Meet Blossom, she's my new adorable Lhasa Apso puppy. She's 10weeks old. I got Diamond Kibbled Dry Food for puppies for her (because that's what she was fed back at the breeder's) but i realised she hardly eats it, if she does, it's in very little quantity and in sessions. Someone suggested i mix the dryfood with Titus Sardine, i did just that and she ate the fish and there wasnt any significant improvement in the quantity of dry food she ate. I decided to try giving her pap and milk and she finished that, though she ate little in multiple sessions but most importantly, she finished it. Her breeder insists i stick to the Dry food because its wrong to switch her meals for now and that she might become selective on the long run. Im worried though that she might not be getting enough food. Im also surprised she's not enjoyably eating the dry food since its perfectly formulated for her and thats what she was eating at the breeder's. Really confused. I want opinions on if i should continue feeding her the dry food anyways or whatever is best. Note she has just spent 3days with me, today's the fourth day though.

You just gave yourself out and this shows you know next to nothing about dogs.
Caucasian is confident,strong willed, fearless and assertive.
The fact is you have never seen a pure breed Caucasian let alone got the balls to stand next to one, GSD also barks a lot more than Caucasian.
My Caucasian lives indoor and rarely bark, aside guarding Caucasian were bred for fighting and combat.
Caucasian ovcharka was used in combat by Russian soldiers in worldwar II not for tracking but for pure combat, unlike GSD whose assest is its sense of smell to track and detect.
Caucasian in the past have single handedly fought bear, pack of wolves and lions, that is why it has remained the badest dog out there closely followed by Pitbull and Rottie. Those breed dont have any atom of fear in their gene bro, I'm not refering to those alterated dogs sold as Caucasian in Jos.

Yes and no. The reason a dog gets too playful is basically the absence of fear. When a dog plays with everyone and everything it shows a lot of trust and an absence of fear of danger. When u start being aggressively violent with a dog it instills fear in it and also exposes it's psyche to d fact that humans are dangerous. The dog therefore acts on that fear to be vicious with strangers. With time that fear becomes its strength. So in essence u need to instill fear in a playful dog to awaken it's animalistic instincts to know danger and also be able to defend itself.

Friendly playful rotts are very rare, I have never even heard complaints about a Rott being too friendly I have only heard such complaints in gsds, beorbel and mutts.

I had this same problem too some years back.
The problem is that friendliness and playfulness is actually a natural built in character of some dogs and in most cases there is really nothing one can do to make them aggressive and territorial.
I would advise you to give these dogs back and get back your money and if that is not possible then you should sell them and get Rottweilers instead because most of them have this natural instinct to be territorial and protective they are also naturally vicious.

getting a rott won't solve mata...rott cn b lk dt...since one do bark at stranger restricted... keep it like dt, wit time d female will ff thru nd bark at stranger, maybe chase y d male cn also pick dt from her.... u can do next to nfn to influence aggression in dem cos its in d blood.... is either u dispose dem or gt an aggressive dog dey can learn from...if u r buying a pup,u av to b sure both parent are aggressive esp d dam....
