It's simple. Don't place it on 4g only as our networks here don't support voice over LTE (volte). So always use 4g&3g option. So that when you want to make calls or use ussd it will drop from 4g to 3g automatically.

Not up to a month? If you bought it brand new take it back to the store you bought it from. Your warranty should cover you.

The phone has been locked to that Apple ID. Contact your uncle for the details and if he doesn't know it then that's the end. Just sell d phone as scrap.
