Politics / Re: Presidency courts Igbos With A Godfather Offer by vinchee: 6:52pm On Feb 11, 2018
LIFEisSIMPLE:
Chilren of Igbo extraction have been made believe that never again will an Igbo man be president of Nigeria.
That alone is troubling enough for any sane mind. This should not be an argument

This is one of the most retarded comments I have seen on nairaland.
The country is being overrun by herdsmen and their cows, and you are more interested in proving your beer parlour friends wrong.

What if there is nobody left to rule by 2023.
What if Buhari goes back on his promise to the Igbos.
Notherners distrust and hatred for the Igbo's has spiked due to Ipob agitation and you think they will willingly hand over presidency to you in 2023?

How stupid!

In 1970 after the war the Nigerian government generally gave £20 of Nigerian money to every eligible adult but no one has ever done the math.

What do you mean by every eligible adult. £20 pounds was given to only those with proof of funds in a bank account.

Let us assume their were one million of them =£20million Nigerian

What is the basis for this assumption. There could have been just a hundred thousand or five hundred thousand or five million (you get my point).

according to this inflation calculator

https://www.moneysorter.co.uk/calculator_inflation2.html
it would be
£432612859. Sterling
Not sure what sterling is doing these days but @ 475

that is

205491108025 Naira

200 billion

Is N200 billion too much for a region that went through 3 years of full blown civil war. Heck individuals in government are stealing way more than that.

It is a testament to the prudent financial management of Papa Awo who also kept the allocation of East Central state for 3 years and paid it all after the war

I am struggling to understand what you mean here. Nigeria did not recognise Biafra as a country. Of course Awo should keep all the accrued allocation for East Central state. You can't eat your cake and have it.

But they are not grateful and feel entitled to that payment. What have we done for the NE .
You have completely lost the plot at this point.

The payout was a net gain for the banks/government. Only those with proof of deposited funds were paid, and they were only paid £20 pounds. You do the math.

No need to run, he should be the dormant not the alfa, he should talk less, let her do the talking, don't go to her complaining, don't don't raise your voice on her especially when fuming, treat her with love, correcr her with love turn her into a new born baby, melt her with love, take her to the gym more often to work out her stress and frustrations, helps her loose the adrenaline buildup, e also has to be her minder,

After anger management she will be better, it makes her understand her self better and knows how to avoid meltdowns,

If she slips into a blood rage, find freezing water and pour on her head, pour lots of it,

Living is a cold region like Canada controls her blood rage, heat and discomfort is a no go for MAOA-A2, tell tale signs are sudden flash of red ring in the eyes, lol, that's why sango is said to have blood in his eyes " I see blood"

Easier said than done. That's a full-time job on it's own.

Where will a man who is supposed to go out and conquer the world find the amount of time, energy and patience needed to manage a wife with such a condition.

So what if they happen to live in a hot and stressful country like Nigeria.
What if the man is an alpha, how is he meant to change his personality to become submissive.

Alas, anything is possible as far as the woman understands and admits thst she needs help.

Your wife has a genetic disorder, it is called MAOA-2, anger gene , bad gene, killer gene, etc, they are known to kill when provoked or threatened, they are caring and extremely protective, extremely strong, physical confrontation is not advised, her stage has gone critical and help is needed, anger management is advised and it might depend on her past, unresolved issues and stress, MAOA-A2 are known to have issues of aggression in their past and this activates the killer instinct in them, once activated they can not go back, the child or adult experiences a defective syndrome of secreting too much adrenaline that the brain will not be able to counter with an depressant called maomine which reduces anger in the brain, it's job is to counter the effect of anger, unbelievable reactions occur and death isn't far from their victims at times, this gene is hereditary, and is most common with AA blood group, they are advised to go for anger management if accosted do not fuel their anger, defuse them, that means the environment is hostile and negative charges (words, actions) should be discouraged from being used against them,

MAOA-A2 are known to make the best soldiers especially special forces, they are strong and capable of incredible violence, fast deadly and accurate, they could still run 4 miles and not feel the effect of bullet wounds or blood loss, except when hit in an vital organ,

Congratulations man u are living with a special woman, use your words wisely

selflessmaya made a psychlogical diagnosis, while you have made a biological one.
And you know what, you may the only correct person here.

MAOA-A2 is also called the warrior Gene. People who possess this gene react violently whenever they feel threatened or find themselved in a stressful situation. They just can't help it. She would've shown little signs of it when they were dating but probably not enough to really alarm OP.

She needs a doctor in order to find a way to manage it. If it persists after seeing a doctor, OP should run.

I think there's more to this story you posted here. But you've failed to tell us what led to the present situation in your marriage . A man cannot just grow to neglect his wife sexually or affectionately. I think the solution would be found if thou knoweth the cause or possible causes .
But it's okay if you wana keep that private . No qualms. But know this :

Kvetching yields no solution
Crying yields no solution
Action does

Faith is simply work . Start doing something and watch how faith expedites the transformation .

Be ready to accept the blame if need be . Most people still face difficult problems because they have bluntly refused to accept the blame and work towards a solution. It's natural to play the victim to obtain sympathy or support from the public , but that's all you gona get .

Be ready to try new things to save your marriage . Don't think you've done it all , accept failure in the face of possibilities and youve lost and lost forever. Please ignore anyone who tries to force you into a false dilemma : walk away or commit adultery .

Remain blessed !

Don't know how old you are, but you have spoken like an elder.

I strongly believe that there is more to this story, unless the husband is a psychopath, deviod of any feelings.

Another thing that has raised a red flag with OP for me is talked about harming herself and her family. This shows that OP has deep unresolved issues bigger than her marriage.
