All my soups in the fridge have gone bad due to inconsistent or not available electricity. Am struggling to maintain generator that can keep the fridges cold for food sake. NEPA dey do us, Fuel dey do us. Why are things deliberately diffcult in Nigeria. Who did we offend? To buy fuel in filling station, na serious queue and struggle, with the extreme, unimaginable high cost. Public transportation has multiplied by 5. Are we not far better off with fuel subsidy? For me, students and parents are to be blamed.
I do part- time teaching in schools. As we speak the students that registered in one of the school are not turning up for classes.
Reason being that, they don't want to pay school fees for 2nd and 3rd term.
Though we've covered our scheme, my intention was to treat past questions, topics they find difficult and mock exams every three weeks from second term but they failed to turn up.
The first week of resumption (i.e 2nd term) I asked them to state topics giving them hard time to handle in Chemistry, surprisingly, none of them submitted till they left.
I have been redeployed.
I rejected SS3 in one of the school because they have two others teachers (N/B: the students were very sad when they learnt I'm not going with them to SS3), while in the former I'm the only one taking chemistry.
Maybe when specimens are out, I will organize a class for them and leave them to fate.

Economy is not helping matters.

This is the TERRIBLE part of the Whole thing.

Our Secondary Students today are so Empty-headed and VERY Poor Thinkers!

They want to Study Engineering, Medicine, etc But are Afraid of Chemistry and Physics.
