I was at the Alausa passport office recently for a 32pages passport re-issue. Suprisingly, the staff at the immigration office said the FG was not producing 32pages for some time now and that those that applied since last month haven't even gotten. This applies to all their other offices in lagos. They were practically cajouling people to apply for 64pages, which comes at an extra cost.
This is calling on the responsible bodies to make the 32pages available.

Lets hope they get the 32page booklets soon.

I can't imagine how those with large families will cope, especially as the naira keeps falling. I just hope by the time I'm ready it wouldn't have gotten to 500ngn to 1aud

According to the passport immigration office in Lagos, it'll cost you 50k. You'll need your marriage certificate and change of name publication amongst other things.

You should visit the passport office nearest to you to get the required information.

You'll be travelling in January and your passport is going to expire the following month? You should renew your passport before travelling.

Last time I checked, you're charged the same amount for renewal and fresh application. Someone I know paid 35k for renewal of a 64page passport booklet.

Na so ooo. You can make enquiries at other locations before you make a decision. My cousin travelled to Abuja two months ago to have her change of name done. It cost her 4weeks and 50k. Thank God the process has been decentralised at least and you don't have to travel to Abuja.

You should get another opinion at a different location to compare.
Which of the booklets were you told you would get, 32pages or 64 pages?

Just confirmed from my sister who is taking the test soon.

She called their Abuja office and booked. She was then given UKEAS account and asked to pay into their bank account and forward the teller to them.

I suggest the first step is to contact UKEAS, they'd give you more info.

I have contacted UKEAS here in Lagos and I was told the voucher costs #45,000. I'm just surprised that there's no uniformity in price. Thanks.

The passport office at Ikeja is on Assbifi road (the road opposite the mall). According to the officers, it cannot be gotten the same day.

Get enough documents that have your correct date of birth, especially educational related documents. You will have to come to Abuja to do it, its a must! because for now its only done at the immigration headquarters.

Stop misleading people. I was at the Ikeja passport office in Lagos and change of information or reissuance of damaged passports can now be done there without having any cause to go to Abuja. I'll advise anyone with such issues to visit the immigration office nearest to them for a detailed explanation.

It'll depend on the state you're located. You can enquire at any immigration office in your location.

If I'm right, you are processing your E-mandate with the bank. My experience with GT shows that some of their staff are not hands on with the processs yet, unfortunately, banks nationwide are mandated to process E-mandate through a portal but you can opt out. If you are having issues, I advice you fill your E-mandate form, get the banks to sign it and take it to the registrar. Your broker is another option but it MAY not be as fast. Goodluck

Thank you! They have absolutely no clue. I suspect it might be CSCS number. Sadly the bank won't even sign it without providing this special number.
