Lord_Reed: I have an AT&T brand phone as well and it does not have the option to select 3G only. The options available are 2G only and 2G & 3G so it may be a carrier restriction as your phone was made specifically for the AT&T network.

Bro I think I got some bad news for ya... Your phone does not support wcdma or 3g as popularly known... It only supports 2g and 4g..there is a hack though.. Go to the link below

Stanley08: This is a CM 10.1 based custom ROM. ParanoidAndroid based on CM 10.1 and AOKP. Which means you will battle with a combination of AOKP bugs and CM 10.1 bugs. Including camera issues and what not. Samsung ROMs are TouchWiz (TW) based. And the latest Official YW based ROMs are 4.1.2 for the S3. However the S4 is releasing with TW based 4.2.2.

Well said but like all aokp and aosp custom roms, it gets better with each update.... I rather stick with custom aokp roms than touchwiz with its ram hungry bloated wares.. By the way.. Jellybam, a combo of all the top roms.. It's quite stable and is recommended.. No camera bugs, or bugatti can't deal with

pls can anyone tell me how to switch from 2g to 3g on ma galaxy note i717 at&t, its runnuing on os 4.0.4, i cant move from 2g to 3g on it and there is 3g network in ma area, i have tried the lte onoff thingy(dint work), also tried *#4636#*#* (dint work also)
it jst switch on itz wheverer it feels like it.... and datz oncein a blue moon

but wen i upgraded it to 4.2.2 i was able to select the network mode... but the thing iz dat the 4.2 rom made me loose my snote, smemo and s gestures so i downgraded back to my normal 4.0.4

You lost your snote and the likes Cuz it was a custom rom you installed, why not try a stock based custom rom like foxhound or ultima roms and many others out there .. I believe your problem will be solved plus you got tonnes of customization you can make..

For all those die hard nokia n900 fans out there thinking of how to install 2go on the beast..follow the link below, download the file but make sure you got icedtea6 downloaded cuz its a dependency...icetea6 can be installed via the terminal...once the phoneme has been successfully installed...download 2go in jar format from a 3rd party site since the jar format cant be gotten from 2go official site...save it on any folder of your choice and whenevr you wanna run it, just click on it...phoneme is still in testing but the developers are working really to mame sure its perfect..the phoneme link is
