herbal supplement in the market that effectively takes care of even drug resistant Staph.

2. Practice Good Hygiene and Hand-Washing

Regularly wash all fabrics and linens (especially when they’re shared) using a natural antibacterial detergent. Ideally look for detergents containing essential oils that have antibacterial/antimicrobial properties, or make a homemade laundry soap yourself. You can also use the specially formulated Swissgarde waterless hand sanitiser.
Be sure to wash all dirty clothes containing bodily fluids, towels and bedding, particularly after they come into contact with someone who has an infection.
Clean and disinfect all working surfaces thoroughly and regularly, including those in bathrooms and kitchens. Public surfaces that are used or touched daily carry the biggest risk for spreading staph bacteria, including doorknobs, phones, or surfaces in public restrooms and locker rooms.
Frequently disinfect shared items in your home or workplace using natural cleaning products, especially those regularly used with someone’s hands, such as phones, doorknobs, keys, cabinet handles and keyboards. Run any shared utensils and kitchen or cooking equipment through a dishwasher after use.
Food workers should always wash their hands thoroughly to prevent foodborne illnesses from spreading.
Avoid sharing personal items, such as towels or razors, that can carry bodily fluids.
If you go to a gym or exercise facility, make sure to clean equipment after use and shower once you leave. Try using a towel when putting your bare skin on any surface, such as a protective layer between you and mats or the gym floor. Wash your hands after lifting weights, touching machines or using the bathroom.
Employees who are sick or suffering from infections should avoid going to work, and children who are sick should stay home from school. In public settings where shared equipment is used, such as tools, computers, phones, uniforms, helmets and protective gear, all equipment should be regularly disinfected.

3. Clean and Protect All Open Cuts

Be sure to keep any cuts, incisions or wounds clean and covered using band-aids, bandages or another dressings. Use a natural antibacterial wash over skin when showering, and make sure to protect openings in the skin when in high-risk settings like hospitals or nursing homes. Swissgarde’s Aloevera gel can come in very useful in this regarde.

Health / SINUSITIS: The Alternative Remedy You Will Appreciate by vikyembassy2000(f): 6:43am On Sep 22, 2017
SINUSITIS: The alternative remedy you will Appreciate

What Is Sinusitis?
Sinuses are air filled cavities that that produce mucus for eliminating pollutants from nasal passages.Sinusitis is an inflammation or swelling of the tissue lining the sinuses. Healthy sinuses are filled with air. But when they become blocked and filled with fluid, germs can grow and cause an infection.
Conditions that can cause sinus blockage include:
• The common cold
• Allergic rhinitis, which is swelling of the lining of the nose
• Small growths in the lining of the nose called nasal polyps
• A deviated septum, which is a shift in the nasal cavity.

Types
Acute sinusitis sually starts with coldlike symptoms such as a runny, stuffy nose and facial pain. It may start suddenly and last 2-4 weeks. Subacute sinus inflammation usually lasts 4 to 12 weeks.Chronic inflammation symptoms last 12 weeks or longer. Recurrent sinusitis happens several times a year.

Who Gets It? We are all at risk . For adults :
• Swelling inside the nose like from a common cold
• Blocked drainage ducts
• Structural differences that narrow those ducts
• Nasal polyps
• Immune system deficiencies or medications that suppress the immune system
For children, things that can cause sinusitis include:
• Allergies
• Illnesses from other kids at day care or school
• Pacifiers
• Bottle drinking while lying on the back
• Smoke in the environment
The main things that make sinusitis more likely for adults are infections and smoking.
Acute Sinusitis Symptoms
The main signs include:
• Facial pain or pressure
• "Stuffed-up" nose
• Runny nose
• Loss of smell
• Cough or congestion
You may also have:
• Fever
• Bad breath
• Fatigue
• Dental pain
It may be acute sinusitis if you have two or more symptoms, or thick, green, or yellow nasal discharge.
Chronic Sinusitis Symptoms
You may have these symptoms for 12 weeks or more:
• A feeling of congestion or fullness in your face
• A nasal obstruction or nasal blockage
• Pus in the nasal cavity
• Fever
• Runny nose or discolored postnasal drainage
You may also have headaches, bad breath, and tooth pain. You may feel tired a lot.
Treatment
If you have a simple sinus infection, your doctor may recommend you use a decongestant and saline nasal washes.
If your doctor gives you antibiotics, you’ll probably take them for 10 to 14 days. The symptoms usually disappear with treatment.
For lasting treatment when one has acute Sinusitis, alternative medication which has been shown to be very effective and is recommended.
Using Nutaceuticals
Defender is one natural antibiotic from Swissgarde that can be given for chronic situations. Royally Jelly is another angle to the mix that can address causes due to allergies. Immune booster give the sufferer to help him get over it. Marina Spa serves as a decongestant that can help to clear nasal blockage while supercider helps dry up the congested cavities, it plays a huge role in taking care of infection, allergies and respiratory health.

