But the government initially lied that there was no refugee in Benin at all but when the truth can no longer be hidden they changed their story to there were refugees but they have returned back to their villages. The government has shown from the beginning that they are very dishonest and not to be trusted. They are playing politics with people's lives and that's just evil to the core.

BREAKING!!! Unknown Gunmen Kill Six Policemen, Naval Officers In Anambra

At least three policemen have been killed by unknown gunmen at Neni junction in Anaocha local government area of Anambra State, Igbere TV has learnt.

According to report gathered by IGBERE TV, their security vehicle was also burnt by the assailants.

Three Naval officers were also reportedly killed at Awkuzu in Oyi local government area.

It was learnt the two incidents occurred around 5pm almost simultaneously.

As at the time of filing this, the new Police Public Relations Officer in Anambra, Ikenganyia Tochukwu, a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) could not react over the reports.

I can understand fighting back and defending yourselves when attacked by security agents but what I don't get is this going to random check points and killing the security agents there unprovoked, attacking security patrol teams that are there to ensure the security of the communities. What do the "unknown gunmen" want to achieve by this?

The "unknown gunmen" needs to be careful, I don't know what there is to gain from chasing security agents off the streets of the south east. Do they want the criminal elements in society to have a field day without any one to challenge them?

I have lost any feeling of sympathy for Nigerian soldiers since the lekki toll gate massacre, they are not any different from the bandits and terrorists they claim to be fighting. As far as I am concerned this is a case of one group of bandits killing another group of bandits. Good riddance
