Bro, I also detest touchwiz based roms,never been a fan of them...for the records anyways jellybam and pacman have their root sources from aosp and a lil bit more giving rise to combo between aokp and paranoid android......out if curiosity, what aosp based rom are u using?

Greenify will help a bit since those network hungry apps will be hibernated... Disable auto sync, disable mobile network when not in use.. .. Install easy battery saver, it's the best out there with less ram usage, change the current saving mode to intelligent mode and it will disable network when your device is locked..use opera mini browser since it offers top notch Web page and image compressibility saving bandwidth.... You could also install data counter widget to monitor your data usage... It's not that needed anyways.. As for what network, i think mtn bis could do the job... Anything missing could be filled by the house... Peace

Greenify will help with the apps running on the background and it uses less ram.. I don't believe there are viruses and its llikes on android but bugs and ad intrusive softwares but if you must install, go for AVG mobile security antivirus or Dr Web antivirus.. Just my 2 cent.. There is no hype about aosp roms... It's all about choice.. You sticking your a$$ all out for Ubuntu platforms is still based on your choice and personal preference.. Personally, I detest touchwiz and will any day go for aosp roms

I posted sometime ago about the problem I have with my Google nexus 4 phone when I try to play some certain games like subway surf, temple run, the sim, fruit ninja, etc. I was advised to do a factory reset and update the firmware. I did a factory reset but I am not so sure on what is involved in updating the firmware. I actually thought it meant to update the software which I have been using for a while. Its android 4.2.2.

Please, can someone explain what I can do to update my firmware. Also, please, has anyone experienced this problem before? Is there any contrary opinion?

Not gotten a first hand and don't need to since the software update of the s4 will go to both the s3 and N2...check reviews, it's quite unwise to go from a note2 to an s4 unless you're on some spending spree... If you got patience, wait for the note 3...

It's been there for a while.. I prefer it sometimes to xbmc since I could use any video player to watch movies... Streaming is faster with less buffering and it's not a cpu hogger like xbmc. Xbmc has better features and support, an advantage...