Health / Healthy Fats For Your Prostrate; Men - My Childhood; My Manhood; My Prostate by vikyembassy2000(f): 12:46pm On Sep 16, 2017
FULL TEXT OF PROSTATE HEALTH AWARENESS LECTURE PRESENTED AT MEETING OF FGBMFI (NORTH-GATE CHAPTER)
MEN - MY CHILDHOOD; MY MANHOOD; MY PROSTATE.
MUST READ!!
and Gentlemen,
I am here to speak with you on Prostate.
The topic is misleading.
Is Prostate strictly for Men?
Yes, ONLY men have prostate and ONLY men over 40years but the healthcare enlightenment is for everyone. There is no woman who does not know a man 40 years and above – Father, Uncle, Brother, Son, Friend, Neighbor, Colleague …
Essentially what I will be doing today is health promotion. Responsible health promotion must provide three things:
1. Information
2. Reassurance
3. A Plan of Action.
Let me start with a background on Prostate Health.
Everyone has a pair of kidneys. The job of the kidney is to remove waste. It is the LAWMA (waste management company) of your body. Everyday your blood passes through the kidney several times to be filtered. As the blood is filtered, urine is formed and stored in a temporary storage tank called the urinary bladder.
If there were to be no urinary bladder, as a man walks on the road, urine will be dropping.

Now think of the plumbing work in your house. Think of the urinary bladder as the overhead storage tank. From the storage tank, a good plumber will run pipes to other parts of the house, including the kitchen. God in His wisdom ran pipes from our urinary bladder to the tip of the penis. The pipe is called the urethra. Just below the bladder and surrounding the urethra is a little organ called the prostate gland.
The prostate gland is the size of a walnut and weighs about 20grams. Its job is to make the seminal fluid which is stored in the seminal vesicle. During sexual intercourse, seminal fluid comes down the urethra and mixes with the sperms produced in the testicles to form the semen. So semen technically is not sperm. It is sperm + seminal fluid. The seminal fluid lubricates the sperm.
After age 40, for reasons that may be hormonal, the prostate gland begins to enlarge. From 20 grams it may grow to almost 100 grams. As it enlarges, it squeezes the urethra and the man begins to notice changes in the way he urinate.
If you have a son under 10, if he has a little mischief like we all did at that age, when he comes out to urinate, he can target the ceiling and the jet will hit target. Call his father to do same, wahala dey. His urine stream is weak, cannot travel a long distance and sometimes may come straight down on his legs. So he may need to stand in awkward position to urinate.
Not many men will be worried their urine stream cannot hit the ceiling. Toilets are on the floor and not on the ceiling. But other symptoms begin to show.
TERMINAL DRIPPLING:
The man begins to notice that after urinating and repacking, urine still drops on his pants. This is the reason why after an older man urinates, he has to ring bell. A younger man simply delivers to the last drop and walks away. Just see an older man coming from the bathroom. Sometimes he may clutch the newspaper closely to hide the urine stains, particularly on plain colored trousers.
HESISTANCY
At this point you wait longer for the urine flow to start. There are 2 valves that must open for you to urinate – the internal and external sphincters. Both open but because of obstructions in the urethra, you wait long for the flow to start.
INCOMPLETE EMPTYING
You have this feeling immediately after urinating that there is still something left.
As all these things happen, the bladder begins to work harder to compensate for the obstruction in the urethra. The frequency of urination goes up. Urgency sets in. sometimes you have to practically run into the toilet. Nocturia also becomes common. You wake up more than 2 times at night to urinate. Your wife begins to complain.
Men being men may not talk to anyone even at this point. Then the more serious complications start.
Stored urine gets infected and there may be burning sensation when urinating.
urine forms crystals. Crystals come together to form stone either in the bladder or in the kidney. Stones may block the urethra.
Chronic urinary retention sets in. The bladder stores more and more urine. The size of the bladder is 40 - 60 cl. A bottle of coke is 50cl. As the bladder stores more urine it can enlarge up to 300cl. An overfilled bladder may leak and this leads to wetting / urinary incontinence. Also the volume may put pressure on the kidney and may lead to kidney damage. What may likely bring the man to hospital is acute urinary retention. He wakes up one day and he is not able to pass urine.
Everything I have described above is associated with prostate enlargement, technically called benign prostate hyperplasia.
There are other diseases of the prostate like:
1. Prostatitis – inflammation of the prostate
2. Prostate cancer – cancer of the prostate.
This discussion is on prostate enlargement.
have bad news and good news.
The bad news is that every man will have prostate enlargement if he lives long enough.
The good news is that there are life style changes that can help the man after 40 to maintain optimum prostate health.
Nutrition
Look at what you eat. 33% of all cancers, according to the US National Cancer Institute is related to what we eat.
Red meat everyday triples your chances of prostate disease. Milk everyday doubles your risk. Not taking fruits / vegetables daily quadruples your risk.
Tomatoes are very good for men. If that is the only thing your wife can present in the evening, eat it with joy. It has loads of lycopene. Lycopene is the most potent natural antioxidant.
Foods that are rich in zinc are also good for men. We recommend pumpkin seeds (ugbogulu).
Zinc is about the most essential element for male sexuality and fertility
Men need more zinc than women. Every time a man ejaculates he loses 15mg of zinc. Zinc is also important for alcohol metabolism. Your liver needs zinc to metabolize alcohol.
ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION
As men begin to have urinary symptoms associated with prostate enlargement, it is important they look at alcohol consumption. More fluid in means more fluid out
Drink less. Drink slowly.
EXERCISE
Exercise helps build the muscle tone. Every man should exercise. Men over 40 should avoid high impact exercise like jogging. It puts pressure on the knees. Cycling is bad news for the prostate. We recommend brisk walking.
SITTING
When we sit, two-third of our weight rests on the pelvic bones. Men who sit longer are more prone to prostate symptoms. Do not sit for long hours. Walk around as often as you can. Sit on comfortable chairs. We recommend a divided saddle chair if you must sit long hours.
DRESSING
Men should avoid tight underwear. It impacts circulation around the groin and heats it up a bit. While the physiological temperature is 37 degrees, the groin has an optimal temperature of about 33 degrees. Pant is a no - no for men. Wear boxers. Wear breathable clothing.
SMOKING
Avoid smoking. It affects blood vessels and impact circulation around the groin.
SEX
Regular sex is good for the prostate.
Celibates are more prone to prostate illness. While celibacy is a moral decision, it is not a biological adaptation. Your prostate gland is designed to empty its contents regularly.
Thought: when someone share something of value with you and you benefit from it. You have a moral obligation to share it with others because someone in your friends list might benefit from it

HEALTHY FATS FOR YOUR PROSTRATE

Healthy fats do a prostate good!
Contrary to the low fat message we’ve been hearing for years, healthy fats from the vegetable kingdom are now being touted for their ability to reduce risk of prostate cancer (and all causes of death in general).

New research is highlighting this truth. Citing their findings: researchers of the 24-year study (1986-2010) concluded, “Replacing 10% of energy intake from carbohydrate with vegetable fat was associated with a lower risk of lethal prostate cancer.”
Replace carbs with fat? That’s an interesting recommendation in itself, especially since it comes from mainstream medical research!

However, it should be no surprising fact that the human body needs fat from plant sources, which most plant sources contain.

The highest plant foods with good fats include avocados, olives, seeds, and nuts .

Udo Erasmus, the developer of Udo’s Oil , has written that eating the right fats and oils improve energy level, athletic performance , fat loss, cardiovascular health , immune function, longevity , and more.

That’s in sharp contrast to the popular assumption that all fat, even from plant sources, causes weight gain.
The truth is, a 2009 study showed that fat consumption from plants (nuts in particular) was associated with asignificantly lower risk of weight gain and obesity — a prime risk factor for deadly prostate cancer.
Now, if you’re convinced that fats from plant sources are OK but still want to limit your intake, consider cashews!
Cashews are lower in fat than most other nuts . And the fat they do have is the good kind of fat:
Some 75% of the fat in cashews is
unsaturated fat .
Most of this fat is oleic acid (monounsaturated fat), the same kind of heart-healthy fat in olive oil .
This type of fat helps to reduce triglyceride levels, which can be a big help to diabetics.

Bottom line: plant-based fats are not bad for you. In fact, they could even help save your life
Replace carbs with fat? That’s an interesting recommendation in itself, especially since it comes from mainstream medical research!
However, it should come to no surprise if you’re on diet coaching like SOUND HEALTH PLAN & SOLUTIONS.
SOUND HEALTH PAN & SOLUTIONS already knows that whole food fats are beneficial for overall health. In fact, the human body needs fat from plant sources, which most plant sources contain.

Bottom line: plant-based fats are not bad for you. In fact, they could even help save your life.

Be careful the way you consume natural plants and diet, they are highly potent. Be guided by a competent health coach or a nutritionist.

Health / HPV Is The Most Common Sexually Transmitted Infection dat Affects Both Men And W by vikyembassy2000(f): 12:35am On Sep 12, 2017
HPV is the most common sexually transmitted infection that affects both men and women. It’s so common that most sexually active people will get some variety of it at some point, even if they have few sexual partners.

What Is HPV? Common Symptoms

So, what is HPV? HPV is a group of very common — and highly infectious — viruses that may be shared during sexual activity through skin-to-skin contact. According to the World Health Organization, there are more than 100 types of HPV; 13 of these are high-risk, meaning they’re known to cause cancer. There are many HPV strains that are benign and don’t cause many issues, but HPV has also been linked with cancers of the anus, vulva, vagina and penis. Out of the 100 types, there are two types (16 and 18) that lead to 70 percent of cervical cancers and cervical lesions. Types 6 and 11 are non-cancer causing, but they can cause genital warts and respiratory papillomatosis, which causes tumors to grow in the respiratory tract. (3)

Most people don’t know they have HPV, and HPV symptoms often clear up on their own. Depending on the type of HPV virus, human papillomavirus infection symptoms may include: (4)

Genital warts: Usually white with a raised “cauliflower” top. A genital wart may be uncomfortable or cause pain, but it usually doesn’t itch. Genital warts in women often appear on the vulva but may also be found inside the vagina, on the cervix or around the anus. In men, genital warts are typically found on the penis or scrotum or around the anus.
Common warts: Rough bumps that are usually found on the hands, fingers or elbows.
Plantar warts: Hard, grainy, fleshy warts that appear on the soles of the feet and may become flattened due to pressure on the feet. Plantar warts may cause pain when standing. Because HPV is so contagious, it’s easy for it to spread, say, from a towel used by an infected person. Be sure to wear shoes or sandals when walking around public places, such as community swimming pools or gym showers.
Flat warts: Depending on the strain of HPV, flat-topped warts may appear on the face, the legs in women and in the beard area on men.
Oral warts: Lesions may form in the mouth.
HPV-16 is a high-risk subtype that can lead to oropharyngeal (mouth and pharynx) cancer. Signs of HPV-positive oral cancer include the following: (5)

Late signs of the disease:

Trouble swallowing
Coughing up blood
A lump on the neck or in the cheek
Ongoing hoarseness
Other signs and symptoms that may indicate oral cancers: (6)

Sore throat
White or red patch on the tonsils
Jaw pain or swelling
Numb tongue
Constant earaches
Unexplained weight loss
Enlarged lymph nodes
HPV Risk Factors and Causes:

Nearly every sexually active person will get HPV at some point. How do you get HPV? It’s usually caused by vaginal or anal sex, but it can also spread through MouthAction. Because HPV spreads through skin-to-skin contact, sexual intercourse isn’t necessary to catch it. In fact, sometimes an infected mother can infect her newborn during delivery. (7, cool Most anyone who is sexually active is at risk for HPV, but the level of risk can be lowered by using a condom or avoiding sex altogether.
How to Treat HPV Naturally

Here, I lay out how to treat HPV naturally. Much like treating herpes, natural antiviral treatments can help. There are many home remedies that contain antiviral properties, such as herbal supplements, using essential oils and eating certain foods. Try these remedies to keep HPV symptoms at bay.

1. Diet

Eat a wart-removal diet filled with lots of antiviral herbs. Help prevent or get rid of warts by consuming immune-boosting foods:

Foods high in vitamin C, such as citrus fruits, bell peppers and strawberries
Probiotic foods like fermented vegetables, such as kimchi or sauerkraut and live-cultured yogurt and Greek yogurt
Green leafy vegetables, which provide vitamin A and important minerals
High-selenium foods, such as Brazil nuts and mushrooms
Raw cheeses made from goat’s milk, sheep’s milk and A2 cow’s milk
Kvass, a fermented drink made from rye bread with lactobacilli probiotics and has blood- and liver-cleansing properties
Kombucha, a fermented tea high rich in probiotics and B vitamins
Goat’s milk kefir or coconut kefir — contain lots of probiotics; the goat’s milk version has more than the coconut version, which is dairy-free
2. Antiviral Herbs

Ingest or apply antiviral herbs to boost the immune system and inhibit viruses, as well as to provide cardiovascular, digestive and anti-inflammatory support. You can consume antiviral herbs as herbal teas, infusions or herbal-infused oils. The top 10 antiviral herbs are:

Elderberry
Echinacea
Calendula
Garlic
Astragalus root
Cat’s claw
Ginger
Licorice root
Olive leaf
Oregano and oregano oil
Goldenseal is another herbal option, which is a great antimicrobial that acts as an effective natural antibiotic and immune system booster.

The good news is that Swissgarde immune booster contains, Echinacea, garlic oil, Ginger extract. Which help invigorate the body's immune system thereby assisting the body to repel germs and viruses.
Our supper cider contains, cider vinegar, Apple pectin and propolis which assist in keeping the urine acidic, thereby reducing the potential for infection.
Defender, Buchu power aloe power.
Your good health is our consigne for more info call or WhatsApp me on 08086969372
